Content production is what we often call "American TV dramas". TV stations definitely need them, but they usually shoot and produce them by themselves, then broadcast them, and cooperate with others. That is also to share copyright.
The main reason for this is that they have no shortage of collaborators or TV series. In order to maximize profits, they must be divided by copyright. After all, when DVDs are released offline, no copyright means completeness. Give up that part of the income.
