Dojo Japanese: どうじょう, doujyou, English: dojo

A dojo is a place for humans or Pokémon to practice and improve their strength.

In the past, experienced warriors or trainers opened training institutions called "dojos" in order to pass on their skills that they had honed over the years to the next generation. The dojo teacher accepts apprentices to teach, and apprentices who are strong and valued by the teacher may be selected to become the teacher's successor, or even become the next successor of the dojo.

There are two types of dojos, dojos only for humans who practice martial arts and dojos for trainers. Examples of the integration of the two can often be seen.

Dojos passed down from generation to generation often have a unique style.Take trainer dojos as an example. Most dojos specialize in a certain attribute or type of skill. Dojos with a long history even have unique skills that are not passed down to others.

The dojos opened by well-known schools are usually called "famous schools", such as the current top schools "Cang Xue Ryu" and "Mento Ryu".

After studying in an officially certified trainer dojo for more than one year, you can obtain a certificate of study from the dojo, which is helpful for entering the trainer training academy or finding a job.For independent trainers who have no intention of enrolling in school, the trainer's dojo is also a more suitable place to train and work part-time to make money.

Tuition fees for trainer training academies are usually higher and admission requirements are stricter.For independent trainers who cannot meet these conditions but still want to receive education, entering the dojo to practice becomes the first choice.However, due to the influx of too many new students every year, the most capable dojos have gradually begun to set entrance examinations. Dojos affiliated with top schools or official dojos have even higher thresholds.

Dojos that are close together often compete with each other, sending students to compete regularly.You can also challenge the entire dojo in your own name, which is commonly known as "Kicking the Hall". Defeating both Shihandai and Shihan in the dojo at once is considered a successful kicking.Those who have completed the kicking gym are usually allowed to choose any position in the dojo, or take away the unique secret skills of the dojo.

If a famous family is successfully kicked out, the person who kicked it out will usually receive media attention immediately and become famous. However, the famous teachers and teachers are so powerful that it is not easy to succeed in the gym.

The shihandai or master status of a famous dojo is very important among trainers, sometimes even as much as the leader of the official dojo.
