Chapter 91 Legilimency

When Alison heard her father's gentle voice, her eyes were already empty and her mind was wandering.

At this moment, he looks like a little fool.

"..."

Dumbledore patted her head.

"Alison, don't forget the original reason why you learned the dark arts."

Alison thought for a moment, wondering what her father, who never liked the dark arts, was up to.

“…Original intention?”

She asked back in a slow voice.

Dumbledore looked at his daughter gently, guiding her, trying to make her understand that strength is used to protect.

He thought about it seriously last night and realized that it was a bit too late to stop Alison, who was obviously proficient in using the Unforgivable Curses.

"It's to become stronger, isn't it?"

Alison blinked, and remembered what her father said when she first met him, so she changed her words decisively.

She actually meant what she said this time, otherwise why didn't she major in Herbology in the game and be a brutal and efficient Hufflepuff, releasing Chinese and kale to bite people every day.

Badgers are the scariest creatures. They don't care about life or death and will just fight if they are not convinced. They eat snakes like they are eating spicy strips.

“…No, I just think dark magic is cool.”

Dumbledore was slightly stunned as he looked at the sincere little girl in front of him. For a moment, his bright blue eyes could not tell whether what the naughty child said was true or false.

Alison yawned, looking lazy and wanton.

"Just tell me if Gellert's fire shield is cool or not!"

"It's called 'A Fire in the Forbidden Forest, and the Headmaster Falls in Love with Me'."

Dumbledore looked away, touched his long beard uncomfortably, and returned to his seat.

“…He’s really handsome.”

"He was expelled from school at the beginning, fell in love at first sight with a British country boy, and after breaking up, he began his legendary life as the European devil."

"After escaping prison, the beautiful and charming principal's father's old house caught fire and wanted to reconcile with the devil father"

"Why the British headmaster who came out as gay prefers the German career-oriented scumbag"

A string of strange headlines flashed through Alison's mind.

I feel like I'm a little more spiritual today.

Dumbledore saw that she was distracted and tapped the table lightly.

"What are you thinking about?"

Alison blinked and stared at him, with an amusing prank idea in her mind and a gleefully wicked smile on her face.

"If you have the ability, use Legilimency to see for yourself! I allow it, this is a rare opportunity!"

Dumbledore smiled helplessly at the little girl who seemed to have no concept of privacy.

In fact, he seldom used Legilimency, and would not use it on students at school, even if they could not detect it - in the eyes of an elder who was older, more experienced, and good at careful observation, he could basically see through what the children were thinking at a glance.

"…I can't use Legilimency on a girl anytime you give me permission."

Alison was blank for a moment and snorted.

Then, she stared fiercely at her father's blue eyes, and used Legilimency to actively invade her father's thoughts and memories.

Alison's consciousness was somewhat rampant as she plunged into the vast memories of her elders.

Unexpectedly, Dumbledore did not use the brain block to resist the invasion of the cub, but indulged her curiosity and allowed her to explore.

The scene in the principal's office flickered before my eyes, interweaving and flickering with the movie-like scenes in my spiritual world.

It was as if the whole world was divided into two layers, and she was wavering back and forth between the spiritual world and the real world.

There are various pictures in front of me:

There was the familiar principal’s office, with different professors talking to Dad;

There were various public occasions at school where students greeted and talked to him;

There was the Ministry of Magic, the Supreme Wizarding Court, the Wizengamot, and many adult wizards of all kinds gathered there;

There were strangers, like in the private residence of a wizard, or perhaps friends, some equally old wizards who studied, corresponded, and laughed with him in a relaxed and happy manner...

Those rich emotions, like water waves, gently lifted Alison's consciousness without any harm. But she was not interested in those daily memories, and went straight to the things that were treasured by the years when she was young.

To put it bluntly without the artistic color - she tried to dig up the memories of her father and daddy in the barn when they were young, wanting to watch a love action movie and gossip.

Dumbledore, who had been calm and gentle, even smiling, sensed this thought and immediately used Occlumency to drive out his daughter's consciousness.

There was still a hollowness in his eyes that was shielded from emotion by Occlumency, but his face and ears were slightly red.

"Alison!"

He can indulge the naughty Alison to understand his past experiences and emotions, and even his acquaintance, understanding and separation with Gellert...

But that doesn't mean he can accept Alison trying to watch such a large-scale private memory!

No matter how openly one feels about memories of past relationships, a normal adult cannot tolerate an underage kid watching a romantic action movie in his mind.

Alison curled her lips and turned the tables: "Lululu, you stingy guy!"

Dumbledore was rarely angry.

He frowned, stood up, opened the window of the principal's office to let in some fresh air, trying to blow away the heat that was rushing to his face.

Alison lay on the table, tilting her head curiously, observing her father's expression.

Dumbledore turned around and glared at her. His bright, sharp blue eyes vaguely showed the beauty that he had caught a glimpse of when he was young.

"…Don't use Legilimency to look at other people's memories anymore!"

Alison drawled, very unconcerned.

"Got it~"

Dumbledore put the book "Advanced Dark Magic Revealed" back on the bookshelf and no longer had the heart to educate Alison about the dark arts.

He sat down again and lectured with a stern face, completely losing the indulgence he had at the beginning.

"Alison, you should understand that it is unethical to pry into other people's privacy!"

Alison blinked those same blue eyes, trying to distract him, to get away with it, to calm him down.

“…Teacher, I’m hungry, I want to eat.”

Dumbledore paused for a moment, sighed helplessly, and tapped the table with his Elder Wand, as if to give instructions to the house-elf.

Soon, a plate with hot honey pie appeared on the table and was handed to Alison by Dumbledore.

Alison took the honey pie and nibbled it slowly, drinking it with the honey tea on Dumbledore's table, looking very obedient.

"Thank you, teacher~"

Dumbledore felt a little better when he saw how well-behaved and obedient she was, and then he began to arrange study tasks for her for the day.

His eyes lingered for a moment on the Slytherin first-year timetable.

This morning was Professor Snape's class, but Alison arrived at the principal's office early and had no intention of going to class at all.

Dumbledore stared at this problem student with a serious look on his face.

"Alison, no skipping classes."

Alison is as bad as a piece of meat.

"Let our dean have the guts to deduct points! I want to see, after deducting Slytherin's points, who will feel more distressed, him as the dean or me as a freshman!"
