HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 201 Sacrifice

Turning his gaze away from the charred stone wall, Dumbledore calmly stared at Grindelwald and his daughter who were scourgeing the castle.

One secretly collected a large number of Inferi and reused them to create dangerous Skeleton Undeads. His spells to control the dead looked not very decent. One was a professor who deliberately provoked children, teasing them to attack and destroy the castle.

All in all, it's not a good thing.

If they continue like this, Hogwarts will be demolished by them sooner or later.

When he was young, Dumbledore was very open-minded and tolerant of Gale's abuse of the Dark Arts, which led to his expulsion from Durmstrang. After all, if Gale had not been expelled, they would not have met.

But now, as the headmaster of a school that was about to be demolished, Dumbledore found it difficult to look at it positively.

The old principal glared at his lover who was leaning on the stair railing and watching the show, as happy and wild as ever, and decided to deal with the naughty child first.

With tears in her eyes, Alison tried to stand in the front and protect the few skeletons she had.

"Then I only take two, is that okay?"

Even though he knew she was most likely pretending to be pitiful, Dumbledore hesitated for a moment but finally compromised.

"That's two, no more."

"Thank you dad!"

Allison cheered and hugged her father, kissed him on the cheek, then hurriedly took the twenty or so skeletons back to the dormitory in the cellar and locked up the extra skeletons.

As for the terrified little snake in the next dormitory who knew there were a bunch of skeletons and undead here...

She doesn't care anyway.

What's there to be afraid of cute skeletons? She would pick two to hold while sleeping every day.

Grindelwald looked down at her, raised his eyebrows and chuckled, "Al, you really indulge her."

"You too, stop it! Gale!" There was something like a warning in Dumbledore's voice.

Professor Grindelwald spread his hands and cunningly obeyed the headmaster.

"Well, now that you've spoken..."

……

Quidditch match, Slytherin versus Gryffindor.

The old headmaster briefly flipped through the book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", followed the out-of-control Bludger that was chasing Harry, and caught Dobby, the house-elf of the Malfoy family.

Different from Alison's disgust towards the uncommunicative Dobby, Dumbledore can see more of Dobby's yearning for freedom, bravery and kindness, and that he has been living in a world lacking love, but still has expectations for this world.

He has always had a unique understanding and tolerance for house-elves, so he did not blame Dobby for his behavior. He just let Dobby know that the crisis in the Chamber of Secrets had been resolved, and after communicating and comforting him, he let him go.

Alison raised her eyes to observe her father's expression and suppressed the thoughts in her eyes.

……

It's Christmas again.

The daily school life that was like a tribulation has finally come to an end. The little animals, with tears in their eyes, hurried home to enjoy a happy Christmas holiday away from the devil.

Anyway, the plot had completely collapsed, so Alison gave the two parents the remaining complete set of Harry Potter series. She couldn't wear out the woolen fabric she gave last year, so she didn't continue knitting.

Dumbledore, wearing a woolen sweater, unwrapped the gift with his slender fingers, picked out the last volume of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", and opened the last few chapters of the Battle of Hogwarts.

A life-and-death victory... those children who stayed behind to defend Hogwarts and sacrificed themselves in the end...

His bright blue eyes gradually became moist.

Although I had prepared myself mentally, I still couldn't help feeling sad when I actually read the contents of the prophecy book.

Many people were still noisy and quarrelsome before the holidays when they passed by him...

In the end, in order to protect more lives, they chose to stay and fight...

But those children are still so young and have not had time to enjoy life.

They should have enjoyed a peaceful campus life and a bright future.

Grindelwald, who was also reading the pages behind him, rested his chin on his shoulder, patted his back soothingly, and whispered soothing words.

"Don't be too sad, Al. The little devil is dead, and those things will not happen. Now, everyone is alive and happy."

As he spoke, the old devil bent his head and kissed the teardrop on the side of his face.

The old principal couldn't help but let out a faint smile: "Yes, everyone is still alive and well..."

This is enough.

Alison pulled the book out of his hand and read a passage in a sarcastic voice, as if making a calm and cruel judgment.

"I heard that he expressed regret when he was imprisoned alone in Nurmengard in his later years... Perhaps he lied to Voldemort to make up for it, to prevent Voldemort from getting the Elder Wand... or to prevent him from breaking into your grave?"

When Dumbledore heard this, his face froze. He felt his lover hugging him tighter. The friction between their woolen coats seemed to produce a faint static electricity that pricked his neck.

This self-deceiving clip is a public execution...

After listening to the part quietly, Dumbledore closed his eyes and did not look at the book. He just leaned in Gale's arms, silent, as if something was pulling at his heart.

He didn't want to hear any more.

After his death, Gale protected his grave, unwilling to live alone...

After two months of passionate love, it ended up like that.

My love and I both died in the high tower, but you and your heart will remain forever in the midsummer.

"..."

When he opened his eyes again, he stared at the flickering fireplace in front of him, wondering what he was thinking.

"Relax, that's not true." Grindelwald reached out and held his cold fingers, and kissed him on the forehead again, his tone light and unconcerned, "We are already married, and will always be happy."

That was just a prophecy that could never come true and would not be their true ending.

There will be no more regrets between them, and they will not miss each other anymore. On the contrary, they will spend the rest of their lives together and accompany each other forever.

Alison dropped her book and forced her way in between them, ruining the atmosphere and yelling at Dumbledore, very unhappy that she was not being noticed.

"father!"

Dumbledore sighed helplessly, reached out to rub her soft and smooth red hair, and patiently helped her braid it.

"Alison! Can't you be quiet for a moment?" Grindelwald's face turned black after being pushed away, and he suddenly had the urge to throw the little bastard into the fireplace.

He really didn't understand why the naughty kid was so noisy, full of energy every day, and liked to ruin the atmosphere, and cats and dogs hated him.

Looking at Alison's face that looked so much like Al's when he was young, he paused, but still held back, repeating in his mind that this was his and Al's only child.
