Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 415: The Thoughts of the Mandalorian Protector

Concord Dawn

It has long been tied to the history of the Mandalorians, with some of their greatest warriors and leaders hailing from this planet.

Now, it serves the people of Mandalore once again as it serves as the Protector's base of operations.

In the Protector's main base, more than fifty children gathered in the training ground. They were of similar age, ranging from nine to twelve years old. On the sidelines, a dozen adults dressed in Mandalorian armor focused their eyes on one person.

This person is Spaar, better known as the Mandalorian Resurrectionist. He stood in front of the group, his eyes were sharp, and he briefly glanced at each child. His eyes revealed his expectation and determination for the future, as if he had seen that these children would become the hope of the future.

Spall had a troubled past. He once attempted to become a cavalryman and served in the Grand Army of the Republic.

However, when the war broke out, his life changed dramatically. In the cultivation of clones, he became a special existence. For some unknown reason, he retained the memory of Jango Fett. This made him always feel different from others as he grew up, as if he was in an inescapable dilemma.

This dilemma drove him to leave Kamino and begin traveling to many places Jango Fett had been to - Concordia, Aldor, Tatooine... and finally back to Mandalore.

There, he met three like-minded Mandalorians, Finn Heesa, Toby Dalla and Dax Odo, who became his friends and companions. It was with them that he found his purpose, inherited the knowledge possessed by his predecessors, and continued to take up the mantle of Mandalore.

Based on the knowledge of his predecessor Jango Fett, Sparrow resolutely took on the mission of Mandalore. He chose to take on this task during the galactic war, which was undoubtedly a perfect time. The Mandalorians are in a turbulent period and need a leader to guide them forward and regain their lost glory. Sparrow will take on this task together with his close companions.

Becoming a Mandalore is a complex and strange experience for Sparrow, as he held the title before Jango was imprisoned and lost his original army years ago.

Being a part of this right now, during this trying time, was definitely something he wasn't sure he could handle.

But he’d be damned if he didn’t try.

"Mandalorian," Spaar shouted loudly, his voice echoing throughout the venue, and the whispering people instantly quieted down.

"We are not a single race or nation, but a powerful culture and a strong belief." He began to pace in front of the group of abandoned children, telling their history.

"Our history can be traced back to the early days of the Milky Way. We were once a united race. But as time went by, our predecessors realized the power of unity and began to accept and respect diverse Mandalorian ideas. Anyone who accepts our unique ideas can become a Mandalorian. Since then, the fire of our culture has never been extinguished."

The Mandalorian adults present stared up as Spall continued his speech. "To be a Mandalorian is to accept that life will be full of challenges," he declared. "This is not just about combat and bounty hunting, but also about inner hardships and external tests that together shape you and make you a stronger person for the rest of your life. Mandalorians will serve their tribes, clans, and families unconditionally."

The children watched the resurrected one intently. "Glory belongs to those who dare to fight for themselves! They dare to take risks and show their value to the galaxy, and they should be respected and feared." Spall emphasized, "For thousands of years, the name of Mandalorian has represented two things: fear and respect."

In the confusion and expectation, the children's eyes were focused on Sparr. He noticed a young Togruta girl, her eyes were full of fear and anxiety. He walked slowly towards her, squatted gently, and asked softly: "Tell me, little one, are you afraid?"

She trembled a little, but nodded.

"why?"

She hesitated, then began to stammer, "Being a Mandalorian... that sounds scary."

Spall frowned, and a look of understanding and a wry smile appeared on his face.

"Now? Why are you scared?" he asked softly, trying to understand her fear.

The girl took a deep breath and spoke clearly, "Because you said we have to fight. I don't want to get involved. I don't want to hurt anyone."

Hearing her answer, Spall couldn't help but feel a little compassion. He stretched out his hand and gently let her hold it, "Come on, I won't hurt you."

The Togruta girl hesitated, then slowly placed her hand over Spar's large one. He gently took her hand, then whispered, "What's your name, little one?"

"Bello," she replied.

Spall repeated her name and chuckled, "What a beautiful name."

Hearing his praise, Bello's tension eased a little.

"Tell me, Bello, where were you found?" Spall asked gently.

The Togruta girl tilted her head, a little confused as to why he asked that. But she answered anyway, "I saw those helmeted men hurt my family. Then they were taken away by a group of people..." At this point, her voice began to choke and tears began to well up in her eyes.

Spall immediately hugged her tightly and comforted her. His heart was full of sympathy and compassion. He knew that these children had experienced a lot of things that they should not have to endure. He must do his best to protect them and make them feel safe and respected.

She leaned on his shoulder, tears falling, and the people around them watched them silently. There was silence all around, only Bello's sobs echoed in the air. After a few minutes, the child began to calm down, and Spall took a piece of cloth from her belt and gently wiped the tears from her face.

Spahr spoke to her softly but seriously: "Young man, you must understand that this is why you were brought here. You may never see your original family again. I am deeply sorry for this. But at the same time, this is also your chance to start over. Here, you can find a new family and become a stronger self. Find strength in yourself and others, and protect everything you want to protect."

Bello's eyes were filled with uncertainty and confusion.

Spall continued, "You have a good heart. I can see that as well as anyone. We will turn that goodness into strength and help guide the future of Mandalorians towards a better tomorrow. You need us to keep you safe, don't you? Well, one day, we will look up to you and know that you can do it, too. You can at least try, not only for me, but for the brothers and sisters around you."

Bello rubbed her eyes and looked around, she saw the eyes of other children. Some children frowned, and some children tried to comfort her with a smile. But no matter what their expressions were, Bello could see the same thing in their eyes-loneliness. This is a lost place, most of them have experienced the hardships of war, crime and other terrible situations, and they are all orphans. However, they are all saved by the protectors and gathered here.

Looking at the children around her, Bello felt an urge to find her own place here. She didn't know what happened to her family, but she knew she was no longer alone. Here, she would start a new life and become a stronger person. Together with these children, she would support and encourage each other and face the challenges of the future.

Spall didn't need her to say anything, because the determination and fortitude in her eyes were enough for him to understand her determination.

Spall's mouth widened, appreciating her in his own unique way. He touched her cheek lightly with his knuckles, gently pushing her back to look at him. "Ata girl." He called her approvingly, and then patted her head gently. "Little one, your journey is about to begin."

Bello blinked, took a deep breath, quickly wiped away any tears that might have fallen, and smiled back at Spall. He returned to where he had first spoken to the orphans and turned to speak to them all.

"Education, armor, self-defense, our tribe, our language, our leaders—these are the pillars of our survival," he declared. "You will learn these things here. You will strengthen your body, sharpen your mind, and strengthen your will. You will practice your fighting skills, forge your own armor and weapons, and learn the language and songs that bind us all together."

He admonished: "Please listen carefully to your mentors and do not hesitate to ask questions. Because challenging yourself is as important as challenging others. This is how you grow."

Spall looked up and saw a spaceship flying towards the base camp. He recognized who it was and the corners of his mouth rose slightly. He turned to the nearest Mandalorian and nodded to her to indicate the handover. She also nodded back, put on the helmet, and took his place.

“So, young man,” the Mandalorian began, “let’s start with the basics—”
