God's Gift

Chapter 334 Ending

During the half month when she didn't write to Ning Yue, she tried desperately to survive.

From the moment she knew that the Su family was going to sell her to the Fang family for a ghost marriage, she had been praying constantly. She knelt down to her father who had ignored her, and to the lady who had bullied her all day long, begging them to let her go.

She had to survive. Her brother hadn't come back yet, so she had to wait for him.

But for some reason, the Fang family insisted on having her, and her spineless father didn't dare to disobey the Fang family, nor did he care about her life or death.

Even though Ning Jin hit her head in front of them, they still sent her out.

She broke free from the wedding sedan, prostrated herself on the ground, knelt down to the beggars who had given her money, and to passers-by, begging them to save her.

But they avoided her and watched coldly as she was captured by the Fang family.

While the guests outside were drinking and having fun, she knelt beside the eldest son's headless body, kowtowing and begging for mercy to Mr. Fang and Mrs. Fang, asking them to let her go.

She said she had to wait for her brother to come home and she had to stay alive.

The border war has stopped, maybe one day my brother will come back to Gusu to look for her. If she dies now, my brother won't be able to find her.

Even if she marries the eldest son, at least don't kill her, let her live.

But something in her words angered Mr. Fang, and he ordered his men to seal her lips, making her unable to speak.

She knelt and kowtowed repeatedly until she was bleeding, but they were not moved at all.

She turned around to escape, but was pushed into the coffin by the servants. She watched helplessly as they pushed the arm-thick wooden nail into her body and watched the coffin lid close.

But she had to survive.

Later, her ghost was trapped beside the tomb, forgetting everything and only remembering to stay alive.

She hadn't waited for him yet.

"Brother..." Ning Jin grabbed Yu Youyou's hand, panting heavily, and asked painfully: "Brother...why did you commit suicide?"

Ning Jin was very kind to Youyou. She always smiled at her gently and made delicious food for her and her puppy friends.

Now Yu Youyou looked at Ning Jin like this, and for some reason her chest felt a little blocked, but she didn't know the reason, so she just squatted down and gently held Ning Jin's face.

"Ajin, he was the last person who killed you."

"Only when he dies can your hatred be resolved and you can enter reincarnation."

"No..." Ning Jin grabbed Yu Youyou's hand and kept looking up and said, "He is not..."

"Ajin, your grudge has been resolved and you can enter reincarnation." Yu Youyou looked to the side. She didn't know when the debt ghost and the Taoist priests had dug up her grave.

Ning Jin was already disheartened, but he didn't want to see what happened there. He just said dully:

"Let them kill me."

Strong winds blew in the tomb, and Ning Jin's dry bones appeared before their eyes. A young Taoist priest picked up a talisman and was about to throw it into the tomb, but was knocked aside by the debtor ghost.

Qing Ling and the Taoists had no idea what the debtor ghost was going to do, and before they could react they were kicked away by him.

After everyone was away from Ning Jin's tomb, the debt ghost bent his knees and knelt in front of Fang Ling, who was covered in blood.

"My benefactor, I have completed everything you asked me to do. I will...reincarnate now."

After saying this, the debt ghost's body gradually disappeared in front of Fang Ling.

Fang Ling knelt on the ground, watching the debtor ghost disappear from his sight, then raised his head to look at the grave that had been dug up.

He propped himself up, moved to the front of the tomb, and knelt in it. The strong wind in the tomb blew him all over the place, so he supported himself on the ground with both hands.

"Fang Ling." Yu Youyou looked towards Fang Ling's position and called out softly.

When Ning Jin heard the voice, he slowly raised his eyes towards Fang Ling's position, but saw Fang Ling kneeling at the edge of the tomb.

He did not look back at her.

Fang Ling clenched his hands tightly, his body trembling slightly, looking at the strong wind in the tomb that was strong enough to cut his body in half, and he kept gasping for breath.

Tears flowed from her eyes. Fang Ling cried until her body shook. She began to cough violently, as if she wanted to cough out her heart as well.

He covered his mouth and read while crying:

"I don't want to cry...I don't want to cry..."

He took a few deep breaths, holding back his tears, as if to comfort himself, and turned to look at Ning Jin.

"No!" Ning Jin widened his eyes and staggered to his feet. Before he took a step, he saw Fang Ling leaning forward.

Fang Ling withdrew her gaze from Ning Jin, tears trickled down her face, her lips trembled with fear, and she muttered to herself in a cowardly manner:

“So scary.”

These words were soon lost in the strong wind along with his body. Before Ning Jin even reached the tomb, Fang Ling disappeared.

He trapped her in the tomb so that she could be reborn and enter the cycle of reincarnation again.

But from then on, their souls were separated and they would never meet again.

That's what he said, let her live.

“Fang Ling!!”

Almost at the same time, the wind in the tomb stopped, Ning Jin's body stagnated, and she fell in front of the tomb. Her body began to become blurry and transparent, and like the debtor ghost who had just left, she began to gradually dissipate.

"Fang Ling..."

Even her call disappeared.

-

"Brother!"

As Ning Jin's voice disappeared, Qing Ling's voice was heard again. Yu Youyou and Lu Keming looked over there at the same time, only to see that the Maoshan Taoist priest who was originally saving the souls of hundreds of ghosts now had gray hair and was aging rapidly.

Yu Youyou looked at the aging Taoist priests in confusion, walked towards Lu Keming, and asked in astonishment: "What happened to them?"

Lu Keming grabbed Yu Youyou's hand and explained in a low voice: "There are many ghosts in the ghost realm. If they want to save the ghosts in a short period of time, they can only consume their own life span."

Several of the Taoists had already lost their oil lamps, were emaciated, and had their heads hung down forever.

Yu Youyou was stunned for a while, her eyes swept through the chaotic scene, looking at the Taoist priests dying one after another, and asked in confusion:

"Why would they do that?"

Lu Keming actually didn’t know the answer, but he still answered: “Maybe it’s because of the righteousness in my heart.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Ali's voice suddenly came from the ruins of the Baixu Formation in the distance.

"Yu Youyou, Lu Keming! The fire is here!"

Yu Youyou's eyes changed, and she looked towards Ali in shock, only to see that her body was burnt black and dead by the flames, but she still held the fire in her hand.

Yu Youyou looked at her and immediately noticed the difference in her eyes.

"Ye Li..."

Flames were still burning on Ye Li's body. She took one step at a time and walked in front of Yu Youyou and Lu Keming with difficulty. Yu Youyou wanted to reach out and catch the fire, but Ye Li dodged her.

"The power of the fire is too strong. Don't touch it easily, or you will get hurt..."

"I..." Yu Youyou wanted to say that she was fine, but the words seemed to be stuck in her throat and she couldn't say them at this moment.

Ye Li knelt on the ground exhausted and muttered silently: "We have got the fire, we can leave this small world."

"Everyone can return alive."

Her body was charred, and the burning flames still enveloped her, causing her to slowly close her eyes.

"A Li..." Yu Youyou looked at A Li's eyes that were gradually closing. The feeling of blockage in her chest became heavier. She extinguished the fire on Ye Li's body, her expression a little dull.

She looked at everything in front of her in a daze, and then looked at the letters that fell on the ground as if she had realized something. There were dots of golden light floating on the letters on the ground.

"Ning Yue..."

Yu Youyou murmured, watching the golden dots of light floating towards her and gradually disappearing into her eyes.

When the yellow light spots completely sank into Youyou's pupils, they condensed into crystal tears in Youyou's eyes and rolled down one by one.

Lu Keming was still looking at the fire in Ye Li's arms when he suddenly felt a drop of warm tears falling on his arm. He immediately turned his head to the side, and after seeing the tears on Yu Youyou's face, he asked in amazement:

"Youyou, why are you crying?"

Yu Youyou covered her right eye, a huge grief that came from nowhere spreading throughout her body. She trembled and grabbed the hand that Lu Keming extended. As soon as she opened her mouth, she choked with sobs. She wanted to hold back, but found that she had no control at all.

"It's not me...it's...Ning Yue..."

Lu Keming hugged Yu Youyou and was about to check her eyes when he saw a dark red light coming towards them from the sky not far away.

Wherever the light touched, the trees were broken in half.

Lu Keming cast a spell towards the light, but the light was not affected at all.

Almost without hesitation, Lu Keming transformed into a huge fox and hugged Yu Youyou in his arms. Yu Youyou's eyes were dark and she only had time to hear the crisp sound of bones breaking.

It was the sound of a spine breaking.

After hearing the voice, the expression on Yu Youyou's face froze for a second, tears still rolling down her eyes. She slowly raised her head and looked at the fox above.

As if it had not expected Lu Keming to block the way, the light stopped in confusion, but soon forgot about him and shouted to Yu Youyou in his arms:

"Oshi, come out!"
