Rebirth: It's Not You, It's Me
Chapter 21 The College Entrance Examination Ends
On the last night before the exam, students from other classes couldn't contain their excitement.
They stopped studying and the teachers relaxed their supervision over the students on the last night.
The first and second year high school students are on holiday. The school is dominated by the third year high school students.
But no matter how chaotic or noisy other classes were, the students in our class studied quietly. They all thought that learning one more word would give them one more point on the test. They studied every minute.
I hope everyone can win the first prize and make the leap to the dragon gate.
In order to prevent students from getting into danger during the college entrance examination, the school has implemented unified management and students are not allowed to leave the school.
On the day of the college entrance examination, I calmed myself down and prepared myself to face the college entrance examination with a peaceful mind.
Although I have taken the college entrance examination once, I have long forgotten all the test questions. I can only rely on my learning results during this period to face another review.
The road you walk day and night will eventually be covered with flowers.
With anticipation and full of energy, I walked into the examination room.
The morning sun shines through the windows and onto the tables and chairs in the examination room, creating a solemn atmosphere. The students are filled with expectations and dreams at this moment.
Sitting quietly in their respective seats, ripples appeared in their hearts, and a tense atmosphere filled the examination room, as if time had stopped at this moment, leaving only the sound of heartbeats echoing.
Ding-ling-ling... As the exam bell rang, the first Chinese exam began.
The invigilator sat solemnly in front of the podium, holding the scepter of time in his hand, his eyes as sharp as torches, watching every student. The test paper was spread out on the table, and the black and white words formed a line of knowledge, waiting for the students to fight.
I wrote quickly and attentively, flipping through the test paper. The tip of my pen danced on the paper as I wrote down the answers in my heart with all my strength.
I feel like there is a castle of knowledge in my mind, and every question is a door waiting to be opened.
I seemed to forget everything around me and was concentrating on answering the questions. In the last thirty minutes, I finished the last essay.
I checked the test paper carefully, closed my pen when the bell rang, stretched myself, and couldn't help but sigh, I had a smooth pass in this subject.
I passed every exam thereafter with ease.
Time flies. After three days of exams, with the ringing of the bell for the last exam, it announced the end of the exams and the end of high school career.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief at this moment, and an inexplicable sense of relief and fatigue surged in their hearts.
As soon as I walked out of the examination room, I wanted to go home and have a good sleep for three days and three nights.
My parents took me home, I washed off half of my fatigue, told my parents not to disturb me, and said I wanted to rest for a few days to adjust myself. Then I went back to the bedroom and lay on the bed.
Looking back on the past year, I slept less than six hours a day, used up a gel pen every two days, and supported myself with countless instant coffees. When I walked towards the teaching building in the dark dawn, I opened the quilt without hesitation in the morning, and felt the soberness of the cold water on my face. Suddenly, I felt relieved.
The joy I felt when I solved a difficult math problem, the surprise I felt when I found a pattern in a reading question, the pride I felt when I mastered a piece of classical Chinese, all brought me confidence in the exam room. All my efforts were rewarded. It was worth it.
I fell asleep unconsciously.
When I woke up, it was already noon the next day. The college entrance examination was over, and I wanted to start letting myself go. I wanted to experience everything I had never experienced in my previous life and wanted to experience.
After washing up, I was about to call Erdan when Erdan called me tacitly.
After the call was connected, Erdan's excited voice came: "Luo Luo, our new stage of life has begun. Are you happy?"
"Of course I must."
"Tell me quickly what your plans are for such a long vacation? Work during the summer vacation to earn money to buy the things you like? Or go out and have fun?" Erdan asked.
"There will be so many job opportunities in the future, decades away, so why rush? Going out and having fun is what we should do now." After saying this, the blueprint for my wonderful summer vacation has been drawn up.
"Then let's form a group."
After hitting it off, we prepared to go on a whim. After packing our things and reporting our itinerary to our family, we took a taxi to the airport with our luggage. This was the beginning of our first whim-based trip.
The two of us gathered at the airport and bought the next flight to Hangzhou, wanting to experience the misty Jiangnan.
I booked a hotel while waiting for the flight, and will make plans after arriving at the hotel.
Arriving in Hangzhou, the hotel butler came to pick us up. After arriving at the hotel, the two of us arranged the itinerary and prepared a strategy.
I want to visit several famous ancient towns in Jiangnan.
First stop——Wuzhen.
Wuzhen is one of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. It is shrouded in mist and rain, mottled by time, quiet and ancient.
The second stop is Zhouzhuang.
Zhouzhuang, China's first water town, has ancient stone roads, small bridges, narrow alleys and dark tiles, which together create a Jiangnan ink painting.
The third stop is Nanxun Ancient Town.
Nanxun Ancient Town, the only ancient water town in Jiangnan that combines Chinese and Western styles, used to be a gathering place for wealthy merchants and has a rich cultural heritage.
The fourth stop is Fenghuang Ancient Town.
The ancient town of Fenghuang is home to a cluster of stilt houses, blue brick and white walls, wooden lattice windows, and bright lights.
The fifth stop is Jingdezhen.
Jingdezhen is magical and mysterious, with a blue sky and misty rain, it is so beautiful.
I planned five places for my first spontaneous trip. After the trip, I went home to rest for a few days before going on the second trip.
