One Piece: Capture the Goddess and Become Stronger

Chapter 192: A huge wave of despair

Just when a group of prisoners were filled with joy and relief at having finally escaped from the desperate Impelton Prison, there was suddenly an unusual smell in the air.

A sharp-eyed prisoner named Jack noticed something was wrong. He suddenly stopped cheering and raised his hands. His eyes pierced through the clouds and mist. His face suddenly changed. He pointed into the distance and shouted:

"Everyone, look! What is that?"

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound, and saw on the distant sea level, a huge wave that they had never seen before was "laughing wildly".

The huge wave seemed to have locked onto them and was surging towards them with an unstoppable force.

The huge waves contained the wrath of heaven and earth. Every drop of water shone with heavy momentum. The height of the waves almost covered half of the sky.

What was even more frightening was that the direction in which this huge wave was surging was directly towards the place they had just escaped from - Impelton!

"This...what is going on?!" Luffy gasped, his eyes widened, and muttered to himself in disbelief. An ominous premonition surged in his heart.

"This is a doldrums zone... How could there be such a huge wave?!"

Ivankov frowned and tried to analyze the situation:

"Could it be that some mechanism in Impelton was triggered? But I have never heard of them having such a method..."

Lightning's expression remained calm: "Maybe there was a drastic geological change on the seabed?"

Buggy looked horrified and said in a trembling voice:

"No... No matter what the reason is, we have to find a way to get out of here! This wave is enough to swallow all of us!"

However, the reality is cruel.

Without the support of a boat, they were like a tree without roots, and could only helplessly move forward with the whale shark below them. If they continued like this, sooner or later they would be thrown off the whale shark's huge back.

As the huge waves approached, an unprecedented feeling of oppression made it difficult for everyone to breathe.

"What should we do...what can we do?"

No one could answer this question, they could only watch as the huge wave swallowed them up.

In less than a moment, the huge waves finally hit the whale shark and them, and the powerful force instantly swept them up.

The prisoners, along with a group of nearby whale sharks, were ruthlessly swept away by the huge waves and rushed towards the horrific place they had just escaped from - Impelton.

"Hold on tight, everybody!"

Luffy shouted, and even though he himself was reeling, he still tried his best to reach out and try to grab every companion he could.

"Guluuluulu..."

The next moment, Luffy was trapped in the waves. He could only hold his breath and was helplessly carried away by the waves.

What does this mean? Do what you can!

"Damn it! We just escaped this time, and now we are really doomed..."

Bucky screamed desperately, but even in such a desperate situation, his eyes still flickered with the desire to survive.

He tried to grab his feet and fly up into the sky, but his speed was like a turtle crawling in front of the waves! How could he possibly escape from the waves?

Ivankov took a deep breath and used all his strength to try to use the power of his hormones to buy a glimmer of hope for Luffy and the others:

"Don't give up. As long as you're still alive, there will always be a chance for success!"

"Death Eyes!!"

The fierce gale hit the huge waves, but it was like a drop in the ocean, unable to create a single ripple.

Amid the roar of huge waves and the struggling of whale sharks, the fate of Luffy, Ivankov, Buggy and the prisoners were once again tightly bound together.

Whether they can find a ray of hope in this sudden disaster and regain their freedom is still unknown...

……

After a while, Impelton came upstairs.

Magellan sat blankly at the port, regretting his actions. His usually invincible Poison-Poison Fruit was actually neutralized by someone without an antidote.

"Ivankov...what kind of ability does he have? He can transform into a man and a woman...the most terrifying thing is that he can even cure my poison!"

"Sex-changing fruit? No! Could it be that the 'Monster King' and 'Miracle Man'... is an animal-type, human-human fruit, mythical beast, and human-monster form?"

"Oh, forget it. Let me go back to Impelton to deal with the follow-up matters. I'm afraid my position as director is no longer secure..."

While thinking about all sorts of things, Magellan's face suddenly turned bitter, and the feeling came!

The feeling of diarrhea...

"Ah! Ah ah ah!!!"

Just as Magellan was about to return to Impelton, a loud scream suddenly came from the sky.

Magellan suddenly stopped, looked in the direction of the sound, and looked towards the sea in the distance.

“What…what is this?”

At the end of the skyline, there was a hazy fog, but there seemed to be an ominous dark blue color quietly spreading in it.

Then, a huge wave as towering as a mountain appeared.

"What the hell is this?"

Magellan was dumbfounded. He had lived in Impelton for most of his life, but he had never seen such a huge wave.

He witnessed this unprecedented spectacle, his eyes filled with astonishment and confusion.

Why?

You know, the sea area where Impelton Prison is located is a calm zone!

As the name suggests, this place is always calm and peaceful, with not even a trace of wind.

But today, this inherent impression in Magellan's mind was completely broken.

"Quick! Notify everyone and prepare emergency measures!"

Although Magellan was shocked, his sense of responsibility as the prison warden made him come to his senses quickly. While giving orders, his eyes were always fixed on the huge wave that was getting closer and closer and blocking out the sky.

However, before the order was fully conveyed, accompanied by a deafening roar, a huge wave crashed down on the first floor of Impelton like a mountain.

Luffy, Ivankov, Buggy, and the prisoners were scattered like leaves swept by a storm.

This time, due to the effect of sea water, Luffy did not have time to use his abilities, and could not act as a buffer for the prisoners like he did when he fell in Marinford in the original timeline.

In this case, how can the fate of these prisoners be described simply as "tragic"?

Some prisoners were lucky enough to land in softer places and were able to catch their breath, but they only suffered injuries such as broken legs, hands and spines.

But more of them crashed tragically into hard stone slabs or sharp reefs, losing their vital signs instantly, and the air was filled with the pungent smell of blood and despair.

Under the huge wave, Impelton suffered an unprecedented impact.

The entire first floor was destroyed, and even Level 1 and Level 2 below were squeezed beyond recognition.
