Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy
Chapter 110 Two Boys
Peter Parker was now on the verge of a range of emotions including fear, wonder, surprise, excitement, guilt, etc.
So much so that his two Jedi friends were assigned to help him adjust to his new surroundings, and these emotions radiated from him, leaving the young Spider-Man feeling a little overwhelmed.
Although Ahsoka and Barriss didn't know much about the world, they could at least sense a person's emotional changes.
Since being rescued by Spider-Man, Ahsoka and Barris have been assigned to help young Parker better adapt to the new environment of the Jedi Temple and the entire galaxy. Other heroes from Earth also actively offer suggestions, and eventually, the Council agrees with the Avengers that Spider-Man should be able to adapt to the galaxy faster by communicating with people of his own age.
Ahsoka and Barris found Spider-Man strange, but also very interesting. He had a lot of questions... more than when the Avengers first arrived, almost chattering. The rest of the Avengers seemed to be the type who would only acquire the basics and then learn what they needed as time went on or as the situation changed.
And Spider-Man, is like a sponge.
He was obviously a little nervous about being on an alien planet, and although the presence of most of the Avengers here could effectively ease his nervousness and anxiety, it could not eliminate it.
However, when Barris offered Spider-Man the opportunity to go to the Jedi Library, he was unsure at first, but within a few days, he quickly mastered the basics of the galaxy and any available knowledge, throwing himself into it.
War Machine jokes with the others that he now understands why Iron Man would recruit a kid like him, who is like a younger version of Iron Man.
Currently, Spider-Man is immersed in a book world about the history of the galaxy and is completely fascinated by the Mandalorian culture in it.
Apparently, they have a long and storied history in the galaxy and have had numerous encounters with the Jedi Order.
Speaking of Jedi, Spider-Man was shocked to learn that they had existed in the galaxy for thousands of years. They had lightsabers! They had blasters! …
Then there's the whole hyperspace travel thing, which is exactly like something out of a science fiction book.
But when he thought of Aunt May far away on Earth, all the excitement and curiosity about learning about this new galaxy disappeared, and was replaced by worry, worry that Aunt May would not be able to find him...
"He seems to do that a lot," Ahsoka whispered to Barriss, who sat next to her. Two Jedi apprentices sat at the table next to Spider-Man, also studying under their Master's guidance, as they only had a day or two left before their vacation ended.
All this crazy stuff going on over the past few days has resulted in an extended break for both the Jedi and the Clone Troopers, and honestly, it's pretty clear that this is just to beef up security on Coruscant until the Force stabilizes.
It can be said that the Guard has become more unstable and chaotic these days. In fact, all of Coruscant is in a state of tension.
Barris frowned slightly and cleared his throat loudly, causing Spider-Man to turn around.
"Peter," Barris whispered, "are you all right?"
"Oh? Oh! No, no, I-I'm fine," Spider-Man said, although it was clear from their facial expressions that they didn't believe him.
"Peter, you know we can sense your discomfort through the Force," Ahsoka said with a mischievous smile.
"Can you do it?" Spider-Man asked curiously and surprised.
"We can do a lot of things with the Force." Barris smiled and said, "Do you still remember the knowledge about the Force?"
Spider-Man stroked his chin, "Uh... kind of got an impression. About how the Jedi used it to unleash their abilities."
Ahsoka chuckled, "That's the simplest way of putting it. The Force is the source of our power as Jedi Knights. With it, we are able to defend the Republic and the galaxy for thousands of years."
"The source of the power?" Spider-Man pondered, "What is going on?"
"That's... a little hard to explain," Barriss said. "Here, throughout the galaxy, we are all deeply connected to the Force. Master Luminara told me what Master Yoda once told her. The Force is the Jedi's eternal friend, not a tool. It is everywhere, bringing us together. The Force gives life in the galaxy the power to grow. It exists in every corner of the galaxy. From me, to Ahsoka, from books, to the ships outside the city, from the Temple to the inhabitants of all planets, to every blade of grass. It is the duty of all Jedi to feel the Force and to obey its duties."
Barriss always loved talking about the Force. For her, it was her way of advancing her own knowledge and connection to the Force, while helping others connect to this all-encompassing energy, even those without it.
After she finished her little speech, Barris realized she was stuck in her own little world, with Ahsoka and Spider-Man staring at her.
Barris felt a little embarrassed and shy, and his face instantly turned red.
Ahsoka smiled and nudged her friend, "I always knew you were smarter than me, Barriss, but just now you sounded like a master."
"I hope I haven't made a fool of myself," said Parris sheepishly.
"No, I think you sound like a true Jedi," Ahsoka complimented her friend, "Don't you agree, Peter?"
The girls looked towards the young superhero and were surprised to see that the young man, who had no knowledge of the Force, was deep in thought.
"Responsibility, huh?" Spider-Man muttered to himself, "You know, this force sounds very similar to telekinesis on Earth. Secular beliefs connect all of us together. I think Earth does have something similar to the force."
Ahsoka and Barris perked up at Spider-Man's words, something they had never heard the other Avengers talk about.
"Do you have the Force on Earth?" Barris asked curiously.
"From the way you describe it, yes." Spider-Man nodded, thinking back to his several trips through Japanese history, and the many anime and manga he had read on the subject.
"How does it feel?" Ahsoka asked eagerly, pulling her chair closer to Spider-Man. "Well, what do you call it? Telekinesis, right?"
"Yeah. Telekinesis. Although I think it's a little different." Spider-Man muttered, "Is the Force in your body a separate thing?"
The two girls were confused, "What do you mean?"
Spider-Man thought for a moment, "From the way you describe it, the Force is not your own energy, right?"
The two Jedi girls thought about what Spider-Man said and nodded, "No, the Force is not a potential energy within a person."
Spider-Man leaned back with his arms crossed, a thoughtful expression on his face, "Then the Force should be different from the telekinesis on Earth."
"Perhaps when we find our way back to your planet, we can find the answers," Ahsoka said, unable to suppress her thirst for adventure, just like her Master.
“That sounds like a great idea,” Barris said, a little surprised at how willing she was to explore the planet.
Spider-Man was quite confused by the eagerness of the two girls in front of him. He had only known these two people for about four days, but he was with them every day during these four days and learned a lot from them. The galaxy at war, the Jedi Order, the Force, etc. So he also had a general understanding of the two people's personalities.
Ahsoka was more outgoing, more in line with the type of teenagers his age that he had interacted with on Earth.
Barriss was quieter, more reserved, and more thoughtful, seeming to choose her words carefully. She didn't look much older than him or Ahsoka.
But returning to the topic they were talking about just now, Spider-Man grinned and joked: "Okay, you help me understand this galaxy, and I will teach you all about Earth."
"Deal," Ahsoka said excitedly.
