Sirius Black was enveloped by an emotion that appeared out of nowhere. He stared at Xia blankly for a long, long time, until this burning gaze finally caught the girl's attention.

Hearing her calling his name, Sirius came back to his senses from his daze. He put away the surging love in his chest. Without permission, he would not use it to coerce Xia, even if he was about to be drowned by this emotion, even if he had nowhere to put his love for her. But compared to himself, he was more afraid that Xia would be frightened by his feelings and become uncomfortable...

He was waiting for an opportunity, the right time.

Sirius showed his usual flamboyant smile, still with that unruly look, but less fierce, and seemed much gentler. He walked quickly to Xia's side and sat down. The boy, who had already begun to grow taller, was much taller than Xia. He spread his arms and leaned on the back of the sofa, with the intention of embracing Xia in his arms.

He just didn't let his emotions weigh on Xia in words, but that didn't mean he wouldn't show it in his actions when they were together.

Xia was not completely unresponsive during the few seconds of silence. This sentence flashed through her mind again. She had always known that Sirius was recognized as handsome. Apart from other things, there were quite a few people who secretly looked at him every day. But she thought that Sirius showed a completely different kind of handsomeness today.

Xia didn't know how to describe it, but if she lived in the Internet world decades later, she would know it. It was the feeling of a peacock spreading its tail.
