God's Gift

Chapter 113 Asta Escapes

The sunlight fell through the window, shining on Andy and the Wendigo. Andy's body became increasingly blurred in the sunlight, like bubbles, and his clear eyes were glowing.

The people downstairs watched this scene in silence.

The water in the Wendigo's body continued to drain away, and the mud turned into yellow dry soil, falling to the ground in pieces.

Andy and Wendigo held hands and gradually disappeared into the warm sunshine.

Like a gust of wind passing by, leaving no trace.

Ye Li looked at it from afar, but couldn't bear to look away.

"Does this mean the mission is accomplished?" A student in the crowd spoke up and murmured.

"That should be it." Fang Ziang looked at the window and was a little stunned.

How come it seems like it’s over without even doing anything?

Lu Keming just glanced at the window indifferently.

"Master, has Andy's wish come true?" Anthony walked behind Lu Keming and asked in a low voice.

"Yeah." Lu Keming responded calmly without showing any emotion.

Andy's wish has come true, and the intelligent computer will soon transmit them back, but now the remaining half of the fire has disappeared out of thin air.

Lu Keming half lowered his eyes and turned on his smart brain, but did not receive any relevant task prompts.

There was some confusion in his eyes.

In the past, if the mission was successful, the intelligent computer would teleport them immediately, but this time, the intelligent computer had no reaction at all.

Yu Youyou stood beside him, still looking in the direction where Wendigo and Andy disappeared, with unspeakable emotions hidden in her clear eyes.

Lu Keming glanced at the window of the castle, then turned to look at Yu Youyou beside him and asked in a low voice.

"Didn't you say that Anti's wish was for Asta to come out of the Wendigo's body?"

When Yu Youyou heard Lu Keming's voice, she turned her head and looked at him. He came back to his senses, tilted his head and thought for a moment, then replied affirmatively, "Yes."

"But the intelligent computer didn't give any task instructions." After getting Yu Youyou's answer, Lu Keming became even more confused.

"Hmm..." Yu Youyou held up her chin and asked Lu Keming, "Is the intelligent computer always punctual?"

Lu Keming paused for a second.

It is not always on time, and the intelligent computer has indeed experienced delays.

Lu Keying rubbed his knuckles and turned to look at Asta's position.

But Asta's bones had disappeared without a trace.

Lu Keming clenched his hands instantly, walked over and looked around at the barren land, but there was no trace of anything.

He pressed his fingers on the dragon ring and gritted his teeth. There was a cold light in his eyes. A few strands of hair fell down to cover his eyes, making him look even more gloomy. He shouted in a sinister voice.

"Anthony."

"Master, is there anything else?" Anthony took a few steps forward.

"Asta has disappeared. There is still half a spark of fire left in his body. Go find him." Lu Keming looked at Anthony, his eyes like cold mist, "Call everyone immediately. We must find him."

When Anthony heard the word "fire", he subconsciously glanced at Yu Youyou beside him and was slightly surprised.

The young master actually told Yu Youyou about the fire right in front of her?

Yu Youyou's gaze moved between the two of them, then she looked away as if nothing had happened.

Lu Keming noticed Anthony's glance towards Yu Youyou, and he paused for a moment, coughed, and said coldly, "Go find him."

Anthony finally reacted and nodded quickly, "Yes."

Lu Keming then withdrew his oppressive gaze from Anthony, turned to Youyou and said, "You go back to the castle with them first, I'll go find some fire."

Yu Youyou rolled her eyes, swayed her body casually, and nodded, "Okay."

After saying that, she turned around, stepped onto the wooden bridge, and hopped casually towards the castle.

The group returned to the castle and waited for notification from the intelligent computer.

The dark clouds in the sky gradually gathered again, and fog gradually filled the air. Fang Ziang stood in the ruined castle and sneezed because of the choking dust.

He glanced outside and ran to Shen Minghua and Ye Li curiously, "Look, it's foggy outside again."

Andy is gone, why is this swamp like this again?

Shen Minghua shook his head, indicating that he didn't know. He walked to the window, glanced at the gray sky, and casually said, "Maybe it's just a change in the weather."

In Yu Youyou's bedroom, she sat on the windowsill, looking in the direction of the forest. She swayed her white feet, and then looked up at the dark clouded sky.

A few seconds later, she jumped off the windowsill.

-

The fog became thicker and thicker, gradually filling all areas around the swamp. The dead tree forest was surrounded by white fog, and the road ahead was completely white, with no sight of one's hand in front of one's face.

The Blue Dragon's men were in the forest when a sudden thick fog trapped them. Everything in front of them was white and they couldn't see clearly even with a flashlight.

This was thicker than the fog in Andy's dream.

There was a hint of annoyance in Lu Keming's eyes. He raised his hand and lit a fire, evaporating the mist in the air.

But within a few seconds, the thick fog gathered together again.

He took a deep breath, put down his hands, and stood in the fog.

A skeleton with dark red flames burning on its body was trapped in the fog. The shape of Asta could be vaguely seen from the shape of the burning flames.

His skeleton pushed aside the thick fog and ran around wildly in it.

Gray-blue dark clouds piled up in the sky, and lightning flashed in the clouds from time to time, dyeing the thick clouds a deep blue.

The dark clouds were rolling like huge waves on the sea during a storm. If you were not careful, they would swallow up everything.

Asta ran until he reached the edge of the forest, where a winding asphalt road appeared. The fog had dissipated a little, and he could vaguely see the road ahead.

He breathed a sigh of relief, ran onto the road and escaped outside.

A dull, heavy roar sounded in the gray fog, like the roar of a whale from the quiet deep sea, which made people feel instinctive fear.

Asta looked around tremblingly, and continued to run forward, rolling and crawling.

But soon, his steps stopped.

The asphalt road at the end of the forest was cut off, the ground shook violently and collapsed, and a huge crack appeared in the earth.

Asta stopped in front of the gap, looked at the constantly breaking asphalt road, and took a step back.

A huge black shadow appeared in the thick fog, swam through the cracks in the ground, and stopped in the middle of the asphalt road. There was something like a lighting lamp on the black shadow, emitting a strong light, staring at Asta from top to bottom.

That's a pair of eyes.
