HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 147 Preparation before marriage

Floating out the hallway window to the garden, Alison furtively tried to find Dad and Daddy.

The two old fathers were still walking in the garden, holding hands, chatting from time to time, talking and laughing, and the atmosphere was warm and peaceful.

In the corner of the garden, the invisible Alison secretly planted a poisonous tentacle seed. The poisonous tentacle grew out under the stimulation of ancient magic, screaming, and shot out with its pitcher plant-like vines, attacking Grindelwald.

The two people in front were chatting and laughing, but suddenly, Grindelwald stopped sharply, pulled Dumbledore away, raised his hand and waved his wand, and a red spell repelled the poisonous tentacles.

The magical plant seemed to be more agile in reality. The poisonous tentacles instantly became like frightened little animals. After being attacked, they shrank back into the grass where Alison was hiding, and clung to their owner in a wronged manner.

Grindelwald narrowed his eyes, stepped closer, and ordered coldly: "Come out!"

Alison lifted her invisibility, pulled down the poisonous tentacle, and crawled out of the bush. The naughty kid was obviously not justified, but he was confident: "I'm just planting some flowers and plants..."

The old devil glared at the young wizard who wanted to embarrass him in front of Al: "Don't think I don't know what you were trying to do just now!"

Alison raised her eyebrows provocatively, made a smug face at her father, then ran to her father and took his other arm.

"Just now there was a portrait of an old wizard who called himself August, saying that I am now the heir to the Grindelwald family! I can kick you out!"

Grindelwald was stunned for a moment, then reacted.

"Auguste? The old fogey?"

Alison shook her head and immediately began to gossip about the portrait of her ancestors behind her back: "A peace-loving dark wizard... doesn't sound very good."

A descendant who knew more about the situation twitched his lips: "Who told you that he is a peace-loving person?"

The little red-haired wizard never mentioned her previous frightening behavior. She tilted her head slightly and blinked her eyes innocently.

"He himself said: Times have changed, and peace is the general trend~"

"...It seems that the old stubborn man has really become confused over the years."

Grindelwald had a subtle expression and decided to go visit August later.

A portrait is just a replica of a real person, including his or her memories and way of thinking. It can react to things in a similar way to the real person, but it shouldn't cause problems over time...

……

Alison's Plants vs. Wizards game plan fails miserably when no one wants to support her in growing biting kale, poisonous tentacles and mandrakes in her garden.

……

Over the course of a few days, owls flew hurriedly around Grindelwald Manor, delivering exquisite wedding invitations to old friends of the two newlyweds - or should be called that, because even though they were old, they were still newlyweds in terms of marriage.

Many wizards who received the invitation were surprised. After all, the duel between Grindelwald and Dumbledore in 1945 and the fact that Grindelwald was imprisoned in Nurmengard Prison by Dumbledore himself were all recorded in the history of magic. The two should have been at odds for decades.

As a notorious dark wizard, Grindelwald naturally had many enemies, while Dumbledore was always gentle and upright, with students and friends all over the wizarding world.

The guests were carefully discussed by both parties. Although it was a pity, they only chose those wizards who were neutral, had no hatred towards each other, and knew the inside story of the relationship between the two and were relieved about them getting back together.

Otherwise, if there is a blood feud, it will be impossible to send blessings calmly. Disrupting the wedding is a small matter, but giving one of the grooms an unforgivable curse will be a big deal.

Although neither of them cares about worldly opinions, Dumbledore would not stab someone in the heart for the sake of his wedding.

Among them was Newt Scamander, one of Dumbledore's favorite students and the famous Magizoologist who stood up to Grindelwald.

Newt's sister-in-law, his classmate and friend, Leta Lestrange, was devoured by Grindelwald's fiendish fire while trying to save the Scamander brothers from Grindelwald's fire shield. Newt's brother Theseus also died in a subsequent action against Grindelwald.

Normally, although Dumbledore didn't mind talking about him, he would never let his old students who were currently living happily and had formed a happy family come and stay in the same room with Gale.

As for Aberforth... Dumbledore just sighed and didn't send a heart-wrenching invitation. He simply wrote a letter to inform him that he was getting married and didn't expect to get his brother's blessing.

Although he estimated that the letter would probably be crumpled up and torn into pieces and thrown into the fireplace - even if the fireplace was not needed in the summer, Aberforth would be happy to light it once.

Under normal circumstances, Dumbledore would not have married Grindelwald, even though he never hated Gale for the conflict that year, and only blamed himself from beginning to end. There were too many loves that could only rot in the tower at the top of the world, waiting for death to reunite them.

The reason for the marriage, in addition to Gail's expectation and the fact that he could feel the love between them after a year of close contact, was also largely due to Alison's desire for a family.

As a father, he hopes that Alison can have a happy childhood and a happy family, instead of living in the shadow since childhood like him.

Alison leaned over curiously to see her father write the name on the invitation. The special handwriting with circles within circles was recognizable as Dumbledore's.

"Are you going to use anti-aging agents at the wedding?"

Dumbledore smiled and said, "No, we plan to appear in front of everyone in our truest form."

Alison glanced at her father with disdain, looked at his sparse hair, and her silent mockery was more powerful than words.

As a result, a certain old man was extremely thick-skinned. He raised his eyebrows, ignored Alison's disgust, and leaned over to kiss his Al.

Allison watched as her father returned the kiss and smiled, tilting his head and blinking his beautiful blue eyes at her.

The red-haired little wizard who was hit hard covered his eyes and fled.

"You two!"

The two childish old men burst into laughter.

……

The wedding venue was beautifully decorated.

There are long purple carpets, exquisite golden chairs with red cushions, and large purple roses entwined on the garden pillars.

Neither family had suitable young people, but old friends from both sides had made an appointment in advance to bring their young people to act as waiters and help guide seats, so that they could show up at this extraordinary banquet for both the host and the guests.

The handsome young men and women changed into the same simple white robes decorated with gold thread, and followed the elders to the host's house to greet and bless them, then dispersed to familiarize themselves with the venue and tasks, and whispered politely and lively to get to know each other.
