HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 40 The Whereabouts of the Diary

Olga took Harry into the principal's office and happened to meet Fox who was in Nirvana.

Seeing the beautiful bird turned into ashes, Olga felt heartbroken and subconsciously wanted to save it, but was stopped by Dumbledore.

"Oh, dear Olga, don't worry, Fawkes is a phoenix, he will burn himself to death and rise again from the ashes."

Olga then saw a tiny baby bird poking its head out.

A bit ugly.

Olga turned her eyes away calmly, but was entangled by Fox.

It was hard for her to associate this wrinkled little bird with the beautiful phoenix, but she had to accept the fact.

Olga touched Fox stiffly, and the latter showed a satisfied little expression.

"Haha, it seems Fox really likes you very much."

Dumbledore said and looked back at Harry.

"Long time no see, Harry."

Harry felt somewhat embarrassed in Dumbledore's presence.

"Long time no see, Professor."

Olga didn't have the patience to listen to the two people's greetings, so she briefly recounted what had just happened.

"It's too targeted. The designer's clumsy trick is only enough to fool those innocent little wizards."

Olga was brief and to the point.

"Now that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and the Basilisk has been released, it is even more important to ensure the safety of the students in the school."

Dumbledore looked at Olga with relief. Although she did not mention Harry at all, every word she said was in defense of Harry.

"Professor Dumbledore, I really did not—"

"Miss Olga is right." Dumbledore interrupted Harry. "I never doubted you, Harry."

After sending Harry away after he was comforted, Olga said seriously.

"What do you think about the diary?"

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled behind his glasses.

"Perhaps you know what Voldemort's real name is?"

What do you mean, Voldemort has another name?

"Tom Riddle."

Olga was stunned. Doesn't that mean...

"No wonder I felt the aura of the soul fragments in the diary was a little strange."

Dumbledore's expression was a little serious.

“Are you sure you felt the soul?”

"Of course. But it's incomplete. So I doubt--"

"There is more than one such object," Dumbledore continued.

The two fell into silence.

Dumbledore is facing the seriousness of the situation, while Olga is...

Olga was wondering how things were going with Theodore.

Millicent was a little surprised when she was stopped by Theodore, but she felt like she was poured with cold water when she saw Theodore's gloomy expression.

The two were in the corner of the Slytherin common room, and Millicent was trembling under Theodore's stare.

"What do you want from me, Theodore?"

"You should call me Nott, classmate Bulstrode."

There was no warmth in Theodore's voice.

Millicent lowered her head in embarrassment, resentment flashing in her eyes.

Why can Olga call him so intimately - Theo, is she not even worthy of calling him by his name?

"Mr. Nott, what can I do for you?"

Millicent still didn't dare to tell her everything.

"Did you take Olga's diary?"

Theodore didn't want to play any guessing games with her, so he got straight to the point.

"Diary? What diary? You must be mistaken. Did Olga say anything to you?"

There was something shrill in Millicent's voice when she mentioned Olga.

Theodore stared at her for several breaths without blinking.

"Malfoy put up a missing-and-found notice so loudly, how could you not know that she lost her diary?"

Millicent felt like she had something stuck in her throat, but she still played dumb.

"Really? I'm not sure. I've been in the library most of the time recently, and the people in the dormitory don't pay much attention to me...so I don't know much about what's going on in the college."

Theodore sneered and felt like vomiting when he saw Millicent acting so hypocritically.

"Stop pretending. Do you think what you did was really unnoticed?"

Millicent's heart skipped a beat, but she thought of something and continued:

"I don't know what you're talking about. You can't just slander your classmates just because Olga lost something!"

Theodore's patience was running out, and he drew his wand and pointed it at Millicent.

"You know whether it's slander or not, don't force me to do anything to you."

Millicent looked at Theodore in disbelief, her face showing a mixture of anger and sadness.

"The school does not allow fighting between students, and you can't use spells on me!"

She screamed, attracting the attention of other students in the lounge.

"I didn't do anything! I've never seen Olga's diary! Who can enter her room!"

Ginny had just returned to the common room when she heard Millicent's words.

"It's really you."

Theodore's lips curled up: "I didn't say where Olga's diary was lost."

Millicent was flustered for a moment.

"Where else could it be lost? Who dares to steal in front of her..."

Her eyes were evasive, and anyone who saw her would think there was something wrong with her.

"Oh, don't you think you are being inconsistent? You said that no one could enter Olga's room, and then you said that no one dared to steal things in front of her. How could that thing disappear without a trace?!"

Ginny couldn't help but sneer. Although she couldn't stand the fact that Theodore always went to and from school with Olga, it was obvious that Millicent was the biggest enemy at the moment.

"Is anyone talking to you?! You poor Weasley! You might be an undercover agent of Gryffindor!"

Millicent cursed Ginny without any scruples. She hated everyone who was on good terms with Olga equally.

"Give me the diary."

Theodore was not interested in the quarrel between the two girls, he just wanted to get Olga's things.

"I've already told you I'm not! Even if you're biased, you can't be so excessive! I've liked you for so long, why can't you just look at me? Why does that damn Olga--"

Before Millicent could finish her words, she was knocked away by Theodore's spell and hit the wall.

"Watch your mouth, is she something you can say?"

Deep eddies welled up in Theodore's blue eyes. If it weren't for the school, he really wanted to cast an unforgivable curse on this Bulstrode.

Millicent coughed from the blow, but she kept staring at Theodore.

"What did I say wrong? Just because you like her, you can arbitrarily accuse others and bully others... But does she have you in her eyes? Theodore... She can't see you at all. She would rather date those stupid lions than take a good look at you..."

"Why...why can't you look back at me...I obviously love you so much...I can do anything for you! Even sell my soul! But what about her! What can she do for you! Only I...only I am your best choice..."

Millicent seemed to be possessed by a demon, crying and shouting to Theodore about her inner resentment.

Ginny looked at the disheveled Millicent with difficulty, then turned to look at Theodore.

Although she is a zero-plus party, it must be said that Theodore is also very handsome, and Millicent...

The words are quite touching, but standing next to Theodore, it really looks like a beautiful man and the beast.

The storm in his blue eyes grew deeper and deeper. He knew that he was not Olga's only choice, and he couldn't stand those beautiful women who surrounded her all day long.

But his kitten won't tolerate any interference.
