HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 55 Gunter

I strolled leisurely along the path in Godric's Hollow with the sunset behind me, and gradually arrived at Bathilda's house.

From afar, Alison saw Dumbledore reading a book and waiting at the door, hidden by the flowers and trees in the courtyard.

Dumbledore seemed to have been waiting for a long time. When he saw Alison coming back, a gentle smile appeared on his face.

Alison couldn't suppress her thoughts of missing him, so she rushed over to hug him tightly, rubbing against him coquettishly, and felt the reassuring atmosphere.

Dumbledore was startled by the sudden warm hug and coquettishness, and when he came to his senses, he gently touched Alison's head.

Alison announced nonchalantly, lifting her chin slightly with pleasure.

"I can't wait for school to start!"

Dumbledore seemed amused.

"Then I look forward to your performance in the academy this year."

Alison's eyes turned pleasant and provocative again as she looked at the old principal, declaring war once again.

"Just wait till I make the professor and my classmates obey me!"

Dumbledore was not angry. He smiled calmly and patiently and replied, "Then I'll have to see what you can do."

Alison started to act coquettishly again, twisting and turning like a milk worm candy, and began to become more and more demanding.

"I don't want to take tutoring anymore, at least not tomorrow... I'll probably have to ask you for a day off."

Dumbledore maintained his good temper and asked her: "Why?"

Alison smiled softly and sweetly, with a hint of mystery and pride: "Because I have a little secret, and it involves a nice treasure... I have to take a day off to dig it out."

Dumbledore responded with a playful wink.

"Well, you can take a day off, but you have to tell me what the treasure is first."

Alison turned her face away, clearly showing her refusal.

Dumbledore sighed helplessly: "Okay, let's not talk about this for now. But before that, let me ask you a question."

Alison looked up. "Huh?"

Dumbledore suddenly looked serious and stared at her closely: "Where did you go just now?"

Alison's eyes moved slightly, thinking about where she went wrong. She did walk around Diagon Alley just now, but she didn't stay there all the time today.

Dumbledore's eyes were sharp, as if he had seen through her lies: "Don't try to deceive me."

Alison's expression was natural and she didn't change her expression. She just concealed the key point and added lightly: "I went out to the Leaky Cauldron to hang out in London. It wasn't very fun so I came back."

Dumbledore stared at her, as if trying to determine the truth of this statement.

Alison chuckled, looking calm, and expressed her doubts and reminders in a nonchalant tone: "What's wrong? I just went out to play as usual during my break. It's summer vacation now..."

Dumbledore seemed to believe her words and smiled: "That's good, I thought you were lost."

Alison glanced at him and asked casually, "Did you go to Diagon Alley to see me?"

Dumbledore paused as he gently stroked her long red hair.

He did not deny it.

"Yes, I'm a little worried about you."

Although Alison's magic level is high, she is only an eleven-year-old child after all, and she has just arrived in the British wizarding world.

However, it is nothing to just lie for fun, the most important point is...

Alison blinked blankly: "...Don't you know that my magic level is okay..."

Dumbledore remained calm and did not intend to reveal her abnormality.

There was a faint, almost imperceptible aura of dark magic about Alison.

Alison, who was speaking, suddenly lowered her voice and stopped, curled her lips, as if she had noticed this, and naturally provoked him silently with her eyes.

The little wizard was the source of magic power, so the trajectory of her magic power was naturally complex and chaotic. In addition, she had always lived in the game world and played stand-alone mode, so she didn't think it was a problem even though she could see the magic power overflowing with her naked eyes.

However, apparently, there are still some aftereffects from the previous Obscurus riots...

Dumbledore chose to ignore that provocative look: "Let's go in first."

Alison went in holding his arm.

Grindelwald was drinking tea in the living room. He looked up when he heard the noise: "…He's back."

He saw Alison and his eyes flashed with a hint of amusement.

Alison was like a child who had just finished shopping in Diagon Alley. She announced again in a cheerful and childish manner, "Yes! I'm back!"

Grindelwald looked at Alison with interest: "…So what did you buy in Diagon Alley?"

Alison blinked and said confidently, "I didn't buy anything. I went to the Muggle world to have a sandwich set, and then I talked to the owner of the potion material shop in Diagon Alley about ordering materials during school."

Grindelwald gave Alison a meaningful look.

Alison smiled back.

The old devil didn't ask any more questions and lowered his head to take a sip of tea.

Alison's eyes moved and she turned her head to look at Dumbledore.

The old headmaster felt Alison's gaze and smiled kindly at the little wizard out of habit.

Alison immediately came up with another evil idea and tried to probe with a smile, keen on irritating her father.

"Dear teacher, do you know anything about the Gaunt family?"

Being asked this suddenly, Dumbledore's expression changed uncontrollably: "Why do you bring this up suddenly?"

Of course he knew the Gaunt family.

When Voldemort suddenly appeared and formed a force called Death Eaters, and began to stir up trouble in Britain, he recognized that it was Tom Riddle, a student who had disappeared after graduation.

He could no longer ignore Tom's ambitions and evil, so while organizing the Order of the Phoenix to resist, he also began to investigate Tom's origins and past.

Combining the impressions of the members of the small group that Voldemort gathered during his school days with his knowledge of Parseltongue, he naturally found out Tom's background: the child of Merope Gaunt, the daughter of the Gaunt family, who drugged the Muggle Tom Riddle.

Alison got the information she wanted from his reaction. She pursed her lips, smiled slyly and said, "It seems like there is. Or it's about something more specific..."

Dumbledore said nothing, but just looked at Alison deeply.

Alison looked up with an innocent look on her face, not hiding her intentions: "I want to visit there, but I can't find the exact location of Little Hangleton. You know, it's too remote."

Grindelwald said nothing, just watched them fight quietly.

Dumbledore lowered his eyes slightly and fell into deep thought.

In an instant, he thought about a lot, about the Gaunt family, about Voldemort, about his daughter Alison...purposes, plans, secrets...

He pondered for a moment.

"I can take you there."

Alison didn't rush to speak, but waited for his next words gracefully and calmly.

"…But before that, I hope you can tell me why you want to go to the Gaunt family?"

Hearing this, Alison was not surprised, she pursed her lips and smiled, decisively selling out a certain annoying senior.

“…The soul-restoring stone ring is there. I’m going to dig out that treasure.”

When the name of one of the Three Deathly Hallows came out, Dumbledore's eyes narrowed.

"Where did you know that?!"
