HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts
Chapter 18 Forbidden Forest
These two mountains...Olga was speechless.
"It's not that I have confidence, it's your strength. Look at the students at Hogwarts. They are afraid of your pranks on the surface, but secretly they like them very much."
Even the self-righteous pure-blood little wizards in Slytherin were interested in Weasley's products.
Fred and George were so soft-hearted at the moment. Listening to Olga seriously analyzing the pros and cons for them and affirming their abilities was an experience they had never had before.
You know, even their mother thinks they are not doing their jobs properly, but Olga believes they can achieve great things in the future.
"Please trust my judgment, gentlemen. I have never lost money in any business I have chosen."
"We trust you unconditionally, Your Highness." George took Olga's hand and kissed it.
"But it's not the right time for the joke shop yet. We haven't graduated yet." Fred said with some regret.
"Oh, Satan, I was inconsiderate. I forgot that you still have to go to school! So how about the business with the vampires wait a bit—"
"That won't affect our studies!" Fred interrupted her.
"We are researching food for our dear Princess!" George also added.
"That's exactly what we want," they both said at the same time.
"Well, okay then. Someone will contact you regarding the follow-up cooperation matters."
Olga was overwhelmed by the twins' enthusiasm.
"But - I have one more request." George suddenly said.
Olga looked at him in confusion.
"When we open the Weasley store, please join us."
Fred didn't expect George's request to be this, but he didn't stop him.
Olga thought she had heard it wrong: "What?"
"Be our boss lady!" Fred's eyes lit up.
"what?!"
"Buy shares!"
Olga rolled her eyes unhappily and said, "I'm fine with investing, but I won't talk to the boss lady."
"Why!" they both said at the same time.
"hehe."
"You won't suffer any loss if you have two..." Fred muttered softly. George didn't want this brother anymore.
Olga deliberately smiled: "I am the future king, I can have as much as I want."
"Really?" Fred shouted in disbelief, "Two more won't matter..."
Olga's mouth twitched: "Don't be crazy, Fred. I have no objection to partnership, but wouldn't it be better for you to open your own store? Why give others a commission?"
"You are not someone else. It is settled then, Princess."
George scratched Olga's nose, earning a frown from the latter.
"If you're not afraid of losing out, then do as you please." Olga turned around and was about to leave. After a pause, she added, "I haven't congratulated you on winning the game yet, Fred and...George."
As the words fell, Olga half raised her hand and gently twisted her index finger, and Fred and George felt that the injuries on their bodies disappeared.
The two of them immediately stuck close to her like puppies and walked towards the Slytherin common room.
"What you just said... is it true?" George asked carefully in Olga's ear.
"what do you mean?"
"It's just...that...you can have as much as you want..." George found it a little difficult to speak.
"You are the only ones who can joke around, but I can't?" Olga said expressionlessly.
"Are you kidding?!" Fred, who had been eavesdropping, couldn't help but interrupt.
"Yes and no."
"what?"
"I really don't have that idea, but if I did - who could stop me?"
Fred and George were speechless, as if that were the case, so angry.
Olga glanced at the two of them and felt like laughing.
"Then can you please not have--" George was interrupted by Fred before he could finish his words, "Or you can give priority to us!"
Olga was too lazy to pay attention to them. She walked to the door of the Slytherin common room and was about to go in when she was stopped by the two men.
"If you don't say anything, I'll take that as your consent, little snake." Fred grinned.
Before Olga could retort, George suddenly stuffed something into her hand, then quickly leaned over and kissed her cheek, then ran away with Fred.
Damn, a sneak attack.
Olga thought angrily. She looked down and saw that the blood lollipop that she had not accepted last time was now lying quietly in her palm.
Olga felt as if her heart was gently hit somewhere, and the corners of her mouth could not help but rise.
She tore open the candy wrapper and put the candy in her mouth. Hmm, this time it was the taste of two people.
—
Fred was dragged into their secret base by George.
"Talk about it, my dear brother." George began without a trace of smile.
Fred didn't dare to look his brother in the eye, and said to himself: "You guessed it all."
George silently looked at Fred, who had been inseparable from him since childhood. They had always been in sync with each other, so tacit that they now liked the same person.
He had a vague feeling before that his brother might have been attracted to her without realizing it.
"Fair play, Fred." George said slowly.
Fred looked at George in shock: "You, you don't blame me?"
George patted Fred on the shoulder: "She's so nice, it's no wonder you like her."
Fred was in mixed feelings, as he had originally wanted to help George pursue Olga, but his own feelings had subtly soured.
He thought about quitting to help his brother, but he was completely defeated when facing Olga.
"Besides... there are so many people eyeing her." George thought of the other boys and narrowed his eyes.
"Sorry, bro, but you're right." Fred cheered up, "Then... I think she must like the taste of 'Fred' the best."
George sneered: "You wish. He obviously prefers 'George'."
"No! She tasted 'Fred' first last time!"
"She just took one at random!"
The two men stared at each other for a long time, then laughed and punched each other.
"Do you think little snakes would like cakes?"
"You can try it."
The two of them started studying the new product arm in arm again.
—
After the game, Harry overheard the conversation between Quirrell and Snape by the Forbidden Forest, which made him more convinced of his guess - Quirrell had been looking for an opportunity to steal the Philosopher's Stone.
He told his other friends about this, and they decided to tell Hagrid about their discovery that night.
After curfew, Harry and his four companions sneaked into Hagrid's hut. Hagrid obviously didn't expect these people to be so bold, and quickly closed the door after they entered the house.
"What's the matter?" Hagrid asked them to sit down, but he looked a little uneasy.
"We're here to tell you that we already know that what you took out of Gringotts was the Philosopher's Stone. It's in the room with the three-headed dog on the fourth floor." Hermione refused Hagrid's ferret sandwich and spoke seriously.
"And we found out Quirrell wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone!" Ron exaggeratedly took over Hermione's words.
"What? That's impossible. I don't know why you know about Fluffy, but there's nothing wrong with the professors in the school. They also designed mechanisms to protect the Philosopher's Stone - including Quirrell, so there's no need for you to doubt him." Hagrid said, shaking his beard.
Harry and the others didn't say anything, but they all knew in their hearts that Quirrell must have found a way to figure out the mechanisms of the other teachers, except, it seemed, Snape's potions and how to get past the three-headed dog.
Thinking of this, Harry asked anxiously: "Hagrid, you are the only one who knows how to get past Fluffy, right?"
"No one will know except me and Dumbledore," said Hagrid proudly.
"That's good, don't tell anyone!" Hermione warned again. She thought Hagrid's mouth was really unreliable.
Hagrid responded absentmindedly, and at this time everyone noticed that there was a black egg lying in the hearth in the middle of the fire, and it was still trembling slightly.
"Oh, Merlin," Ron said, eyes wide with disbelief, as he walked over to the fire and squatted down, "you must have spent a fortune on this, didn't you?"
"What is that?" Ling was a little confused.
"Dragon eggs! Charlie has been studying dragons in Romania, so I know them all too well. Where did you get them?"
"I won it from a stranger. I don't know why, but he seemed to be eager to lose to me."
At this moment, the dragon egg shook even more violently, and Hagrid quickly put on his gloves and held it on the table.
Several people stared at the dragon egg intently. With a scratching sound, the egg cracked. A little dragon stood up staggeringly, sneezed, and a few sparks came out of its nose.
"It's so beautiful, isn't it? Oh, it must think I'm its mother."
Hagrid gently reached out his hand and tentatively touched the dragon's head. The dragon shook its head and spit out a flame that singed Hagrid's beard.
Harry and the others were startled, but Hagrid didn't care: "It must be too excited, right? Little Norbert." He had already named the little dragon.
"But what are you going to do in the future? This is a Norwegian Ridgeback. It will grow very big. Where are you going to keep it?" Ron asked worriedly.
"I, I know I can't keep it forever, but it's too small now, I can't throw it away." Hagrid said sadly.
"Who's there?!" Zero suddenly asked loudly, quickly walked to the window and opened the curtains. Everyone saw only a little platinum head.
"It's Malfoy." Harry's face turned pale. "He will definitely tell the professor everything that happened here!"
The four of them hurriedly left the cabin and headed towards the castle, hoping to get back to the dormitory before the professor.
Draco was very dissatisfied with the fact that those stupid lions of Gryffindor often looked for Olga in secret, especially that abominable savior who stole the limelight in two Quidditch matches!
So when he accidentally saw four people plotting, his intuition told him that these people would violate school rules.
Sure enough, he was found squatting at the castle gate, but who knew that stupid big guy would actually get a dragon! A live little dragon!
After being discovered by several people, he quickly ran to Professor McGonagall to complain, but selfishly concealed the matter of the little dragon. Merlin knew that he had begged his father many times but was not able to have his own dragon.
When he and Professor McGonagall stopped the four people, Draco was satisfied to see the frightened expressions on the faces of those stupid lions.
"I can't believe it's you guys. Don't forget it's one in the morning. Please explain to me." Professor McGonagall was very angry.
Harry and the others were unable to answer, and for a moment, only Draco's mocking voice filled the air.
"I've never encountered anything like this before - four people wandering around outside the castle at night without sleeping. What if something unexpected happens?! Fifty points deducted from Gryffindor!"
"Fifty?!" Harry gasped.
"It's fifty per person."
"Professor - please -"
"No need to say more, Mr. Potter, everyone must pay the price for their actions. All five of you will be put in detention!" said Professor McGonagall coldly.
"Wait, Professor, did I hear you right, five?" Draco, who was watching the show, looked at Professor McGonagall with wide eyes.
"There's nothing wrong with your ears, Mr. Malfoy. Although you reminded me with good intentions, it is undeniable that you also violated the school rules. Okay, all of you, go to bed now."
Draco glared at Harry and went back to bed angrily.
Harry and his three companions had a difficult time in the days that followed. They caused the house to lose 200 points in one fell swoop. The Gryffindor students couldn't help but roll their eyes when they saw them.
Only the Slytherin students would greet them enthusiastically, because the Savior's generosity made their house cup a sure win.
"Don't worry, they'll soon forget about it. Fred and George have been losing points since they started school, but people still like them." Ron comforted Harry.
"But they never lose 200 points at once, do they?" Harry said sadly.
"Not really." Ron said honestly, "But we are also fighting for the Philosopher's Stone! There are always many setbacks before victory!"
"Maybe you're right." Harry was still listless.
—
Olga was speechless about Draco's boring behavior, but she did not blame him. She just encouraged him before he was about to go to detention.
"Come on." After saying that, he returned to the dormitory without any reluctance.
How cruel, Draco thought.
Filch smiled sinisterly when he saw the five people being sentenced to detention.
"You should be thankful. In the past, students who were sentenced to detention would be hung from the ceiling - I still have those chains in my office, maybe they'll come in handy someday."
Draco was so frightened that his face turned pale.
Filch and a few others came to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, where Hagrid, who had been waiting for a long time, was standing.
"Don't even think about running away, that would be even worse. Today's detention is in the Forbidden Forest." Filch gave them a warning look.
"Forbidden Forest?! I don't want to go in! I heard there are werewolves in there--" Draco stopped abruptly.
"That's not up to you." Hagrid said coldly, "It's getting late, let's get going."
Unlike Draco's reaction, Harry and the others were very grateful to be able to be with Hagrid.
"I'm not going into this forbidden forest! If my father knew—"
"Your father is not at Hogwarts. If you want to stay in school, you must go in," said Hagrid mercilessly.
Draco curled his lips and said nothing more.
"Okay, now listen carefully, what we are going to do tonight is very dangerous. Follow me first."
