Phoenix's eyelids felt heavy as if he had been cast under a sleeping spell.

He was in a deep dream. He had watched the third Harry Potter movie last night and had almost stayed awake the whole night.

For the sake of his future happy life with Astoria, he has made a series of plans to avoid the plot.

Today, he decided to completely relax and enjoy a leisurely weekend.

In other words – sleep in!

The sunlight shines through the windows of Hogwarts Castle and falls on the warm bed.

But Phoenix chose to ignore this natural alarm clock. He just wanted to indulge in dreams and let his tired body get enough rest.

Even though it's his birthday, a day that should be celebrated, Phoenix isn't planning on making a big deal about it.

Only Draco Malfoy knew his birthday, and Draco should, probably, not tell anyone else, right?

Astoria's voice rang in her ears, her voice carrying a hint of anxiety and expectation, trying to wake up the sleeping Phoenix.

"Get up, get up quickly!"

Her voice is like the morning dew, fresh and full of vitality.

But Phoenix was still immersed in his dream.

With no response to any sounds from the outside world, his body lay limply on the bed like a puddle of mud.

Seeing this, Astoria decided to take a more direct approach.

She gently plucked a strand from her hair, which gleamed golden in the sunlight.

She deftly folded her hair in half and carefully placed it into Phoenix's ear.

Her movements were gentle and rhythmic, as if she was playing a silent piece of music.

Her fingers slid gently across Phoenix's earlobe, as if playing a song of "light plucking, slow rubbing, wiping, and picking".

Phoenix's eyes suddenly opened, as if awakened by a sudden force.

But then he indulged in the feeling of comfort again, closed his eyes again, and couldn't help but sigh in his heart:

"Ah, so comfortable!"

The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, enjoying this moment of tranquility and pleasure.

However, Astoria's movements suddenly stopped, which made Phoenix feel a little confused.

He opened his eyes, looked at Astoria with a hint of confusion, and asked:

"Why don't you continue?"

There was a hint of laziness and reluctance in his voice, as if he wanted to continue immersing himself in that tingling feeling.

Astoria turned around with a satisfied smile on her face, and she nodded and said:

"You're awake, so get up!"

There was a hint of playfulness and pride in her voice, as if she was saying:

"My mission is accomplished, now it's your turn."

After saying that, she jumped off the bed lightly, leaving Phoenix with her back, leaving him to face the morning alone.

Phoenix was stunned, still savoring the comfort he had just felt. He couldn't help wondering:

"Weren't you picking your ears? Why did you leave so suddenly?"

His eyes followed Astoria's back, his mind full of questions.

He sat there for a while, still holding on to a glimmer of hope, wanting to continue enjoying the comfort of his nap.

However, he soon discovered that the sleepiness had quietly left, replaced by an indescribable sense of wakefulness.

"I don't know how Astoria did it, but my ears are still itchy now. That tingling feeling, wow!"

Phoenix sighed in his heart and gently touched his ears with his hands.

It seemed as if I was looking for that tingling feeling, but found that it had quietly disappeared.

Helplessly, Phoenix could only accept the reality. He sat up from the bed, stretched, and then slowly walked to the bathroom.

He heard the sound of running water and began to wash up, getting ready for the new day.

Although his birthday was not celebrated with great fanfare, at least he had Astoria's company, which was enough to make him feel warm and happy.

After Phoenix finished washing up, he smiled at himself in the mirror.

He knew that even without a big party today, his birthday could still be meaningful.

Just at this moment, Phoenix's eyes inadvertently swept across the window, and an owl flapped its wings and landed steadily on the windowsill.

He was quite surprised by the appearance of this owl, since he was in Hogwarts.

Owls usually only brought letters in the morning when they went to the Great Hall for dinner.

Phoenix quickly opened the window and let the owl in.

He said to himself:

"Aren't owls sent in the morning when we go to the Great Hall for lunch?"

Then he carefully removed the letter tied to the owl's leg, unfolded the letter, and began to read.

The content of the letter made his heart sink suddenly. It read:

"Dear Mr. Malfoy, please return to Malfoy Manor immediately after reading this letter. Your mother is in my hands now."

"If you do not want her to come to harm, please come to Malfoy Manor immediately."

Phoenix's face turned pale in an instant, and sparks of anger and worry flashed in his eyes.

The cold gaze seemed to be able to penetrate the letter and point directly at the person behind the letter.

He turned to look at Astoria who was still in the bathroom and hesitated for a moment.

He didn't want to make her worry, nor did he want her to be involved in this sudden crisis.

So he decided to take action. Phoenix quickly used magic to write a sentence on the paper:

“Astoria, there’s an emergency at home, I’m going to go back first, wait for me to come back.”

Then, he concentrated his mind, transformed into a beautiful white phoenix, flapped his wings and flew high, teleporting away from Hogwarts.

Astoria heard the noise in the room and came out of the bathroom curiously.

She heard the cry of a phoenix and was delighted, thinking that it was Phoenix showing his magic.

But when she walked out, she found that the room was empty, with only the wind outside the window gently blowing the curtains.

Astoria frowned, feeling a little uneasy. She walked around and finally found the note left by Phoenix on the desk.

As she read the contents of the note, a surge of anger rose in her heart and she pouted, feeling worried and confused.

Then she decided to walk out of the dormitory and go ask Draco if he knew what was going on.
