Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Obi-Wan raised his wrist communicator and he and Matt followed the man.

"Tal Merrick is a traitor, and he's holding Sardin hostage," Kenobi told Anakin as he and Matt now ran through the halls.

"This way." Matt led Kenobi to the bow of the ship.

"Roger that, but I have problems of my own right now," Anakin grunted, slicing through another swarm of smaller assassin droids.

Behind him, Black Widow and Captain America are dealing with an army of micro-robots.

"Cody, Rex, how are you guys doing?" Anakin said into his wrist communicator.

"It's quiet here, sir." Cody reported as he and Rex rounded a corner. Just as he was about to continue walking forward, the clone commander spotted a helmet lying on the ground. "Wait a minute..."

Cody carefully turned his helmet to look inside and saw a small mini-droid inside pounce on the commander. Several more mini-droids appeared and attacked the two senior clone officers as they swarmed the area.

Thankfully, Anakin appears around the corner with R2, and he slashes the mini-droid with his lightsaber, shocking Rex and the others.

"Thank you." The clone captain nodded and said.

R2 chirped in appreciation, and the two clones stood up.

"Well, we found the little ones." Skywalker said. "Where's their mother?"

"never seen it."

There was a metallic scream from behind them. Turning, they were too late, for the mother robot leaped out of the darkness and carried Captain Rex to a more open area. It raised its two front legs, ready to knock him down.

Rex grabbed the two sharp legs that were about to pierce him and kicked the robot off him. The robot climbed up the wall when a disk was thrown on its legs, splitting them directly. The disk returned to its owner, waiting for the clone captain to take advantage of the opportunity given to him by Cap.

Rex jumped on the droid and aimed his blaster at the mini-droid's entry point and fired a barrage of bullets directly into it. The assassin droid sparked and its optics soon disappeared.

He looked back at the others and nodded with satisfaction, and the others also nodded.

"That's good."

On the bridge of the Crown, a crew of Republic Guardsmen were stationed throughout the room, operating the controls via hyperspace and maintaining their trajectory to Coruscant. So far, everything was normal, even if they had been on high alert earlier due to the assassin droids aboard the ship.

When the door to the room opened, the people on the spacecraft thought it was the guards coming, or someone else. However, to their surprise, Senator Merrick took the Duchess of Satine hostage.

Some of the guards were preparing to react accordingly, but with Merrick's blaster already drawn, it was too sudden for them. He fired quickly and accurately at the guards before turning his weapon on the unarmed captain.

"No, please, I beg you--"

The man was shot in the head and silenced.

"Monster! You are a horrible monster!" cried Sardin, shocked at the death of the guards and the captain.

"Get used to it," Merrick growled. He walked to the center of the control room and started a transmission.

"Death Watch Commander. Pre Vizsla greeted the Duchess and the Senator by video.

"Here comes Tal Merrick."

"Senator Merrick. It appears you have completed your mission. Approved for pre-announcement.

“Yes sir. I have the Duchess but I need your help in getting her away,” Merrick said. “The Crown has two Jedi and three Avengers. That could pose a problem.”

"Don't worry, Merrick, reinforcements are on the way." Prey's tone was ominous. "Our respected Confederate friends have generously provided support of equal ability to those Jedi Knights and Avengers associated with you. Be prepared to exit hyperspace so they can come.

As the transmission ended, Merrick held the Duchess closer to him as he maneuvered the Crown to suddenly exit hyperspace. From there, he signaled the CIS so they could board the ship.

They return with Obi-Wan and Daredevil and encounter Anakin and Black Widow running towards them in the same hall.

"Did you find them?" Kenobi asked immediately.

“No, but I have soldiers stationed in every escape pod,” Anakin said. “Steve is with them, making sure no one gets through.

"Merrick will try to signal for help to his allies. We must find him," Kenobi said as they entered the elevator in the hallway.

"He's already sent it," Matt said, his hearing having picked up the conversation between Merrick and Prey. "As soon as we leave hyperspace, the enemy will come in."

Everyone present was silent as they took the elevator to their destination.

Until Anakin broke the silence. "Now might not be the time to ask, but you and Sadine... forever..."

"I don't see how that has anything to do with the situation at hand. Obi-Wan said in an aggressively defensive manner. Anakin winked and caught Natasha's eye, both of them smiling amusedly.

The moment they exited the elevator, they felt the Crown shake shortly after, sounding a loud alarm, signaling to everyone on board that they were under attack. Many clones entered the battle station, rushing through the many corridors to hold off their attackers.

"It looks like they're coming," said Natasha.

"We'll take care of it, Obi-Wan. You? Go find your girlfriend." Anakin said, running off with Matt and Natasha.

"Yes. Uh, no, Anakin, she's not mine..." Obi-Wan knew this was pointless and ran to find Sadine.
