Reborn Naruto: Starting with its own system
Chapter 130: Defection from the Village
Naruto stared at the two coffins, his heart was filled with mixed emotions. Lying in the coffins were his parents, whom he had only really met once when he was young. Although their lives had disappeared in the long river of time many years ago, their deep love and silent protection were like warm sunshine, accompanying him every step of his growth.
Afterwards, Naruto carefully performed the eye technique and put the two coffins into the spiritual space. Then, he slowly walked towards another grave.
Soon, he arrived in front of the tombstone of the Third Hokage. He bent down deeply, bowed solemnly, and said with gratitude: "Grandpa Third, thank you for your careful care and deep trust in me. Don't worry, I will definitely resurrect you in a short time." After saying this, he began to dig vigorously.
After Naruto took away the coffins of the Third Generation and his parents, he finally came to the Hokage Rock. He stood there quietly, like a silent sculpture. His eyes slowly scanned the area below, which was the entire Konoha Village, the place where he had lived for more than ten years.
The moonlight shines on him, stretching his figure. Every street and every house carries his memories. Those days of training with his buddies, those moments of struggling in adversity but still not giving up, those moments of laughter and tears, all come flooding back to his mind at this moment.
Although he was reluctant to leave, as if he was being pulled by a thousand strands of attachment, he knew that it was time to say goodbye. This was a difficult decision, like giving up a part of his body. But he also understood that the mission he was carrying was a responsibility that transcended personal emotions.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. In his heart, he silently said goodbye to everyone in the village and every familiar corner.
"Konoha Village, I will be back." Naruto whispered, and the voice drifted away in the wind. Then, he turned around, never looked back, and walked out of the village with a resolute step. His figure gradually faded away, leaving only the familiar statues on the Hokage Rock, still quietly guarding Konoha Village.
On the other side, Tsunade, who had been looking for Naruto in vain, finally gave up helplessly. When she returned to the Hokage's office, she was surprised to find Kakashi in the office. Tsunade was worried and asked in confusion, "Kakashi, what's the matter?"
Kakashi saw Tsunade coming in and immediately reported with a serious expression: "Tsunade-sama, I just came back from the cemetery. I originally wanted to visit a friend, but when I stepped into the cemetery, I was shocked to find that the tombs of the Third Hokage and the Fourth Hokage and his wife had been dug up. Moreover, the coffins of the three of them had disappeared."
After hearing this, Tsunade's face instantly turned extremely ugly. Naruto's previous strange behaviors immediately emerged in her mind, and she had an ominous premonition in her heart. She frowned, pondered for a moment and said, "This matter is a bit strange. The Third Hokage and the Fourth Hokage have important positions in the village. Who would do such a thing?"
Kakashi frowned slightly and said, "I also think this matter is very serious. Grave digging is absolutely not allowed in the village. It is a great disrespect to the deceased. I suspect there may be some ulterior motive behind this."
Tsunade paced back and forth in the office. She began to connect the dots. The strange things Naruto said before, his sudden disappearance, and what happened in the cemetery now, all seemed to be related in some way. She gritted her teeth and said, "Kakashi, we must investigate this matter as soon as possible. I suspect this matter is related to Naruto."
Kakashi was a little surprised when he heard Tsunade say this, "Naruto? Why would you doubt him?"
Tsunade sighed and said, "Naruto came to see me before and said some strange things, and then disappeared. Shizune just reported to me that Naruto killed Danzo. Now something like this happened in the cemetery again, and I think he is involved."
Kakashi frowned, thinking about this series of complicated and difficult situations in his mind. He slowly said: "As you said, if it was really Naruto who did these things, then he must have his own reasons. Although Naruto sometimes acts impulsively, he always has his own persistence and bottom line in his heart."
Tsunade nodded slightly and said with a worried look on her face, "Of course I know that Naruto is not a bad person, but his behavior this time is really too abnormal. I have temporarily suppressed the news of Danzo's death, but now there is the theft of the coffins of the Third Hokage and the Fourth Hokage. If it is not handled properly as soon as possible, the village may fall into a state of panic."
Kakashi frowned even deeper, and asked, "So what should we do now? Do we need to send people to search for Naruto's whereabouts immediately?"
Tsunade's eyes instantly became extremely sharp, and she said firmly: "That's right, we must do our best to search for Naruto. Kakashi, now I order you to issue an emergency notice and let all jonin and ninjas above their level gather in the office immediately. This is a matter of great importance to the safety of the village. We must race against time to find Naruto as soon as possible and solve the mystery behind it to prevent the village from falling into a greater crisis."
Kakashi immediately took the order and left the Hokage's office at lightning speed to convey Tsunade's order. Not long after, the jonin and higher-level ninjas arrived at the office one after another.
Their faces were filled with confusion and solemnity, wondering what was so urgent. After everyone had gathered, Tsunade stood in front and said solemnly, "Everyone, we have gathered you here today because something extremely serious has happened in the village. First, Danzo has died unexpectedly; second, the coffins of the Third Hokage and the Fourth Hokage and his wife have been stolen. These things are closely related to Naruto."
Everyone was shocked when they heard the news, and they whispered to each other. Tsunade continued, "I know this is unbelievable, but this is the current situation. We must find Naruto as soon as possible and find out the truth. I need everyone to work in groups and conduct a comprehensive search in every corner of the village and the surrounding areas."
