Every little wizard in Slytherin House has his own seat, which is the position that they have subtly selected and is the most suitable for them.

Even adult wizards who have graduated long ago will abide by the unwritten rules at the Slytherin table, observing their position among the crowd and finding where they should be.

This time, Wenxiu Lord did not go to the place where the head second-year student usually sat. There were too many people and it was too messy. Even the Slytherin group, which was short of people, now looked crowded.

A group of people at the long table were looking at the silver-haired boy with what they thought were obscure eyes, their gazes fixed on his and Severus' clasped hands, with a mixture of inquiry and curiosity, probably wanting to see if he really had an 'open' relationship as the Hogwarts gossip said.

There were also some people whose eyes were filled with ambition, surprise and obscenity. Most of them were people I didn't know and had never met.

Glancing coldly at those guys who only had mating in their minds, the silver-haired boy glanced around the long table, trying to find two empty seats next to each other at the end of the table.

Unfortunately, all the seats were full, and those sitting at the end believed that he would sit in the front row, and no one was willing to stand up and give him a seat.

There were plenty of empty seats in the front, but Wenxiu Lord didn't want to go at all. He just wanted to have a good meal.

That cold and sticky gaze seemed to have noticed that Wenxiu Lord was avoiding him and became even more unscrupulous.

This made Wenxiu Lord even more reluctant to move forward. He even began to boldly speculate that if he dared to take Severus' hand and sit in front now, the owner of that gaze would condescend to walk down from the professor's seat with his long legs, sit next to him and start a conversation with him.

Wenxiu Lord doesn't want to chat with the bald snake demon now, because he will have nightmares. Too many nightmares will affect his sleep, and he won't be able to grow taller!

Wenxiu Lord had now begun to consider the possibility of taking Severus directly to the kitchen to find food.

Tom Riddle, who always wore a mask in newspapers and in public, was now staring at Vincent Lord with interest, wanting to see where he would choose to sit.

He didn't realize that he wore the mask because he hated his face, but was misunderstood by Wenxiu Lord as meaning that he was now disfigured to the point where he couldn't face people.

At the Slytherin table, the Malfoys and the Blacks were sitting in the front row. When Vincius Lord stepped into the hall, Lucius and Regulus kept their eyes on him.

Seeing the silver-haired boy standing there in a dilemma, the two thought that Wenxiu Lord didn't like socializing while dining, so he didn't know where to sit.

Lucius resisted the urge to stand up, his grey eyes fixed on Wenxiu Lord, hoping that he would sit next to him in the empty seat that had been reserved for him long ago.

Regulus and Walburga Black exchanged a few words in a low voice, then stood up and walked towards the two men, becoming another focal point among the Slytherin crowd.

"Wen Xiu."

Just when Wenxiu Lord was struggling, Regulus came to the two of them, "It's Regulus, what's wrong?"

Regulus glanced at the crowd nonchalantly, taking note of the faces of those who had looked at the boy with dirty thoughts in their eyes, and looked at the two people in front of him with a smile.

"Lucius Malfoy and I have reserved two seats for you and Mr. Snape up front."

Severus noticed that the palm holding his wrist paused, understood his dilemma, and took the initiative to speak, "Wen Xiu, there are too many people here, let's go back to the dormitory to eat."

This proposal made Wenxiu Lord's heart beat for a second. Just as he was about to agree to reject Regulus' invitation, he heard Regulus say, "I also want to ask about my brother's situation."

In the professor's chair, a handsome and somewhat evil-looking boy quietly tugged at his mother's sleeve under the table. After the woman bent down, he pointed at the silver-haired boy and whispered in her ear, "Mother, is he the Wenxiu Lord that father often mentioned?"

The woman rarely saw her precocious son like this, and she liked his reliance on her. She smiled and nodded, "Yes, he is Wenxiu Lord. Is he the same as what you saw in the newspaper?"

The boy's father, who was sitting next to the woman, tapped the table in front of them seriously, "Don't behave like this in public, little Barty."

The curiosity in Barty Crouch Jr.'s eyes faded, turning into the mature calmness that his father most expected to see, "Okay, father."

After the man looked away with satisfaction and talked to other people, Barty Crouch Jr.'s eyes showed undisguised disgust for his father.

His eyes once again fell on the silver-gray figure walking towards the front row of the Slytherin table. Barty Crouch Jr. licked the corner of his lips with the tip of his tongue, and the disgust and irritation in his heart were replaced by excitement.

He will go to school next year and will be able to see this silver-haired boy whom his father praises every day. I wonder what kind of expression his father will have if he ruins this boy?

When Barty Crouch Jr. thought of the expression that might appear on his face, he couldn't help but tremble with excitement.

This lunch felt like torture to Wenxiu Lord. He never talked about business at the dinner table because it affected his appetite and his brain's thinking.

Now sitting in the first row, I have to chat with Regulus while also talking to Lucius sitting opposite me from time to time.

The parents of both sides didn't know what was going on. Didn't they know the rule of not talking after eating? They did it very well, saying nothing and not knowing how to control their son.

Wenxiu Lord now particularly hoped that Severus would spray venom with a dark face at this time and tell him not to talk while eating.

But Severus never interfered with him in such situations, which made Wenxiu Lord feel a little uncomfortable.

Fortunately, Tom Riddle did not really come down to talk to him as Wenxiu Lord had expected, otherwise Wenxiu Lord felt that he would probably be choked by his ugly appearance and would not be able to eat a single bite.

Lucius noticed that the silver-haired boy hadn't touched the food in front of him, and frowned slightly, "Wen Xiu, you have a game in the afternoon, you need to eat more to replenish your energy."

Wenxiu Lord had a wry smile on his face and said something perfunctory, but his hands did not show any intention of moving.

The house-elves of Lord Manor were ordered by Wenxiu Lord not to come to Hogwarts to prepare food today. The silver-haired boy, who had not eaten Western food for a long time, felt that his picky eating habit had come back again. Looking at the steak on the plate in front of him, he couldn't eat a single bite.

It’s not that it tastes bad, it just doesn’t taste good.

Severus, who had filled his stomach quickly and elegantly and was about to leave with Vince Lord, frowned when he heard the news and turned to look at Vince Lord, but noticed that the boy had only taken a few bites of his steak. He sighed in his heart and put the dessert in front of him.

"I don't like sweets."

Wenxiu Lord had already eaten up the dessert in front of him. When he saw Severus put his portion in front of him, the silver-haired boy, who understood what he meant, blinked at him with emotion.

Seeing that he looked saved, Severus raised the corners of his expressionless face.

Regulus swallowed the last bite of steak, breaking the delicate atmosphere between the two of them, as if no third person could interfere.

"Isn't Wen Xiu a substitute?"

Vincius Lord put down the dessert spoon in his hand and glanced at Abraxas Malfoy, who was standing beside Lucius and looked so bad that he was totally different from before.

"Lucius is busy today, and I just wanted to test my level, so it's my turn."

"You have to cheer me up this afternoon."

Regulus turned to look at the silver-haired boy, and handed the dessert in front of him to the boy with a faint smile on his lips.

"Okay, I'll cheer you on."

After lunch, Wenxiu Lord was dragged by Severus away from the crowd who wanted to talk to him.

Before leaving the hall, Wenxiu Lord glanced at Remus and the others who were still dining at the Gryffindor table, grabbed Severus, and led them to an empty corner of the corridor on the fourth floor.

Severus folded his arms and leaned against the wall, standing in the shadows and looking at the boy in the sunlight. "What happened just now?"

Vinciu Lord waved his wand and checked the time, then walked into the shadows and pulled Severus out, patting him where he was leaning against the wall and shaking him clean again.

"It's just that something happened at the Malfoy family, and Lucius can't play. Look at you, you're covered in dust."

"Oh, I don't know what kind of situation could happen to the noble pure-blood Malfoy family that would prevent Lucius Malfoy from even playing a game..."

Thinking of the true facts that Wenxiu Lord had told him about that man, Severus trailed off and grabbed Wenxiu Lord's shoulders with both hands, "Is it him?"

"It seems that Mr. Snape is very smart."

At the corner of the corridor, Abraxas Malfoy walked out, his face still showing an arrogant and noble look that was completely inconsistent with his current physical condition.

Severus stepped forward cautiously, protecting Vince Lord behind him, and quickly drew his wand and pointed it at Abraxas Malfoy.

The platinum man spread his hands, showing the two that he was harmless, "You are indeed worthy of being the Lord family's 'best friend'."

Vincent Lord sensed the sarcasm in Abraxas Malfoy's words, coughed awkwardly a few times, then reached out and gently pressed the wrist of Severus' hand that was holding the wand.

"Severus, I asked Mr. Malfoy to come here."
