HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 28 Snape's Concern

After Draco made the mistake in making the wrong ingredients for the third time and ruined the entire potion, Snape finally lost his patience.

"Has your brain turned into a troll? Draco, I thought you knew you had to pay close attention when brewing a potion!"

Draco was busy cleaning up the mess, but when he heard Snape's words, he suddenly stopped and hung his head in frustration.

"Godfather...Olga has been acting so strange lately."

Snape paused after hearing the name, and asked casually, "Why?"

Draco seemed to have opened up.

"She teleports to the classroom every day for class, and immediately returns to the dormitory after class. She doesn't even come to the auditorium for meals. I suspect she hasn't even eaten during this period. She has lost weight..."

"She has no expression every day, like a machine. She never opens her mouth except for occasionally speaking a few words when collaborating with Nott on class assignments."

"Won't she get mad?"

……

As Snape listened to Draco's constant mumbling, he inexplicably thought of Olga treating his leg injury and cold.

She's definitely not in a good state lately.

I was actually willing to touch those disgusting medicinal herbs during class.

"I see."

He interrupted Draco's rambling.

"I'll let her stay after class tomorrow. If you have any questions, ask them yourself."

He was just a poor dean who cared about every student equally, and by the way, he helped his poor godson to untie his knot and stop wasting his potion.

It's not that I can't stand seeing Olga's lifeless appearance.

In the Potions class the next day, Olga was in the same group with Theodore as usual.

Of course Theodore knew that Kitty was not in a good state recently, but his intuition told him that he should not interfere too much in her life at this time, otherwise he might fall into the same situation as others.

So apart from things related to the course, he consciously didn't ask too many questions and focused on being a companion.

"Let me take care of the rat's tail."

This class is about making a hair-standing potion, and one of the ingredients is rat tail. Theodore has never been willing to let Olga touch those disgusting things.

"No, you brew the potion and I'll handle the ingredients."

Before, Theodore basically handled the medicinal materials alone. To be fair, she has to make up for it now.

It's just an ugly thing, nothing to be ashamed of.

Theodore looked at Olga's actions and was about to say something, but he hesitated. A kitten should be carefree and follow his heart, and there is no need to force himself.

Zero also noticed this scene. Ever since Olga began to unilaterally alienate everyone, he knew that Her Highness had decided to isolate herself again, just like four years ago.

Although he did not like those who had ill intentions towards Olga, if His Highness could feel happy, he would rather be ignored by His Highness than see His Highness being indifferent to everything.

Zero's eyes darkened. Fred and George must have done something to make His Highness sad.

When Snape passed by Olga and Theodore's table, he saw the girl, who should have been full of disgust, dealing with the rat tails without changing her expression.

……

It turned out that he was seriously ill.

Snape tapped Olga's desk lightly and said with a straight face, "Stay after class."

Olga paused while fiddling with the herbs. She had to give her dean some face.

"Got it, Professor."

After class, some little wizards were eager to go up and say hello to Olga when they saw that she didn't leave. However, they were deterred by the "keep away" expression on Olga's face.

Or maybe next time, life is more important.

Just as Hermione and the other three were about to approach Olga, they heard a voice urging them to die from the podium.

"You self-righteous giants, do you want to stay in this dark and damp cellar for a visit? If you don't want to be deducted points, disappear from here now, immediately!"

Snape felt upset when he saw the face that looked exactly like James'.

"We just want to care about our classmates!"

Harry was somewhat reckless.

"Potter talked back to the teacher, Gryffindor will deduct five points."

Professor Snape spoke the most vicious words in his deepest, most beautiful voice.

Harry wanted to say something else, but Hermione covered his mouth and dragged him out of the classroom.

"Hermione! He's taking points maliciously!"

Harry complained after he broke free.

"Of course I know! But can't you see? Olga doesn't want to contact us, Snape is helping her!"

Ron frowned as if he had eaten a slug and asked, "Why? Would she rather face Snape's dead face than communicate with us lovely people?"

Hermione stopped talking, she didn't know either.

She turned to look at Zero who was also silent, and it was obvious that he didn't know either.

Hermione secretly glanced at the scarf wrapped tightly around the boy's neck. Alas, poor boy.

After they left, only Olga, Snape and the hesitant Draco were left in the cellar.

When Olga saw Draco's expression, she knew that Snape must have kept her here today because of his beloved godson.

Snape was a little disgusted with Draco's useless look, but after all, he was the one who kept him, and it would not be good if he was not there.

I could only pretend to be busy organizing the uneven class assignments while pricking up my ears.

"Olga..."

Draco hesitated for a long time before calling out Olga's name. He actually had a lot of questions to ask, but he was a little scared when he saw Olga's expressionless face.

How does Dad comfort Mom when she is angry?

"What's up?"

Olga's cold and indifferent voice sounded, and Draco became even more nervous.

"...Yes!" Draco suddenly had an idea. "Do you remember what you promised me? The Quidditch match is about to start! Will you...come to watch me play?"

Olga was silent for a moment, and under Draco's cautious gaze, she said, "Yes."

Thatcher said that as the crown prince, he must be responsible for every word he says.

Draco's spirits brightened a little.

"You--" He was about to press on with his victory, but was interrupted by Olga.

"Professor, anything else?"

Snape felt embarrassed for a moment as if he had been caught, but he did not show it and shook his head dignifiedly.

"Then I'll go back first."

Olga nodded politely to Snape and Draco, then disappeared from their sight.

The cellar suddenly became even quieter, with only Snape who looked lost in thought and Draco who looked aggrieved and pursed his lips left.

He hasn't finished yet.

"Godfather... has Olga been under some kind of spell? Is there any potion that can help her return to normal?"

Draco began to ramble.

Severus Potions Master Snape's mouth twitched slightly. If possible, he really didn't want to admit that such a person was his godson.

"I'm sure if your brain isn't full of sphinxes, you should take the initiative to let your poor godfather deal with this pile of garbage in peace."

Whose spell could control the little prince without anyone noticing?

If there really were such powerful wizards, then they wouldn't have to worry about the Dark Lord's revival.

"I just don't want to bother with you."

Draco was stabbed by Snape before he left.

Oops, I feel like crying.
