HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 80 Swear

Snape's eyes narrowed and he turned to look at Harry, who was looking at them blankly.

Alison kept smiling and even winked at him playfully, just like Dumbledore's little gesture.

Snape's face was gloomy and he felt powerless in his heart, knowing that Alison had already taken advantage of him.

Finally he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and chose to compromise.

"I swear."

Alison smiled with a delighted wickedness and stretched out her right hand with a grin.

Snape stared at the little red-haired wizard with his dark eyes, was silent for a moment, then stretched out his right hand and shook hands with her.

Alison gave Harry a playful wink.

"Mr. Potter, please point your wand to where we shake hands."

Harry had no idea what they were talking about, but he did as they were told.

Alison pursed her lips and smiled, then politely followed the magic to ask about the content that had been carefully considered.

"You swear not to voluntarily reveal what you know about Alison, right?"

Snape's eyes were cold, he stared at Alison, and finally spoke through gritted teeth, the sound seemed to be squeezed out from his throat and teeth.

"Yes."

A thin, blinding tongue of fire burst from the tip of Harry's wand, like a red-hot wire, wrapping itself around their clasped hands, leaving a trail of fire that sealed an unbreakable bond.

After the flames disappeared, Snape immediately withdrew his hand with a grim expression.

Alison chuckled.

"Dear Dean, you are too lax. I bought out most of the potion materials that were in short supply outside."

"I expected that I would blow up your potion material cabinet and even be put in detention at your place. The reason why I was delayed for so long was that I had to be reasonably angered by you so that the teacher would not notice."

Snape's face suddenly turned gloomy, and he said in a low voice: "Have you planned this from the beginning?"

Alison happily twirled her long hair with her fingertips, looking quite proud and excited, showing off to him.

"Isn't it very Albus-like?"

Snape clenched his wand, trying to suppress his anger, and squeezed out another sentence: "You are really... terrible!"

Naturally, there would be no other living creatures in the habitat of the eight-eyed giant spider group.

It was nearly midnight and it was so quiet that not even the sound of insects could be heard. Entire silence rang out. Only the corpses of giant spiders, whose eyes were open in death, bore witness to the words and actions of the three wizards.

Harry, who was standing next to them, pursed his lips and felt that there was something wrong between Alison and Professor Snape.

Snape continued to ask in a hoarse and cold voice.

"…Why?"

Alison was calm and gentle, but she had a feeling like a chess player looking at his pieces, confident and arrogant.

"It will help to take away Albus's eye on me in Slytherin - he must have made you pay special attention to me."

Snape remained silent. He had indeed received orders from Dumbledore to pay special attention to Alison.

He felt the pressure he had faced with Dumbledore before—everything was planned out. The planner hidden in the dark looked at them indifferently, pushing everything forward silently.

Greene and Dumbledore are exactly the same kind of people. Hidden behind their absurd behavior is a careful calculation for the sake of profit.

Harry couldn't help but ask, "What are you... talking about?"

Alison explained briskly, deliberately making it sound light and simple.

"My dear teacher, Headmaster Dumbledore, ordered the dean to keep an eye on me. I didn't want to be stared at by an adult, so I set a trap and asked him to swear an oath."

Harry felt a little ridiculous, and he couldn't help asking, "Aren't you afraid that he will retaliate against you?"

Alison pursed her lips and smiled.

"He cannot actively reveal any information he knows about Alison to the outside world."

"He probably can't even mention the penalty points and confinement now, after all, this requires publishing the exact violation."

Harry was a little stunned, and he couldn't help looking at Snape. The latter had a gloomy face, but did not refute this.

Snape stared at Alison and suddenly sneered, "Do you think you can rest easy like this?"

Having achieved her goal, Alison tilted her head, lost interest in playing, and looked up and down at her father's tool indifferently. When her father was not around, she was still patient with many things.

"I don't care if Albus finds something wrong with the fire scar - even if he does, he can't replace you. And setting you up was just a small challenge I threw at Albus."

Snape's eyes were sinister: "You are really a lunatic."

Alison didn't care at all and didn't even consider her dean as a human being.

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Challenge Letter."

Snape sneered: "I want to see how you plan to win this challenge!"

Alison retorted, "Anyway, whether we win or lose, only the pawns will get hurt."

Snape stared at her and cursed word by word: "You'd better pray that you don't lose too badly."

Alison smiled.

"Maybe there won't be a loser between Albus and me? After all, we both want different things. Maybe I just want to play chess with him and don't care about winning or losing?"

Snape sneered and mocked, obviously not believing this statement.

“…How hypocritical.”

Alison tilted her head innocently: "Thank you for the compliment. Although I think that as the head of Slytherin, you are not a sincere person."

Snape's eyes were cold, he stared at Alison, and his tone was sarcastic.

“…I’m really not a good person.”

"But I won't scheme against a child like you do."

Alison didn't care and tolerated the tool man with good temper.

"Is this the self-consolation of a loser? In fact, top wizards are precocious and gifted since childhood. Your vision and strength are destined to prevent you from understanding us."

Snape snorted.

"Yeah, after all, how can a failure like me understand a genius among geniuses like you?"

Alison nodded and simply followed his words.

"It's good that you know. It's good to be self-aware."

Snape was choked by her shamelessness and his face turned blue. He tried hard to suppress his anger.

"I warn you, if you dare to hurt other students, I will never let you go!"

"Of course, for Albus' sake! In fact, I am only threatening you. Even if you don't agree to swear, I won't actually harm his appendage."

"Accessories? They are living people, not objects."

Alison blinked her blue eyes playfully, imitating Dumbledore.

"This identity is much more important to me than a living person."

"In my eyes, you are also a baby who has never killed anyone~ Dear baby Sif~"

Snape was disgusted: "...Shut up!"
