I still remember when I first entered the police academy, the spacious auditorium was packed with people.

Yet, look at today, there are so few people here.

But please believe me, even in this situation, I am still proud of every student who has stayed here. You have successfully overcome the fear that is unimaginable to ordinary people, and resolutely chosen to embark on this road full of thorns but always shining with the light of justice, and have thrown yourself into the ranks of selfless dedication without hesitation.

I understand your concerns and I understand your worries about this career.

I stand here today not to sugarcoat the truth, nor will I easily make you an empty promise that sounds good but has no practical guarantee.

Here, I sincerely want to tell you: the profession of police, by its nature, is a special job that may encounter various dangerous situations at any time and anywhere.

If you cannot maintain your unwavering faith and perseverance, if you are timid and afraid of facing possible sacrifices, then I sincerely advise you to drop out of school as soon as possible!

You should know that doing so is not only a responsible act for your own life safety and future development path, but more importantly, it is also a responsibility and commitment to the general public!

Maybe what I said may sound a bit harsh, but please believe that I did not mean to do so.

After all, looking around, there is hardly any regular college or university that would be so decisive as to persuade students to drop out on the first day of enrollment.

However, where we are now is a police academy, a police academy that has experienced the 1207 case!

Because of this, I hope everyone can understand my rude and even somewhat arrogant attitude and behavior.

As a police officer, this job involves more than just courage.
