Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 343 Tower Defense Game

The door opened and Ron walked in first, but the scene before him disappointed him greatly.

What he saw was a pure white room in front of him. The room was empty without even any unnecessary decoration.

"What's going on? Aren't we supposed to protect the potatoes? Where are the potatoes?"

Seamus touched the wall curiously: "Did we open it the wrong way?"

Just then, Malfoy was the last one to come in. As soon as he closed the door, a funny voice was heard in the room.

"Potatoes! Potatoes!"

With this sound, the whole room seemed to come alive.

The surrounding walls quickly became illusory, as if turning into a cloud of mist that gradually faded away, and before the few people could react, they had completely disappeared without a trace.

At the same time, the ceiling above slowly rose, as if breaking through the limitations of the floor, and gradually turned into a sky with a few white clouds floating in it.

The floor beneath my feet also changed. The hard stone slabs quietly disappeared, and were replaced by a piece of land.

Several small houses slowly rose from the ground, with an old wooden feel, appearing around the few people.

In the blink of an eye, the five people seemed to have traveled through time and space and stood in the center of an ancient village.

Fifty meters away from the village, there was thick gray fog. Five small paths branched out from the village and led directly into the gray fog.

Everyone was stunned by the change of scene before their eyes.

Ron was completely dumbfounded. He looked up at the sky, then at the surrounding villages, his mouth open wide enough to swallow an egg.

"Is this...is this still Hogwarts? What did we get to do in the blink of an eye?"

"It looks just like the real thing. How did Professor Swan do it? It's so cool!"

Malfoy didn't bother to argue with Ron. He turned around and touched the door, but found nothing.

"The door is gone," he frowned slightly, "Is this the effect of the traceless extension charm? What about the house and the land?"

Harry stretched out his wand, walked over to a small house and examined it carefully. "There are signs of Transfiguration."

"To be honest, it's not surprising that Professor Swan can do this, but now that he's not here, it's a bit exaggerated."

Everything before him was completely beyond his understanding, leaving him at a loss for words.

Neville squatted down and touched the ground under his feet, muttering to himself: "If it is Professor Swan, then it is not surprising. His strength is beyond our imagination."

Just as Neville was feeling emotional, an explosion sounded beside him, scaring him so much that he shuddered violently.

Turning around, Seamus was looking at everyone angrily, "Sorry, I got a little excited, so I cast a spell to experiment."

Everyone was accustomed to Ximo's behavior. They shook their heads and stopped paying attention to it. Instead, they began to observe the village with emotion.

Harry and the others didn't know that all this was related to the Room of Requirement left behind by the founder Ravenclaw.

It is a magical room that can change its shape and function at any time to meet the needs of the user. It is located on the eighth floor of Hogwarts Castle.

After nearly three years of in-depth research, Sebastian thoroughly understood the magical principles of the Room of Requirement.

Then he optimized and expanded on this magical principle, combined it with alchemy, and transformed the Duel Hall into what he had in mind.

Just as everyone looked around, the door of a house opened and an old man in a tattered wizard robe walked out.

"Great! Finally, a righteous man comes to help!"

"The village has a bumper potato harvest, but it has been targeted by the surrounding dark creatures. They come in waves to snatch the potatoes."

"Please help all the righteous people to destroy all those guys."

"Watch out, they're coming!"

After saying that, he turned around, walked into the house, and locked the door tightly.

"It's not a real person, nor is it a puppet," Malfoy said. "It should be the holographic imaging magic used in movie theaters."

"This is just an emotionless NPC, who is only responsible for explaining the background of the dungeon." Ron, who had been influenced by the Muggle Studies class, knew very well what was going on.

After all, it's easy to tell that no dark creatures would steal potatoes.

“Although the background story is a little rough,” Simo said with a smile, “the sense of immersion was immediately heightened.”

Neville glanced around and said, "There are five paths. We will each guard one. If there is any unexpected situation, we can help each other."

No one had any objections, and everyone chose a path and walked over. This small village was so small that everyone could still see each other's figures when standing at the intersections.

Ron and Malfoy looked at each other, as if reminding each other not to forget the competition.

As Harry reached the intersection, he saw the thick fog in the distance rolling, and then twenty Cornish pixies flew out of it.

As soon as we came out of the fog, these little creatures flew over with their claws and fangs bared and chirping.

Harry relaxed now.

I thought it was something else, but it turned out to be these little things.

Although there are a lot of them, they are surprisingly simple.

He raised his wand, and beams of red light flew out, accurately knocking down the Cornish elves.

Harry looked carefully and found that these little things were not real, but vivid magic puppets.

After everyone had killed the Cornish elves, they rested for less than ten seconds before the thick fog in the distance rolled again and twenty red hats ran out of it.

Next up are the Imps, Hinckley Punks, Vampire Bats, Ghouls, Inferi, and so on.

Harry responded calmly, dealing with wave after wave of enemies with precision.

As the fight went on, the gap between them became apparent.

Harry and Malfoy are undoubtedly the first tier. The difference between their speeds is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Every wave of enemies was killed instantly as soon as they appeared, without any delay.

After that, it was Neville. Ever since his parents recovered, he became cheerful and confident, and his strength increased rapidly.

At this moment, his speed was about ten times slower than that of Harry and Malfoy.

The next one was Ron. He was a little slower than Neville, but fortunately he handled each creature very appropriately and did not panic.

The most panicked one was Simo. Facing a large number of monsters, he seemed a little overwhelmed and was often rushed to the front of the village by the monsters while he was fighting.

When facing the corpses, they even forgot that the Fire Curse was the best choice to deal with these guys, and were directly attacked by the corpses into the village.

Fortunately, Seamus had Harry and Neville on his left and right. With their help, they managed to fight safely.

As the fight went on, the NPC shouted again: "The last wave of monsters is coming, come on!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the last wave of monsters appeared.

The good news is that there is only one monster on each road this time, and there are only five monsters in total.

The bad news is that this time the monster is a troll.

Moreover, as soon as the five giant monsters appeared, they waved their huge sticks and rushed towards the village like bulldozers.
