Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 493: Someone broke into Azkaban?

In the North Sea, there is a lonely island, surrounded by roaring waves and dark deep sea.

The sky was covered with thick gray clouds and was almost always gloomy, and the humid air was filled with the bitter smell of sea salt and the musty smell of decay.

There is a peculiar prison on the island. The outer wall of the prison is made of dark boulders and covered with dark green moss, as if indicating the erosion of time and loneliness.

The entire building presents a depressing sense of height, its structure is simple and bulky, without any superfluous decoration.

The figures of Dementors were floating faintly around the prison, gliding silently, sometimes circling, and sometimes diving.

The prison interior was an even more suffocating abyss. The narrow corridor was paved with cold, rough stone bricks, and the walls were dotted with dim oil lamps, which emitted a faint yellow light, barely illuminating the road ahead.

The cells were small and dark, each blocked by thick iron bars. Dementors would float through each cell from time to time, but unlike what wizards outside imagined, these Dementors did not suck anyone's happiness.

The reason is simple: I ate too much!

Since the reform of Azkaban, the food for the Dementors has been getting better and better. Now, the Dementors have even developed the bad habit of being picky eaters.

They don't care about ordinary happy emotions at all. If they want to eat, they would rather eat high-quality happy emotions. Even so, they have endless delicious food to eat every day.

With the arrival of Christmas holiday, the prisoners also started a small carnival. The Dementors were so full that they could hardly float. After checking the number of prisoners, they floated away.

Now the cells became even more lively.

In one of the cells, four prisoners were sitting together, happily sharing a meal. If it weren't for the wrong environment, most people would just think that these people were having a meal in a restaurant.

A tall wizard was sitting on the main seat, being flattered by the other three prisoners.

"Merry Christmas! Professor Karkaroff, thanks to you, we in this cell can live so comfortably."

"Yes, he is a strong learner and he easily led us to become a model potion team."

"I bet our cell has the best food this Christmas. Professor Karkaroff, we'll still be depending on you after the holidays."

"Sure, sure! Merry Christmas!" Karkaroff raised his glass and said with a smile, "We are a small collective. Let's make progress together!"

Karkaroff was not originally interested in potions, and his skills were just average. However, after arriving in Azkaban, he immediately became the best potionist in the cell.

To be honest, Karkaroff's talent for potions was not bad, and in order to make his life better, he worked hard to brew potions every day. As a result, his potion level improved rapidly.

In the end, he even remembered his role as a professor, and began to enthusiastically teach his roommates how to brew potions, leading them to improve together.

At this moment, Karkaroff no longer had the arrogance he had when he was the headmaster. He looked at the wizard on his left and asked with a kind face.

"Bob, your sentence is almost over, right? I remember you'll be out of prison in two weeks. What are your plans after you get out?"

"Yes, I will be released from prison soon after the New Year," the wizard being questioned raised his glass and respectfully toasted Karkaroff with a glass of wine. "Thanks to your teaching, my potion level has improved rapidly. I will definitely be able to find a better job when I get out this time."

"Professor Karkaroff, I never expected that I would become your roommate and receive your guidance when I entered Azkaban this time."

"It's really Merlin's blessing. I remember that you had a single room when you first came."

"Hey, what's so good about a single cell!" Kaka poured himself another glass of wine, then picked up the glass and drank it all. "The single cells are all in the deepest part of Azkaban, and they are all filled with serious criminals sentenced to life imprisonment."

"Listen, it's so lively all around, but not a single noise comes from there."

"They don't have the right to work outside, so they can only watch us go out to work and enjoy a good life. They must be envious to death."

"Originally I had no chance, but I made a deal with Minister of Magic Fudge, and he made me sign a work contract, giving me the right to work outside."

"As for those people deep in the prison..." Karkaroff shook his head, a hint of sigh in his tone, "They can only wait to die slowly in despair."

Not knowing what he was thinking of, Karkaroff raised his head, looked in the direction of London, and whispered uncertainly: "Unless..."

As soon as he finished speaking, a loud roar suddenly sounded, and the entire island shook violently.

boom--

The prisoners were shaken to the ground and the food on the table fell to the ground.

The prisoners who were awakened by the explosion looked at each other, and could see disbelief in each other's eyes.

Without bothering to clean up, they all got up, held on to the iron door of the cell and looked out. For a moment, the whole place was in a mess.

"What's going on? Someone has been sent to Azkaban? How many people are there?"

"No way, there are still such powerful people now? Doesn't this guy know that there is a large room in Azkaban that is connected to the Ministry of Magic, and the Aurors can appear here at any time?"

"There's no need for the Aurors to take action. There are so many Dementors outside, more than enough to give anyone a drink."

"No!" a prisoner who was leaning against the window and looking out at the sky shouted, "The Dementors are not moving, they are just floating in the sky."

"What's going on? Are they too full to move?"

"What was that explosion just now? Was it a Muggle bomb that fell on the island?"

Amid the noise, a horrible hissing sound reached everyone's ears, and then a large number of giant pythons emerged from the passage, silencing all the prisoners' discussions.

They leaned against the wall with fear on their faces, afraid to make any sound.

Merlin's Azkaban!

What is going on? What is that hissing sound? Is there anyone who can explain it?

Now we don’t have magic wands and we are powerless to resist these giant pythons.

Unlike the other prisoners, Karkaroff stood there in a daze, only feeling that the hissing sound was extremely familiar.

Suddenly, his eyes lit up and he rushed to the iron door of the cell, banging on it and shouting wildly.

"Master, is it you?"

"Master, I am your loyal servant Karkaroff."

"Master, I knew you would come here to save your servants..."
