HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 134: Question

"Miss Grindelwald, may I ask if you may release your Headmaster now?"

Snape glared at Alison sinisterly.

Alison sighed softly, let go of her hand, and looked down at the hair in her hand.

"...very lacking in humour...and losing a lot of hair - are you entering the inevitable baldness phase for British men?"

The Slytherin Snake King felt that his anger was about to ignite him, so he took a deep breath and tried to control himself.

"…Ms. Grindelwald, I hope you can explain what you just did?"

Alison quickly reviewed the series of outrageous actions in her mind and was confused for a moment.

"…Which behavior do you mean?"

The veins on Professor Snape's forehead were throbbing with joy, and he spoke word by word.

"Touched my head and pulled my hair."

Alison winked playfully, with an innocent look on her face, and explained to him, gently twisting the trophy in her hand.

"Oh, just to see if it's really as greasy as it looks."

There was one more thing she didn't say.

This hair is a bit oily.

But just that one sentence was enough to make the poor professor feel his blood pressure spike.

He took another deep breath and tried to calm himself.

"...Ms. Grindelwald, I think you should know that it is impolite to touch the professor casually."

Alison looked like a scoundrel and started to act like a hooligan.

"You can also be rude to me and touch me at will!"

Professor Snape: I feel my fist is hard. He doesn't even want to use his wand now, he just wants to hit him directly.

In the end, the double agent's rationality restrained his anger. He habitually used the brain block technique to exclude emotions, turned away with empty eyes.

But his pace quickened a lot, and he left in his black robe, not knowing whether he was going to chase Quirrell or continue the threat that had been interrupted.

Alison stood there happily, sorting out the lost hair - many potions require the use of a specific person's hair as a guide. This is an important potion material, and it is also the main reason why she foresaw this scene and rushed over.

As for the secondary reasons...

Harry came out from his hiding place, lifted up his Invisibility Cloak, and looked at Alison in shock.

Alison raised an eyebrow at him in amusement.

The young underling stammered as he spoke, perhaps trying to imitate the Professor Quirrell, for whom he sympathized, and to show his respect.

"You...you just..."

Harry also noticed that he was stuttering, so he simply pointed at Professor Snape's departing back in the distance to make his meaning clear with his gestures.

"You just... did that..."

Alison hummed, breaking away from the deliberate performance of greasy Pu Xin from before, now looking lazy and calm.

"I pissed him off."

After all, this kind of threatening behavior is of no use to Quirrell and Voldemort. At most, it will advance the plot and increase the suspicion of the black-haired, green-eyed little wizard on the opposite side, and finally lead to a boring and clichéd reversal.

Harry swallowed. "Why?"

Alison laughed, but instead of answering directly, she asked, "What's your guess?"

Harry hesitated for a moment, and carefully observed the expression of the devil in front of him in the dark environment: "... Did you find something?"

Hearing his words, Alison raised her eyebrows, looking a little arrogant.

"Discovery? There are very few things in Hogwarts that I don't know."

Harry didn't think there was anything wrong with Alison's arrogance. Everyone at Hogwarts was used to it and numb to it. He had even seen the crazy scene of her using a large number of Unforgivable Curses.

So, he just asked tentatively: "Then do you know what Professor Quirrell is doing?"

Hearing the subordinate's euphemistic question, Alison's eyes flashed with surprise, and then she smiled and pointed out his thoughts.

Although she often behaved in a variety of outrageous ways and did not get along well with her own head of house, she was still a Slytherin after all.

"——I thought you were going to ask my dear dean what he wanted to do..."

Harry frowned: "You do know!"

Alison lazily leaned against the pillar behind her and said something completely opposite to Harry's conjecture, directly revealing the real answer.

"Quirrell is trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone, and Snape is trying to stop him."

She glanced sideways at the little wizard next to her who was stunned when he heard the answer.

When Harry realized what was happening, he was in disbelief and retorted subconsciously, defending the poor cowardly professor in his heart.

The contrast between Snape and Quirrell is so obvious. One is always picking on Gryffindor students, while the other is cowardly, stuttering, and has psychological trauma. He is pale and thin, and is interrogated by the former...

"How is that possible? Professor Quirrell looks so timid..."

Alison interrupted calmly.

"'Things are often not what they seem' - this is what my father once said... People can pretend and lie, and they can change."

Looking at the silly look of the little wizard, she sighed secretly and explained gently, with a calm attitude as if they were chatting about daily life instead of discussing the professor's conspiracy.

"Let me put it this way: please put aside your personal feelings about their unclear actions and look at the overall situation - Snape has always been the dean and a person trusted by the headmaster. And Quirrell, he was suddenly transferred from the position of Muggle Studies professor to the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor..."

"You lived in the Muggle world before, so you may not be familiar with this position: the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor has gradually become notorious since Voldemort applied for the job. It is said that Voldemort failed in the job application and cursed the position. Those professors can only teach for one year, and then something bad will happen."

"So this profession of professors who consume a consumable material every year is notorious in the UK, so there are no qualified people to apply for it. So compared to before, Quirrell's sudden change of personality and his active application for this dangerous position are very suspicious."

After being shocked and thinking carefully, Harry frowned again, scratched his head, and pointed out the loopholes that he couldn't figure out.

"But then why...why did the headmaster hire Quirrell?"

Alison blinked playfully, her eyes sparkling, as she recalled and commented on her father.

"Employment does not mean trust - although my father is willing to show an equal and relaxed attitude in front of everyone, his trust in anyone is very limited."

Seeing that what she said was a bit profound, causing the little subordinate to look at her blankly, Alison sighed and said it more bluntly.

"For example, I found someone trying to steal my things, but instead of chasing him away, I chose to let him go - and finally caught the thief and recovered the stolen goods, once and for all!"

Harry suddenly realized it and blurted it out.

"You mean, the principal is fishing for..."

"Shut up!"

Alison hissed, interrupting Harry.

Although this was a secluded corner carefully selected by her own dean and free from distractions such as portraits, she still had to be careful inside Hogwarts. If her father found out that she was secretly giving cheats to her subordinates just for fun, she would be in big trouble.
