Chapter 32: Clash in Diagon Alley

Ling Bai looked at Percy and smiled at him.

Percy straightened his messy hair and lowered his head to eat.

"Morning, kids."

Not long after Ling Bai sat down, a powerful voice rang out.

Everyone greeted him skillfully, it was Arthur who came back.

Ron was introducing his father to Harry, but Ling Bai was eating quietly, pretending not to notice Percy sitting opposite him secretly looking at him.

Percy felt a little sad when he saw Ling Bai, who looked very well-educated just by eating.

The gap between them is so big that it might be very difficult for them to become friends.

Molly pushed Arthur, and then Arthur saw Ling Bai in the corner.

"This is for Percy, this is for the twins, this is for you Ron, oh, this is a gift from Ginny, auntie, this is for you and uncle"

Ling Bai distributed the gifts one by one and everyone opened them.

It was a brand new textbook, exactly the one they needed for the grade they needed.

"Wow, brand new textbooks. Finally they're not the leftovers from George and his friends."

Molly opened the box and found a very beautiful bunch of sunflowers.

Molly was obviously very happy.

And Arthur's was an electric razor.

“Wow, what is this?”

Arthur was very curious about this, and his hand touched some switch, and something on it started to spin in circles.

“This looks so cool”

Ron couldn't help but speak.

"It's a razor. We use it to shave."

Harry looked at the familiar object and reached out to teach Arthur how to use it.

"Muggle stuff"

Molly looked at the gifts on the table with a complicated expression.

"Child, these things are too valuable. We can't accept them."

Ling Bai entered Flourish and Blotts Bookstore and as soon as he entered, he saw Draco standing on the stairs on the second floor.

"Even if school is about to start, there shouldn't be so many people in this bookstore."

"It's Gilderoy Lockhart. He's selling his books here. I remember you, Ling Bai, have read his books."

"That fantasy novelist? I think his books are fake."

Ling Bai noticed Harry and the others with his sharp eyes.

"Harry is here too, but why is his face so dirty?"
