God's Gift

Chapter 314: Virtual and Submissive

When Ning Jin heard this, there was a brief look of surprise on his face, and he repeated, "Wedding dress?"

"Yes." A Li nodded. "The dress is very fancy and totally different from what A Jin likes. It looks more like the costumes that Ning Yue likes. Why would A Jin want such a wedding dress?"

"Really?" Ning Jin's expression froze for a while, as if he was thinking about something, and his brows gradually tightened.

"I have no dissatisfaction with the wedding dress that was sent to me, and the wedding dress you saw has not yet reached my hands."

"It's not for Ajin..." A Li found this a bit strange and said to himself, "Could it be that I saw it wrong? Is that the new costume made by Ning Yue?"

"Maybe." Ning Jin didn't pay too much attention to this matter. Ning Yue often made some bright red costumes and sent them to the mansion. After seeing them so many times, even Ning Jin got used to it.

"Okay." Ali didn't dwell on the matter any more. After saying goodbye to Ning Jin, he walked to the wall, his eyes changed into that of a white cat, and he nimbly jumped onto the top of the wall and gradually disappeared.

-

Ali held the black stone in his mouth, looking at it as he walked, muttering to himself.

Will this ordinary stone really change color as Ajin said?

It's really strange.

But before Ali took ten steps, the stone in her mouth actually lit up.

Ali's eyes lit up and he immediately turned around and looked back.

And behind her, Minghua was standing.

He was still wearing the green Taoist robe, but his fair face was no longer as bright and flawless as when he first came to Gusu. It was as if he had been through this world and had been tainted by the fatigue of the world.

Ali stood there in a daze, the two of them staring at each other from afar in the air. After a long while, Minghua asked helplessly:

"You work for the Ghost Realm, but you appear in the General's Mansion. Is it because the person you are loyal to is in the General's Mansion?"

Ah Li didn't answer, so Ming Hua continued, "That fox demon no longer kills people to take souls. The Yin Yang Reversal Formation should have stopped when Master's wife died, but you continued to take souls on behalf of that fox demon."

"I originally thought that resurrection was the wish of my master's wife alone, but I never thought that there were other people in this city who wanted to use the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation."

"You are loyal to the Ghost Realm, so the person who wants to be resurrected is related to the Ghost Realm. Even the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation... should also be in the Ghost Realm."

At this point, everything became clear like the sun finally shining through the clouds.

Minghua sighed as if he suddenly realized something.

"In fact, the most likely place in this city to hide the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation is the ghost realm. The Master's Wife insisted on staying in Gusu, so someone must have told her about the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation."

"Master's wife is nothing more than a pawn in the hands of others."

Minghua guessed about 70% of the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation correctly with just a few words. Ali was speechless for a long time before he asked:

"When did you start to doubt me?"

"When Master's wife died, you appeared in the Huachun Boat." Minghua lowered his eyes and looked at the white cat on the ground, with pity in his eyes, "There are many places where you shouldn't have appeared, but you appeared anyway."

"There are also many things you shouldn't get involved in, but you get involved anyway."

"I still have a glimmer of hope in my heart, hoping that this is just my illusion, until I see you kill that person with my own eyes."

Ah Li looked at the disappointment in Ming Hua's eyes, the hair on his neck exploded, and he transformed into a human form, saying aggressively:

"So, I killed someone, what do you want to do?"

"I've said before, I'm a demon, and human life is worthless to me. I didn't kill people before because I was too lazy to do it. It's just your wishful thinking that I'm a demon."

Ah Li walked up to Ming Hua, looked into his calm eyes, and the look in his eyes became colder. He said:

"So what? You're still pretending to be nice to me. You say you trust me and help me, but you're still suspicious of me and following me secretly."

"I really hope that I am despicable and shameless." Minghua looked at Ali's angry expression and sighed, "But my guesses are all true."

As soon as these words came out, Ali was speechless. Her chest heaved, but she couldn't find any words to refute.

What he said was true, she was indeed lying to him.

Ali lowered his eyes, his thoughts changing constantly, but in the end they all turned into determination.

"So what if I lied to you."

She shouldn't care what Minghua thought, she just needed to make Ning Jin satisfied.

There was a hint of enchanting red in Ali's eyes, and black energy was all around her. The hands at her sides made into claws, and in a flash she stretched out her claws to grab Minghua.

Minghua watched Ali attack him without hesitation, the expectation hidden in his eyes disappeared, and he looked at Ali who was attacking him with a dazed look.

Before Ali was about to touch Minghua, he quickly moved to the side and avoided Ali's sharp claws. Then he turned around and grabbed Ali's wrist, easily subduing Ali.

Ali still wanted to resist, but this time Minghua did not give in to her. His hands clamped Ali tightly, making her unable to move at all, and even her magic was suppressed.

When Minghua got serious, Ali realized how frivolous Minghua's previous fights with her were.

Ali struggled to break free but failed. He turned to look at Minghua and said sarcastically, "What are you going to do now? Kill me? Or beat me back to my original form?"

Minghua looked at the hatred in Ali's eyes, and his heart felt like it was stabbed by a sharp knife and began to hurt intensely.

He tightened his grip on Ali's wrist, causing Ali to cry out in pain.

In the past, Minghua would have been terrified by this cry of pain, fearing that she was injured in any way.

But now Minghua showed no emotion on his face. He held A-li tightly and said in a nonchalant voice:

"As you said, there is no difference between good and evil between demons and humans, so what I am doing now is not to punish evil and promote good. I will deal with you according to human rules."

"I won't kill you either, but if I leave you alone, you will surely help the tyrant to commit atrocities and bring disaster to the world."

"I won't let you leave until the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation is destroyed."

"No!" When Ah Li heard Minghua wanted to take her away, she immediately retorted, "I won't go with you!"

Minghua ignored Ali's resistance and tied Ali up with the demon-locking rope while saying, "I'm not asking for your opinion this time."

"Minghua!" Ali was helpless in Minghua's hands and could only be taken by him all the way back to the inn where the Taoist priests were staying temporarily.

No matter how Ali resisted along the way, Minghua had a blank face and did not react to Ali's kicking and struggling.

Ah Li looked at the inn that was getting closer and closer, and finally stopped struggling. He looked at the scrutinizing looks from the passers-by around him, rolled his eyes at them, and asked in a low voice:

"You brought me here because you want me to die?"

"The teachers are all here. Only here can we keep an eye on you."
