Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

“Invasion!

Holographic images of multiple ships coming out of hyperspace are shown along with a swarm of drones attacking the city planet itself.

"An unknown threat has tampered with the programming of countless droids across the galaxy, causing them to attack any and all organic entities.

The screen flashes to clones and Jedi Knights fighting valiantly against seemingly endless swarms of drones. From time to time, a few humans with extraordinary powers are seen fighting alongside Republic forces.

“Hysteria and confusion prevailed as multiple reports on this mysterious enemy showed them attacking not only the Republic’s capital planet, but also multiple planets belonging to both the Republic and the Separatists.

Moments later, the video shows footage of the Separatist Alliance fighting off a sudden influx of ships and drones that devastated their forces.

"Both sides blamed the Republic and the Separatists. Some people attributed the cause of the melee to an unknown person, who may be the root of all this. But this is just speculation, and there is no evidence at present. At the same time, the Republic has regained its footing and gathered its strength to fight against this person who appeared in-"

"Turn that noisy thing off," a small rodent-like creature said. "They keep doing the same shit over and over again."

HK-47: "Oh, come on, Master Rocket." A mechanical voice said, with a deep sense of joy in its tone. "The thought of the galaxy's capital being attacked makes me feel alive."

"Yeah, yeah, HK, we already know that, you've said that many times before." Rocket Raccoon said, patting the assassin droid on the head. "Now keep quiet. I have to make sure my guess is correct.

HK: "Q: Rocket, what are you doing?"

"After seeing those robots get possessed by shit tricks, I'm pretty sure that won't happen to you." Rocket Raccoon replied, opening the back of HK's head and beginning to examine the robots processor core.

HK "Insulting statement: Master Rocket, I am part of a group calling themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy, and they profit from killing meatbags." HK declared solemnly. "No known force can allow me to lay hands on all of you."

Rocket Raccoon snorted loudly. "Yeah~ I won't take any chances."

As Rocket checked on HK on the spacecraft, in the cabin below the spacecraft, some other members of the team were discussing what had happened.

On their ship were Star-Lord Quill, Gamora, Kraglin, Drax, and one of their invited friends.

"Didn't you say that Hondo had these robots around him?" Kraglin asked Gamora and Star-Lord, and they both nodded.

"Wonder where they came from," Star-Lord said, observing the holographic news about the attack on Coruscant.

On the center table were some of the robot pieces they had gotten from their last mission.

They were completing a small escort job to get some quick pay in a neutral system when this melee began.

Not only do they reunite with those advanced robots from a while ago, but they also battle nearly every other robot they encounter, as the robots attack any civilians in sight.

The Guardians not only fought for their own lives, but also protected their clients and civilians.

"Any ideas, Suji?" Gamora asked, turning to the Zabrak female bounty hunter, who held up the head of a droid that had attacked them.

While many of the robots out there are mostly similar, this one has a very different design.

The spacing of the mouth, the two antennae on either side of the head, and the angle of the eyes all give it a more menacing appearance.

Suji examined the robot's head carefully.

"Have we encountered these robots before?" Suji pointed out finally, throwing the head back into the pile.

"Yeah, on Felucia," Star-Lord muttered.

Gamora said loudly. "Maybe we should track down Hondo and ask him where he got it in the first place."

"But these bastards are all over the galaxy," Kraglin said. "What would Hondo know?"

“He must have gotten them from somewhere… or someone.

"Then where should we go—"

"I don't know." Gamora shook her head and interrupted Star-Lord. "It's definitely not the entire galaxy."

"What do you mean?" Star-Lord asked, and the group turned their attention to the deadliest woman in the galaxy.

"I've been looking at maps and news about the attack," Gamora said, pressing a button on the table.

Now before them was a display of the entire Milky Way galaxy, with several areas marked in red.

"Look where these attacks are happening," Gamora said, pointing to the center of the galaxy. "There's Coruscant, right? The capital of the Republic, governing most of this place. And this is Rakkus—"

"Laxus," Suji corrected.

"Alright, Laxus." Gamora nodded to her. "This is the capital of the Separatists. This is where the largest bounty hunter guild operates, and it's one of the main hubs in Hutt space. These are coordinated and tactical attacks.

"How did you know?" Su Ji asked, not doubting her, just curious.

Gamora kept staring at the map of the galaxy instead of facing the Zabrak women.

"It's something I've seen my father do," she replied in a slightly muffled tone.

Suji blinked, watching the strange change in expression on the usually calm assassin's face.

The rest of the Guardians moved around, and Drax clenched his fists tightly.

Suji noticed this strange change and she looked at all the guardians strangely.

"So...what do we do?" Kraglin asked, mostly to Star-Lord, who was frowning in thought.

"Well... the best thing to do is to find out what happened," said Star-Lord. "And since we don't know where these robots came from..."

“…time to hunt down the Pirate Lord.” Star-Lord added. “Does Suji want to come along? Is Embo around?”

"They're not far away," said Zabrak bounty hunter Suji. "I'll contact them. I'm curious about this myself."

"Okay." Star-Lord nodded. "Where are Mantis and Groot?

"They're in Mantis's room," Kraglin replied.
