Black Naruto: Shadow Moon
Chapter 353 Chatting with Readers
The story of the novel ends here, but I left an open ending for the protagonist Yingyue, an immortal supernatural being who can experience so many stories, and Yingyue has achieved his goal in the ninja world. He pacified the chaos in the ninja world and created an unprecedented prosperous ninja world.
This novel was originally written when I was out of books to read. I had some wonderful inspiration, so I started writing this novel right away. However, my writing skills were limited at the beginning, and the first 100,000 words were rather mediocre. The protagonist grew too slowly and there were few exciting parts, which led to a large loss of readers. Later on, the readership gradually became stable, which may be due to the fact that I became more and more proficient in writing. Thanks to the likes of all the readers, I have been encouraged to continue writing to this day.
What I care more about than income is the dissemination of ideas. Many novels nowadays, after adding supernatural powers, the background of the story begins to be like a feudal dynasty in a new skin. There is also the idea of social Darwinism, which emphasizes the survival of the fittest.
In my opinion, the reason why humans have become the most powerful and domineering ultimate creatures on earth is not because of how terrifying the individual strength of humans is, but because of cooperation and wisdom. It is difficult for individual humans to defeat lions and tigers in a one-on-one situation, and they are far inferior to previous creatures such as dinosaurs. However, after humans learned to cooperate and established civilization, these individually powerful beasts are no match for humans.
The cooperation that drives the progress of human history is far greater than competition, and even greater than competition like a zero-sum game.
Then there is the issue of Naruto's worldview. Naruto may seem like a hot-blooded youth manga, but many details have not been added, or the author Kishimoto does not want to add them. If we peel off the surface of the hot-blooded youth manga and delve into the reasons for the endless conflicts in the ninja world, then the enemies of the story will not just be the so-called villains.
Kishimoto's stories often have cause before effect. The current story of Uzumaki Naruto gives rise to the background supplementary stories after Uzumaki Naruto, just like shooting an arrow first and then drawing the target. First there is the story, and then the story is rounded out. However, in this process, there are many logical inconsistencies and even bizarre things, so there are many Naruto conspiracy theories. For example, Hashirama Senju, who possessed the body of a sage, died in his prime, and the Second Hokage, who possessed the Flying Thunder God Technique, died because he was covering the retreat of the Shadow Guard.
Things like why the Senju clan disappeared, how the Uzumaki clan and the Uzumaki Country disappeared are often just glossed over.
It’s like knowing that there is an action of archery and the arrow has hit the target, but there is no trajectory of the arrow’s flight.
Therefore, I added some relatively reasonable movement trajectories and the story of the protagonist Yingyue in these unsupplemented parts.
Then there is the issue of war and peace. Many of the characters in Naruto aim to pursue peace, such as Nagato of the Akatsuki organization, Uchiha Madara, and even some so-called villains are not pure villains, they just have different ways of achieving the ideal of peace.
Why are people in the ninja world so obsessed with peace? That is due to the dark and cruel era setting of Naruto. In the Warring States Period, children of several years old had to go to the battlefield as cannon fodder, and ninjas were consumables and tools, and killing each other was commonplace.
At the same time, Kishimoto did not clearly explain why the ninjas in the ninja world fought each other, was it because of hatred or because of resources? It was more like war for the sake of war. War was an event that advanced the story. War was caused by hatred, and hatred originated from war. It was a circular reasoning and a logical closed loop.
In reality, wars must have deep-seated reasons. Wars are the continuation of politics. Wars break out because of resource allocation issues. This is in line with the logic of the real world. If we apply the logic of the real world to the world of Naruto, we can get ninjas fighting each other because of resource issues. The limited task share is fought for by a few major ninja villages, and ninjas rely on completing tasks to earn income and live.
The income of ninjas mainly comes from the grants from the daimyo and the tasks commissioned by other nobles, merchants, and lords in the ninja world. The resources provided by the daimyo to the ninjas do not come out of thin air, but must come from the people of the ninja world. The daimyo grants grants to the ninja villages and ninjas, and the ninja villages and ninjas maintain the daimyo's rule. The daimyo obtains the fruits of the labor of the people of the ninja world through taxation and other means, and then gives a small part of it to the ninja villages and ninjas to maintain his own rule. The daimyo squanders the rest, and the noble lords who depend on the daimyo also get some.
We can see at this stage that if there were no daimyo nobles and noble lords, the lives of ninjas and civilians would be better, so the daimyo and the social system he established were the cause of the endless disputes in the ninja world.
Of course, Kishimoto would definitely not write like this. Fuso still has the emperor and the chaebols, and it is a small country with a small population. If he tries to solve the problem fundamentally, firstly he will be opposed, and secondly Kishimoto's understanding of politics is extremely naive.
But our novel description does not need to care about these. Overthrowing the feudal rule of the daimyo is a matter of course, so Yingyue's story has changed from the original flow of developing personal invincibility to adding a story of mobilizing the masses to change the world.
Then there is the question of how to develop better after pacifying the world.
The ninja world had developed for thousands of years under the conditions of low production in feudal society, and was still very backward when it came to possessing supernatural powers like chakra. The main reason was that the daimyo relied on a small number of ninjas with supernatural powers to easily suppress all resistance. They gained the right to distribute social resources, and how to distribute social resources depended more on how to maintain the existing rule, as well as blood ties and closeness of relationship.
Instead of expanding social resources and making society develop better, and everyone having access to more resources, the development of the ninja world will naturally stagnate. We should give the cake to those who can make it bigger, instead of dividing the cake based on blood relationship in order to maintain rule. This is what Yingyue does.
The more evenly the cake is divided, the fairer it is, and the bigger the cake becomes. Yingyue broke the feudal rule and established a more reasonable new order.
Of course, in this process, Yingyue also promoted the development of productivity. Only with the further development of productivity can the transformation of production relations be smooth and a society in which most people live a more decent life be realized.
It's not that he gained people's recognition after becoming Hokage, but he became Hokage after gaining people's recognition.
People like Danzo obviously implemented this statement in reverse, while Kagezuki first let the people who supported him gain benefits, and only then would those who supported Kagezuki follow Kagezuki firmly, and Kagezuki also gained their loyalty. When Kagezuki gained the support of the vast majority of Konoha's ninjas, it was a foregone conclusion that he would become the Fourth Hokage and the uncrowned king of Konoha. Even if Sarutobi Hiruzen disagreed, he could follow the story of Chen Qiao and wear the divine robe. Similarly, when Kagezuki became the emperor of the ninja world, it was more people who followed Kagezuki's support that pushed Kagezuki to that position.
The cost of loyalty is often tangible benefits rather than false slogans. Yingyue achieved this and greatly changed the lives and destinies of most people in the ninja world, and naturally won people's support.
The so-called destiny is not predestined by God, but it is the destiny that those who are in the right will have many supporters while those who are in the wrong will have few supporters. It is the people's historical view, which is also the idea that the novel wants to spread.
I haven't thought about the idea for the next work yet. If I have time and opportunity, there will be another work. Finally, I would like to thank all the readers for their support. Your urging and reading are the main motivation for me to complete this novel. If you like it, please give this work a rating so that more people can see it. Thank you.
