Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 4: First Meeting with Dumbledore

The principal's office is a round room. It is very spacious and the furnishings in the room make the whole room look special and beautiful.

On a carved table with long and thin legs, there are all kinds of strange alchemical items and ancient silver wares, which are obviously valuable at first glance.

In a corner of the room, there was a slightly old shelf, on which stood a wrinkled and dirty wizard's hat, which was covered with patches and looked a little tattered.

Don't underestimate this wizard hat because of its appearance. It is a real antique and its value cannot be measured in gold Galleons.

This wizard hat was originally an ordinary hat worn by Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts, a thousand years ago.

After the school was founded, Gryffindor took out the hat and, along with the other three founders (Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin), injected ideas into the hat.

At the sorting ceremony before the opening banquet every year, first-year students would line up in a long line and take turns wearing the wizard hat in alphabetical order of their surnames, and then be sorted into their houses by it.

The walls of the room were covered with portraits of former principals, both male and female, snoring softly in their respective frames.

As Sebastian and the others entered the office, the portraits of the principal opened their eyes, looked at Sebastian, and whispered to each other.

One of the wizards with a goatee shouted loudly when he saw Sebastian, "Look, this is the best graduate in the history of Slytherin!"

His name is Phineas Black, and he is a headmaster from Slytherin.

Sebastian bowed to the portraits of the headmasters, then looked at the wizard behind the headmaster's desk - Albus Dumbledore.

At this time, Dumbledore was leaning in his chair, rubbing his temple gently with his slender fingers, as if he had a headache.

Hearing the voices of the portraits, Dumbledore opened his eyes. His blue eyes were so bright that they seemed to be able to see through people's hearts. The trace of fatigue in his eyes flashed and disappeared.

"Sebastian, welcome, welcome," Dumbledore stood up and walked towards Sebastian with open arms.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time. Only, if you could be nicer to the gate of Hogwarts, it's more than a thousand years old."

Sebastian hurried forward, gently hugged Dumbledore, and said playfully, "You have wronged me, Professor Dumbledore."

Sebastian glanced at Snape teasingly. "More than half of the spells that hit the door just now were cast by professors at your school."

"Besides, the gates of Hogwarts have stood for a thousand years and have blocked countless powerful spells! How could a few small curses possibly cause any damage?"

Sebastian chuckled and straightened his chest again. The Swan family crest on his chest shone exceptionally brightly. "Professor, don't forget what our family does."

"If you don't like the look of the Hogwarts gate now."

"Just a word from you."

"I promise to replace it with a brand new one for you, and expand the gate of Hogwarts at the same time. It will definitely be beautiful and grand!"

"It's free. It's my contribution to my alma mater!"

"You, you are worthy of being the famous 'Arbitrator' during school. Your eloquence is still so good." Dumbledore smiled and shook his head. "Please take a seat."

Sebastian quickly said, "Professor Dumbledore, can you let Professor Snape stay? He is also very interested in my arrival."

Dumbledore nodded, "I don't mind. Severus, you can sit down too."

After everyone was seated, Dumbledore took out his wand and asked, "What would you like to drink? Pumpkin juice? Tea?" Then he winked playfully, "Or a cup of thick butterbeer?"

Sebastian reached into his wallet, which had been cast with an invisible extension charm, and pulled out two bottles of black drinks, placing them on the headmaster's desk.

"I recommend drinking this happy water. It's very popular in the Muggle world. And in July, drinking this will keep you cool."

Dumbledore looked at the two bottles of drinks on the table with interest and sighed with nostalgia, "Coke! When I was young, I went to America and met a Muggle there."

"His name is Jacob (a character from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and he's a kind-hearted, very brave guy."

"He has helped us a lot," Dumbledore said with a knowing smile, "Many people jokingly call him 'The Chosen One'."

"He wanted to treat me to this drink, but unfortunately something happened and I never got to drink it."

"I'm going to have a good taste today." Dumbledore stretched out his hand and prepared to pour himself a glass.

Sebastian quickly said, "Professor Dumbledore, please wait a moment."

Without any movement from Sebastian, the Coke bottle was covered with white frost and emitted a slight cool breeze.

Then Sebastian stood up and personally poured everyone a full glass of Coke.

"Exquisite wandless spellcasting." Dumbledore looked at Sebastian who sat back down with admiration, "Freezing spell, perfect magic control!"

"It's amazing." Dumbledore praised and looked at the Coke in the cup. He found that the Coke was bubbling and making a crackling sound.

He picked up the cup and took a sip.

So refreshing.

sweet!

Plus, the bubbles in the cola keep bursting in your mouth, making you feel crisp and numb.

Dumbledore immediately took a liking to this Muggle drink and quickly took another sip.

Cool!

"What a pity! I'm so old, and I'm only able to drink such a delicious drink now." Dumbledore said with some regret.

Hearing Dumbledore say this, Sebastian immediately became unhappy, "Who said you are old?"

"Wizards generally have a long lifespan, and the more powerful the wizard, the longer the lifespan."

"The former principal, Dippet, took on the position of principal when he was over 200 years old."

"You are less than 110 years old, which is still the prime of life for a wizard."

"And judging by your appearance alone, you look no more than 60 years old."

"If you like this kind of drink, I'll give you a whole car of it this Christmas."

Dumbledore laughed heartily. "You are still so good at talking."

The atmosphere between Sebastian and Dumbledore gradually became warmer, and the strangeness gradually faded as the conversation progressed.

After chatting for a while, Dumbledore sat up straight, leaned forward slightly, then interlaced his fingers and placed his arms on the table.

His sharp eyes stared straight at Sebastian through his half-moon glasses and asked seriously:

"Sebastian, we all know that you created a new position of Deputy Headmaster at Hogwarts through the Board of Governors."

"As the principal, I think I have the right to decide whether to hire you."

"As far as I know, thanks to your efforts, Swann Alchemy has long become the richest company in the British wizarding world, and even in the world's wizarding world."

"And since you graduated, you have been buying properties all over the Muggle world."

"In the past two years, you also went to the Muggle world of Russia and took advantage of the turmoil in the Muggle world there to make a lot of money, and then bought real estate all over the world."

"look."

"You have already achieved great success, and you should have many businesses to manage, both in the wizarding world and in the Muggle world."

"What is it that makes you so determined to come to Hogwarts?"

"I want to hear your thoughts."

“The most genuine thought!”
