So Garona had another task, to approach the Guardian of Humanity, the most powerful human mage, and find a way to unlock the secret of the Tomb of Sargeras from him.

The magical power displayed by Varian caused Garona to misunderstand that he was the guardian of mankind, Medivh.

Garona had never expected that this guardian would appear nearby so quickly! It was totally effortless.

In order to complete the task assigned by Gul'dan, Garona decided to go to Karazhan to find out.

Llane, the king of Stormwind and Medivh's friend, granted him this place and awarded him the title of "Master of Karazhan".

After incorporating the power emanating from Medivh, the Tower of Karazhan gradually merged with the space-time node, and the tower itself became a part of this special space-time. This folded and twisted space-time is also the cause of the Karazhan illusion. The Karazhan illusion is not an illusion or a ghost, but a real fragment of the past and future, which is involved in the disordered space-time and appears in a place where it should not appear.
