HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 141 The Magic Stone

Seeing her father nod, Alison smiled sweetly and began to press forward.

"What about Dad and Daddy's wedding?"

Caught off guard, Dumbledore spat out a mouthful of tea and choked and coughed.

"Cough cough cough cough cough..."

Alison used a cough-relieving spell on him, and he recovered, not knowing whether to laugh or cry: "Alison..."

The young wizard leaned against the sofa and blinked: "No way? Voldemort's problems have been mostly solved!"

Dumbledore sighed with mixed feelings and rubbed Alison's head.

Alison puffed her cheeks and stared at him angrily: "You two! You both have the fruit of my love! What are you still hesitating about?"

The corners of Dumbledore's mouth twitched. He always felt that Alison's tone was not like that of a daughter, but rather like that of an old mother who was eager to get married.

Alison changed her approach to a softer one, lowering her head sadly and pursing her lips tightly.

"Are you going to keep doing this and make me a child from a single-parent family forever?"

Dumbledore suddenly felt a great deal of pressure - he couldn't bear the responsibility of being accused of this crime. He sighed and finally compromised.

"Okay, okay, let's talk it over."

Alison was worried and tried to spread alarmist remarks, but it seemed that she used too much force, causing her father's mouth to twitch.

"What if my classmates call me a wild child at Hogwarts?"

There was a sudden movement at the door of the headmaster's office, and Professor McGonagall was brought up by the stairs. When she came in, she saw the mess in the headmaster's office and was slightly stunned.

Dumbledore coughed lightly and explained vaguely: "There was a little accident just now."

Professor McGonagall frowned, but the key point now was what Miss Granger had told her before, about someone stealing the Philosopher's Stone and Harry going to stop it.

The old professor rushed over there anxiously, but only saw Professor Quirrell's body. Harry was gone, so he came to the headmaster's office to ask.

She avoided the messy objects on the ground and looked at Dumbledore seriously: "Albus, someone just broke into the restricted area on the fourth floor! Several children went to stop them!"

Dumbledore winked playfully, "Oh? That's really dangerous."

The Gryffindor Lion Queen glared at him and waved her arms excitedly: "Didn't you do anything?!"

The old headmaster took a sip of tea before answering slowly, "Of course I took measures, Minerva. Harry is in the hospital wing now, but I don't recommend disturbing him and Poppy at this time."

Knowing that Harry was safe from the old man's relaxed attitude, Professor McGonagall calmed down and breathed a sigh of relief: "That's good."

She looked at Alison who was watching the show, surprised that the little wizard was still there at this point, and Alison's eyes were bloodshot, which was obviously abnormal.

"…Miss Grindelwald, do you know anything?"

Alison opened her eyes wide and tilted her head, her attitude innocent and choking: "Why do you think I would tell you, Professor Cat~"

At the same time, Dumbledore interrupted the old professor's anger and said, "Minerva, go back and rest. I will take care of things."

Professor McGonagall hesitated to speak, and finally had no choice but to leave.

Alison was playing with the Philosopher's Stone that Dumbledore had taken back earlier, a bright red stone that looked more like a ruby: "... Can't we really keep it?"

Dumbledore sighed helplessly: "No, this is a matter of principle."

Alison was puzzled: "What kind of principle is this? I think if you just write to your good friend Nicolas Flamel, he will agree."

Dumbledore didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "Of course Nico will agree, but..."

Thinking of the old friend who had decided to say goodbye, his gaze suddenly softened and he was silent for a moment. His tone was gentle but earnest.

"Alison, you should know that immortality is not a good thing."

“Death is not the end of life, but another beginning. To a clear-minded person, death is just another great adventure.”

Alison stared at the Philosopher's Stone in her hand and whispered, "...but I don't want you and Dad to leave me."

Dumbledore stroked her hair and whispered soothing words.

"Don't worry, we won't leave you...it's getting late, go get some rest."

The little red-haired wizard looked up at him, his face unable to tell what he was thinking, but he still obediently put down the Philosopher's Stone and went back to the dormitory to sleep.

Dumbledore sighed, his eyes fell on the Philosopher's Stone on the table with a complicated expression.

……

the next day.

Alison arrived at the auditorium early in the morning and found that everyone was discussing someone who broke into the restricted area last night.

Hermione and Ron were surrounded by the Gryffindors discussing the levels, but the final content was unclear because Harry was still unconscious in the hospital wing.

At this point, it's like listening to a story halfway through, and no one is able to continue, so they can only make up all kinds of outrageous rumors.

Dumbledore was not there, maybe he went to bed late and got up late. Alison sat with the Slytherins and ate breakfast.

At this moment, for some reason, Draco suddenly came over and said mysteriously, "Have you heard? Someone broke into the restricted area last night."

It seemed like he just heard some random gossip shared, but he didn't expect Alison to be there. Seeing the red hair and the now bloodshot eyes, the light golden reflective head swallowed subconsciously and asked.

"You, your eyes...?"

After asking the question quickly, Draco quietly shut himself up under the admiring gazes of all the Slytherins looking at the warrior.

Alison replied good-naturedly, propping her face up lazily.

"Some of the aftereffects of magic will disappear after a while. Compared to that, I want to know why you took the initiative to get close to me."

Draco's face immediately turned red, and he became stubborn and stammered, which was quite similar to Professor Quirrell's.

"Who, who approached you?! I just happened to be passing by!"

Alison blinked and kindly let it go, not minding letting the little snakes who were secretly looking over hear some gossip.

"I was one of those who went to the restricted area last night."

The long table suddenly became quiet. The little snakes looked at each other, and finally their eyes fell on the warrior Draco.

Draco gritted his teeth and said, "Why did you go to the restricted area?"

With evil ideas in her mind turning over, Alison revealed an evil smile with bloodshot eyes, and her ferocious look was particularly frightening.

"I went to steal the Philosopher's Stone! And I beat Harry, who came to stop me, half to death!"

Everyone gasped and fell into dead silence.

It seemed that the fact that nothing had happened the previous times gave Draco courage. He opened his eyes wide in shock and was the first to break the silence.

"Did you really hurt Potter?!"

Alison sighed, "I cast a Cruciatus Curse on him and he ended up in the hospital wing."

The little snakes all showed terrified expressions, and a depressing atmosphere filled the air around the Slytherin table.
