The sky outside the classroom was overcast with dark clouds, and it looked like it would rain heavily soon. Birds were circling at low altitude, with the occasional crows' hoarse and mocking cries, which were simply annoying.

Professor Horace Slughorn's Potions classes were always humorous. The man would use all kinds of weird topics to arouse the interest of the young wizards present and instill knowledge into the students' brains.

That is indeed the case.

Relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere.

Today, however, seemed to be in harmony with the cloudy weather, so dull that people didn't even have the desire to communicate.

Horace Slughorn stood at the podium, smiling reluctantly, "Who wants to come up and give us a perfect demonstration? This is a great opportunity to win points for the house."

His eyes fell on the black-haired boy with the best talent in Potions in the first row of Slytherin seats, expecting him to take the hint from his words as he always did.

The liquid in the crucible was bubbling and boiling. Severus lowered his head and processed his potion materials without looking around. The classroom was eerily quiet.

"Oh, well, it seems that the potions in this class are a bit difficult, so everyone can practice on their own. If you have any questions, remember to raise your hands and ask the professor for help."

He was busy giving himself a step, his fat body like a walrus, and he winked at the students in the audience in a self-righteous manner.

Grell Nott looked at Severus, who was sitting in the row in front of him and lowered the temperature of the entire classroom by several degrees, and lowered his eyes in deep thought.

In the silent classroom, apart from a few questions and Slughorn's explanation, the only sound was the sound of glass being hit by the wind.

The bell rang for the end of get out of class, and the students couldn't wait to hand in the potions they had brewed, which were generally inferior to the previous ones, and hurried away under Professor Slughorn's stiff smile.

Everyone in this class felt depressed and couldn't wait to escape.

Severus handed the potion he had made in class to Slughorn. Even though he was in such a bad mood, this was just a small potion and it could not affect the quality of the potion. It still emitted the bright light that represented perfect quality as always.

Taking the bottle of potion, Slughorn felt less dissatisfied with the culprit who had ruined today's class.

There was not much conversation, the boy's worries were clearly written on his face, but the understanding professor would not let this bring bad luck.

The cold air in the classroom followed Severus. After the boy left, the cold classroom gradually warmed up.

The cold wind poured into the corridor and became even more rampant at the corners of the fork in the road. The little wizards around wrapped their scarves tightly and did not stay for too long, to show the greatest respect for today's abnormal weather.

The fluttering robes brought with them a stream of cold air mixed with the bitterness of potions, which swirled into the auditorium. The lively auditorium was filled with people discussing yesterday's grand Quidditch match.

Surprised, strange, disgusted and mocking glances fell on Severus, and following his steps, the hands under their sleeves gradually clenched into fists.

Lily pushed away James Potter, who had become even more clingy after confirming their relationship, and her emerald eyes were full of surprise, "Severus?"

Severus glanced at James Potter with disdain, feeling that his good friend had a very poor eye for selecting people.

"I'm looking for him."

When Remus saw Severus walking towards him, he felt a little uneasy. When he saw him pointing his finger at him, his uneasiness became even stronger and he put down the cutlery in his hand, pretending to be calm.

"Is it Wen Xiu who is looking for me?"

When Severus heard the name of Wenxiu Lord, he seemed to recall some unpleasant memories. His tone changed slowly and he quickly said, "Wenxiu's illness has not been cured. He asked me to tell you that he will not go to the hospital wing this afternoon."

He finished speaking and without waiting for Remus to respond, he glared at James Potter who was clinging to Lily with disdain, then turned around and strode away.

Someone at the Slytherin table noticed Severus' unusual behavior and wanted to find out more. In the end, they discovered that there was no one at the entire table who could actually come into contact with the black-haired boy and Vince Lord.

The heads of the sixth and second grades were both absent. Grell Nott carried a plate of dessert and walked to the sixth grade seat and sat down. As the eldest son of the Nott family, people around him just glanced at him a few times and then stopped looking at him.

He passed the dessert in front of him to Goyle and Crabbe who were eating hard, and seemed to glance at the empty seat unintentionally.

"Goyle, why are there only two of you? Where's Malfoy?"

The heartless Gower took the dessert and said, "You don't want to eat it?"

Seeing Grayl Nott shaking his head, he happily scooped off a large piece with a spoon and put it into his mouth. A few words came out of his mouth that was full.

"Master Malfoy is ill, and the professor said he has asked for a week's leave."

Grell Nott wanted to ask more questions, but when he looked up he met Narcissa Black's interested gaze.

Perhaps asking Lucius Malfoy's fiancée could yield more information.

Narcissa Black seemed to have seen through his intentions. The noble and elegant woman smiled and said, "I didn't expect that the eldest son of the Nott family would care so much about Lucius. I didn't know when the two of you became so close."

The boy wanted to give a friendly smile, but his temperament was such that a friendly smile on someone else's face sounded unusually eerie when it appeared on his face.

"I'm just a little curious. Mr. Malfoy has never been absent. Isn't Miss Black curious about where her fiancé is going?"

The woman picked up the silver cup on the table. The ordinary drink seemed to have a higher value against her background, making people wonder what kind of precious and rare wine was in the cup.

"It's just a minor illness."

Grell Nott followed the woman's gaze and looked into the auditorium. The tightly closed door blocked the cold air from entering. The black figure left and the place was already empty.

In the first-year head seat, the young snakes around Regulus chattered about the morning lessons.

The boy responded perfunctorily, and the charcoal-grilled lamb chops on the plate were pierced with holes by the fork.

His gentle and elegant appearance lies in the same madness as Sirius. They share the same family blood, so how big of a gap can there be between them?

I haven’t been with Wenxiu Lord for nearly two days since I left yesterday, and I haven’t seen him at all today.

Regulus's calm eyes were anxious, and the noisy buzzing of flies was still lingering in his ears.

He unconsciously increased the strength of the knife in his hand, piercing through the food on the plate that had already been pierced by him, making a sharp and piercing sizzling sound on the plate.

The surroundings suddenly became quiet and everyone's eyes fell on him.

Without the annoying sound, Regulus felt relieved for a short time and put on a fake apologetic smile. "Sorry, please continue. I feel a little unwell."

He was going to find the antidote to his addiction, and he was going to meet that boy.

Remus at the Gryffindor table had a poor appetite. He only took a few bites of the food in front of him before handing it all to James Potter.

James Potter did not mind, he fed Lily many of the delicious things on his plate, and now this "timely rain" was just enough to fill his still empty stomach.

A touching slap was given on Remus' back. The touch was no longer as sharp as when they first met. The thin layer of back muscles showed the strength of the young boy.

"Good brother, don't be sad. When I come back from Christmas, I will steal the invisibility cloak from home. Then you can break into Wen Xiu's dormitory with Sirius every night without any problem!"

Lily beside him had a gloomy face and pinched the soft flesh on his waist hard, "James Potter! What nonsense are you talking about! You are still thinking of letting Remus and the other two raid Wenxiu's dormitory at night!" James Potter almost choked on the food in his mouth.

Stared at by Lily's dangerous gaze, James Potter picked up a glass of pumpkin juice and drank the food, shaking his head and waving his hands, "No, no, absolutely not, I was just kidding."

On the surface he appeared to be well-behaved and obedient, but when he saw the dark and lonely mood in Remus' eyes, he had already made up his mind in his heart that for the happiness of his two good brothers, he must bring the invisibility cloak.

He patted Remus' back twice comfortingly and said no more.

"Make sure Sirius and Remus keep this a secret. If Lily knew about this, she would be devastated."

James Potter, who already showed signs of being dominated by his wife at a young age, thought secretly.
