HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 76 Missing Materials

Snape was so angry that his face turned blue. He looked at the potion storage cabinet that was blown into a mess and cursed in his heart.

Fortunately, this was not his more private storage room, which contained many controlled potion materials that needed to be applied for and precious high-level potions that he brewed.

And every time Alison put the processed basic material slugs, she just stored them in the more ordinary public potion storage cabinet. There were potion materials needed by students in class, as well as finished potion homework handed in.

Snape suppressed his anger, cleaned up the destroyed storage cabinet, and then began to reorganize the potion materials.

Many of the missing materials need to be re-ordered, otherwise the classes will be affected. These materials are needed urgently, but they are not precious or troublesome. The most important of these are the fifth and seventh year parts, because the students have to prepare for the wizard level exams.

As he sorted things out, he cursed: "This damn crazy girl! Even giant monsters can't be as troublesome as her!"

Snape stayed up all night to sort out the usable parts of the storage cabinet, which made his already tiring teaching work even more difficult.

The next day, the poor Potions Professor, who had worked hard all night, drank a bottle of vitality tonic and came to Dumbledore's office early in the morning to report to him that the storage cabinet had been blown up.

In just a few days, Dumbledore received a second complaint from a professor:

After listening to this, he thought of Alison who was still unilaterally upset and rebellious, and his head started to hurt.

"This child..."

Snape snorted coldly: "She is simply a devil!"

No Slytherin student had ever dared to do this to the Snake King.

Dumbledore smiled helplessly - he experienced once again the feeling of a parent being complained about because his child got into trouble.

"Severus, she's just a child."

Snape's expression became even uglier: "Child?! Which child can explode with thunderbolts?!"

Dumbledore winked playfully, trying to confuse him.

"She is indeed a little naughty, but that's also what makes her cute."

Snape looked disgusted and sneered, "Cute?! Dumbledore, have you finally become blinded by old age?"

"Come on, Severus, don't get so excited. Alison is just being a little rebellious."

Dumbledore smiled and comforted the poor Potions Professor, then stood up and patted him on the shoulder: "Okay, let's end this matter here."

Snape nodded grimly.

Dumbledore chatted with Snape for a few more words and then let him go.

After Snape left, Dumbledore rubbed his brow and sighed.

"This child...is becoming increasingly difficult to discipline."

……

Snape came to a potion material shop in Hogsmeade village, ready to buy materials from the owner according to the compiled list.

But the boss said with embarrassment that some of the potion materials had been sold out and were temporarily out of stock.

The basic materials are sold out?

Snape frowned: "...How long will it take to replenish it?"

The boss apologized repeatedly to the Potions Master and regular customer, then answered carefully while observing his unpleasant expression.

"It will take at least two weeks."

The boss secretly groaned in his heart.

Previously, all the potion materials Hogwarts needed were ordered in advance in a fixed batch during the summer vacation. Master Snape himself would at most purchase some high-level potion materials on a temporary basis, and they were often not needed in a hurry. What was going on today?

Snape was annoyed, but helpless.

He continued to go to the potion material shop in Diagon Alley. There was still some stock here, but the quantity was not enough, and it would take a while to restock.

So Snape just bought all the remaining materials and didn't order any more.

There was still about a quarter of the amount of nocturnal herbs that were in short supply. If he wanted to get them quickly, it would be more convenient to go to the Forbidden Forest to collect them. Moreover, if he went to the Forbidden Forest to collect herbs, he could also check if there were other rare materials. Anyway, it was not his first time to go there.

……

On the other side, flying lessons.

The Slytherin group with fewer students and the Gryffindor group with more students were having classes together again.

For first graders who are not allowed to bring broomsticks according to regulations, this is one of the classes most of the little animals look forward to.

Madam Hooch, who was in charge of the class, was a very strict witch. She taught the freshmen how to ride a broom correctly.

This witch with short gray hair and sharp yellow eyes like an eagle has a very legendary experience: she once crashed into a Muggle's anti-aircraft gun while flying and survived, but she herself thinks it is a shame.

From the way he stretched out his right hand to call the broken broom at his feet to rise, it was clear that he had some talent for flying. Only a few people could make the broom obey him, while the brooms of many others just rolled over or remained motionless.

Some of the freshmen were riding a broom for the first time and seemed a little nervous, but Madam Hooch did not get angry. She just patiently taught the students how to hold the broom tightly and how to balance their bodies.

As expected, an accident happened. Neville Longbottom was so nervous that his broom suddenly flew straight out, like a flying monkey on fire, quickly moving away from the ground.

It was hard to imagine that the school's old and obsolete sweeping series broom could fly at such a speed. It was so fast that even the experienced Madam Hooch couldn't stop it in time - in a sense, perhaps Neville was quite talented in flying.

Alison casually pulled out her wand and used a fifth-grade spell: "Shock reduction and speed stop!"

The spell hit Neville, and although he had fallen from the air, his speed gradually slowed down and he landed steadily on the ground.

Madam Hooch walked quickly to Neville and checked if he was injured.

Fortunately, I was just a little scared and not injured.

The flying lessons continued smoothly.

The strict flying professor gave Slytherin extra points and praised Alison with satisfaction: "Well done, Miss Green."

Draco was still laughing at Ron, who was so clumsy that he was hit on the head by his broom, and was secretly competing with Harry, who was also a good flyer.

Harry looked at Alison. Compared to the little snakes who had a clear understanding of the horror of the little witch, the little animals from other colleges were more curious about the red-haired freshman who had invaded their common room.

Harry didn't have a good impression of Alison because of her discrimination against Hagrid and her threats and strangling of him, but judging from her previous apology and her current rescue, this Slytherin girl didn't seem that bad.

And Draco who had comforted him before...

It seems that Slytherin is not that bad.

The red-haired little wizard had little interest in the slow flying class. He just sat quietly and performed the flying moves as required.

Soon, time passed until the get out of class was over.

The students left in twos and threes.

Alison did not return to the dormitory, but walked upstairs of the castle like a Gryffindor freshman, apparently going to the library.
