Balala the Magic Fairy

The soil in Liutuzhou has six different colors: hard soil, weak soil, loam soil, sandy soil, resting soil, and consumable soil. Each soil contains unique power. According to legend, this land was once the pasture of ancient gods, and each soil gave birth to different mythical beasts.

Yan Lili and the other two traveled on this magical land for several days. With their magical powers, it was no problem for them to travel a million miles a day. However, in the past few days, they still could not cross this vast state.

"The soil here is so strange, some of it is as hard as rock, and some of it is as soft as cotton." Xiaoyue squatted down and gently touched the soil under her feet.

Zhu Bajie knocked the ground with his nine-toothed rake, making a crisp sound: "This soil is really hard. Even my rake can't break it."

Yan Lili looked around. Her spiritual awareness seemed to be suppressed here and could not detect too far.

At this moment, a melodious flute sound came from not far away. The sound was so clear and pleasant that it seemed to penetrate people's hearts.

"What's that sound?" Xiaoyue asked curiously.

Zhu Bajie scratched his head and said, "It sounds like a shepherd's flute, but the sound seems to contain the power of the Great Dao."

The three of them followed the direction of the flute sound and soon came to an open grassland. On the grassland, a woman in a green shirt was sitting on a boulder, playing a jade flute. Her eyes were clear, as if she could see through everything in the world.

"Mu Yundi, the fairy of Mucun." Yan Lili said in a low voice. She had read the legend about this fairy in ancient books. It was said that her flute sound could summon magical beasts and heal wounds.

The fairy Mucun seemed to have noticed their arrival. She stopped playing, turned around, and smiled at the three people: "Dear travelers from afar, welcome to Liutuzhou."

Yan Lili and the other two bowed respectfully: "Fairy, we have no intention of disturbing you, we are just attracted by your flute playing."

Fairy Mucun stood up, jumped lightly, and floated down from the boulder. Her movements were as light as the wind: "It's okay!"

Then, she scanned the three people and said, "You seem to have an extraordinary aura, and you seem to be extraordinary people... There are very few outsiders in Liutuzhou. I wonder why you are here?"

Yan Lili replied: "The three of us are going to the West to ask the Buddha for help in rescuing a friend."

Fairy Mucun nodded. She waved her hand and a vast map appeared in the minds of the three people. "This is a map of Liutuzhou. There are some dangerous places marked on it. You must be careful."

Yan Lili said gratefully: "Thank you, fairy."

Fairy Mucun waved her hand and said, "You're welcome. I'm just repaying a favor to an old friend! In this case, we'll say goodbye now. I hope you have a safe journey."

After saying this, her figure turned into a wisp of green smoke and disappeared at the end of the grassland.

Yan Lili and the other two looked in the direction where Fairy Mucun left, their hearts filled with respect.

"This Mucun fairy is so powerful. She even knows my Monkey King." Zhu Bajie exclaimed.

Xiaoyue was full of admiration: "She has such an elegant temperament. I also want to be a fairy like her."
