HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 52: Petrification is lifted and the semester ends

Harry and Ron were eating with relish, the chicken legs at school were so delicious!

I’m really hungry after running for so long!

Suddenly, they heard the sound of running behind them. They turned around and saw Hermione.

Ron stood up suddenly and opened his arms as if he wanted to hug Hermione, but unexpectedly Hermione turned directly to the Slytherin table and hugged Olga.

"I knew you would understand what I meant!"

Hermione said in Olga's ear.

She heard about the Chamber of Secrets from Madam Pomfrey. Fortunately, there were Olga and Ginny, otherwise Harry and Ron would not know when they would discover the reminder she left behind.

Olga stroked Hermione's fluffy hair: "Thanks to your cleverness."

Draco stared at the side in dissatisfaction. He really hated Mudbloods the most!

Theodore remained silent. He knew that Olga must have gone on an adventure with the Gryffindors, and that Millicent's change...was not sure whether it was good or bad.

As the end of the semester approaches, the young wizards begin to frantically review their previous courses.

Daphne discovered that Millicent had changed, in the following way... she would actually take the initiative to save seats for them!

"Don't think I will support you in robbing Theodore just like that."

Daphne said angrily after being taken care of by Millicent once again.

"..." Millicent glanced at Daphne unhappily.

"Don't worry, I have absolutely no interest in him now."

What a joke. You're almost dead and still thinking about a man.

Daphne stared at Millicent suspiciously, "Is this true?"

"Believe it or not, I'm just trying to repair our shaky roommate relationship. If you don't think it's necessary, you can—"

"need!"

Daphne said quickly, "Free labor is here to reserve seats. It's hard to get a seat in the library at the end of the semester."

After a few days, Daphne discovered that Millicent really didn't care about Theodore at all, and she still found it amazing.

"But why do you suddenly dislike Theodore?"

Millicent paused. "I just realized... I actually like him when he likes someone else."

It was a bit confusing, but Daphne soon understood what she meant.

"You also think Theodore is particularly charming in front of Olga, right?"

It was as if Daphne had found an ally.

Millicent nodded vaguely.

"They are such a perfect match! Both have black hair and are very good-looking. And Theodore's "I'm only gentle with you" feeling is so unfair!"

Daphne seemed to have opened up a chatterbox and kept talking.

"Pansy actually favors the Gryffindor twins... Blaise stood for Draco without hesitation, but I think he might have been blinded by his personal relationship..."

"Actually, Cain is not bad either. He was so cute when he opened his eyes wide and called Olga sister! It's not impossible to have an sister-brother relationship... No, no, no, I still support the two Olgas being together!"

Millicent watched Daphne's little mouth chattering non-stop. She thought that as the eldest daughter of Greengrass, Daphne would be a very stable person.

It turns out that I usually just pretend.

"What about you?" Seeing that Millicent didn't say anything, Daphne thought she was still sad about the relationship that ended in failure.

"I?"

“Who do you think is the best?”

Millicent dropped her eyes.

"I think...Olga is great, they are all unworthy of her."

Daphne was surprised. Millicent's words were full of protection for Olga.

What happened? The love rival turned into the only fan?

"…What on earth did you go through?"

Daphne accidentally blurted out what was in her heart.

"Some pretty horrible things, but luckily it ended well."

Millicent did not tell Olga that she had been saved, as she felt that Olga probably did not want to have any contact with her anymore.

Daphne seemed to understand, but she comforted him: "The process is not important, as long as the ending is good."

Lockhart's "glorious" deeds spread almost throughout the wizarding world.

Watching the Daily Prophet's merciless criticism of Lockhart, Hermione turned the newspaper upside down on the table with a look of despair.

"Now you believe he's a fool," said Ron.

Hermione didn't say anything. Her enthusiasm was ultimately in vain.

"He almost used the Oblivion Charm on me and Harry! We almost forgot about you! But he didn't succeed, and instead he kept dancing in front of the Chamber of Secrets."

Ron said dramatically, observing Hermione's reaction.

Hermione looked at Ron and Harry, whose faces were filled with innocence, then turned to Zero.

Zero nodded slightly at her.

Indeed, if it weren't for Olga, her two friends would probably already be at St. Mungo's.

Before the end of the semester, everyone received the course selection list for the next semester.

Draco wanted to take the same classes as Olga, but Olga didn't know much about these electives.

"These elective courses will affect the OWLs exams later. If you want to get full marks in twelve subjects, you have to choose all the courses starting from the third year."

Theodore explained softly in Olga's ear.

Oh, so that’s how it is. Then she’ll just choose two symbolically.

Olga picked up the pen and ticked "Divination" and "Care of Magical Creatures".

Draco followed suit, and Theodore also circled these two items silently.

"Don't you have to choose multiple choices? Aren't you preparing for that exam?"

"Dad only suggested that I take the Divination class. Everything else is up to me."

Draco said sweetly.

"The Nott family doesn't pay attention to this."

Well, Olga shrugged.

But when Olga learned that Hermione had chosen all the courses, she was still a little shocked.

She knew Hermione was a top student, but she didn't know she was involved to this extent.

This year's number one was not Hermione, but Olga (because the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam was cancelled).

Although losing to Olga was not shameful, Hermione had a strong sense of urgency and she didn't want to be left behind!

Before leaving school, Olga went to see Snape.

"Why? You came to visit your poor old professor before leaving school?"

Olga had become accustomed to Snape's unique way of speaking, and the sharp-tongued old dean did not make it difficult for her to deal with those strange medicinal herbs during this year's final exam.

"Will the skin and blood of the basilisk be useful to you in making potions?"

Snape paused: "The Chamber of Secrets is not sealed."

"I can take you straight in."

Snape struggled internally for a moment, but between the old professor's face and the excellent potion materials, he chose to succumb to the latter.

Hey, basilisk! There is only one of these, and it is full of treasures.

"Let's go then."

Olga pulled Snape up and teleported to the Chamber of Secrets, where a huge dead snake lay in the dim environment.

"If it's too big to take out in one go, you can take it out in multiple times. No one will come here anyway."

Snape was examining the basilisk's corpse. Hearing this, he just nodded slightly, with no clear expression on his face hidden under his black hair.
