The immortal body is called Teevat

Chapter 23: First Meeting with Count Lulu

When the children heard the sound coming from the tavern door, they stopped eating voraciously and turned their curious eyes to the tavern door to see who was coming.

Wu Cheng also heard the sound at the door of the tavern. He subconsciously turned his gaze to the open door of the tavern and saw a familiar figure.

The visitor was wearing the armor of the Knights of Favonius, had an extremely tall stature, and held a Favonius greatsword in one hand.

The fiery red hair and the wavy ponytail behind her matched her crystal red eyes, but her face had a hint of childishness and sunshine.

The visitor seemed to be extremely well-educated, emitting a noble aura all the time.

Cripps was quite happy to see Diluk and said, "These kids have trekked from Solstice to Jingfu Harbor and came to the tavern to buy some food. Do you want to sit down and eat with us?"

Diluk put the Zephyr Greatsword in a suitable place, rubbed his hands and said, "It just so happens that I patrolled for a long time this morning, and I am also hungry. Then, father, I will not be polite."

Diluk looked for an empty seat and prepared to sit down, but as if fate had arranged something, there was an empty seat next to Wu Cheng.

Wu Cheng has already confirmed that the person who came to the tavern is Diluk, the son of Cripps. However, Wu Cheng was a little uncomfortable seeing Diluk being so lively and enthusiastic.

Diluk walked over without thinking too much and sat next to Wu Cheng. He looked at the young man next to him.

The boy was not tall and was rather thin, but his face gave people a sunny and cheerful feeling, and his black hedgehog hair and blood-red pupils made Diluk feel inexplicably that he exuded an evil nature.

Diluk said politely, "Hello, I am Diluk Leggenfand, Cripps is my father, do you mind if I sit here?"

Wu Cheng shook his head and said with a professional fake smile: "Hello, my name is Wu Cheng, from Liyue. Of course I don't mind you sitting here."

Diluk sat next to Wu Cheng and joined the lunch party to choose his own lunch. He ate his food elegantly with a knife and fork, which was in stark contrast to the people around him.

Soon, this pleasant lunch was over. The children were all full. The servants saw that the guests had finished eating and began to clean the table.

After the children had eaten and drunk their fill, they began to chat and talk with the people around them, and of course Diluk was no exception.

Diluk wiped his mouth with a napkin and looked at Wu Cheng, whom he had just spoken to, wanting to continue chatting with him.

Diluk asked Wu Cheng: "Wu Cheng, I heard that you have a Lantern Festival every year in Liyue. Isn't it spectacular? What do you think of Liyue's dishes compared to today's dishes?"

Wu Cheng knew about this important festival of Liyue, but the problem was that he had never been to the real Liyue Port to celebrate the real Lantern Festival.

He spent both Lantern Festivals in the game, so it would be difficult for him to describe it in detail.

Wu Cheng could only play it safe and said, "Yes, during those days people released thousands of lanterns, and even the night was lit up by the lanterns. As for the dishes, I think each has its own merits."

Diluk and Wu Cheng continued to chat. Diluk felt that as a captain of the Knights of Favonius, it was necessary to ask these children why they came to Mondstadt.

He asked Wu Cheng in a serious tone, "I heard from my father just now that you came to Jingfu Port on foot from Zhidong. What is your purpose in coming to Mondstadt?"

Wu Cheng was startled, and his expression was no longer relaxed. He just uttered a few words briefly: "We have a serious disease, and we came to Mond to find someone to help treat the disease."

Diluk looked towards his father's position again. Cripps saw Diluk looking at him and just nodded slightly without saying anything.

Diluk also understood what Cripps meant. This was his father's signal to Wu Cheng that what he said was true.

Diluk's serious expression disappeared again. He patted the nervous Wu Cheng on the shoulder and said, "Sorry, as a Knight of Favonius, I have to check the purpose of outsiders. I'm used to it. I hope I didn't scare you?"

Wu Cheng simply replied: "No, it's my duty, I understand."

"So what's your relationship with these kids? They seem to listen to you a lot."

"They are my brothers and sisters."

"Oh, I see. What are your plans after dinner?"

"Uncle Cripps has agreed to help us contact a doctor, so we have to go to Mondstadt."

After hearing what Wu Cheng said, Diluk said enthusiastically, "What a coincidence! My coming-of-age ceremony will be held at the Dawn Winery in a week. Do you want to bring your brothers and sisters along?"

Wu Cheng smiled politely and replied: "This is not appropriate, after all, we didn't pay for this meal..."

Diluk put his arm around Wu Cheng and said, "It's okay, don't feel embarrassed. We are a wealthy family, it's just a meal."

As he was talking, Diluk glanced at his father Cripps and asked, "Father will agree, right?"

Cripps smiled and said, "The Legenfind family prides itself on hospitality. How could I disagree with you, my son?"

Diluk looked at Wu Cheng and spread his hands and said, "You see, my father agrees with my idea. I also hope that my coming-of-age ceremony will be as lively as possible. Just treat it as a show of support."

"Okay, thank you for the invitation, Master Diluk. We will definitely attend the banquet when the time comes."

Diluk let go of Wu Cheng's shoulder and said, "Okay, okay, when you're done with the doctor, you must come to my coming-of-age ceremony."

Diluk looked at the time on the wall clock of the tavern and said reluctantly, "It's getting late. I should go on patrol. See you later."

"Okay, go and do your work."

After saying that, Diluk stood up, picked up his Favonius Greatsword, and left the tavern without looking back.

During the time Wu Cheng spent with Diluk, his evaluation of Diluk was that Diluk did not feel cold at this time, but rather had a normal, lively and cheerful fire-type feeling.

Wu Cheng also knew from Diluk's words that Diluk's coming-of-age ceremony would be in a week, and this timeline was not good.

If Wu Cheng remembered correctly, Diluk's father Cripps died after Diluk held the completion ceremony.

Because Cripps disagreed with the Fatui's behavior of recruiting Mond children (experimental subjects) to "train them well", his carriage was installed with a mechanical bird to attract the dragon under the doctor's instructions.

But Cripps did not notice anything wrong, and on the way back to Mondstadt, the entire team was attacked by a dragon.

In order to protect others and allow them to return to Mondstadt safely, Cripps took out the evil eye and fought the dragon until the last moment...

Wu Cheng compared the sunny, cheerful and extremely lively Diluk with the cold and sullen Diluk in the original work, and came to his final conclusion.

Diluk is better because he is sunny and cheerful, and fits the personality of a fire character.
