Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 265 Quidditch

The weather on Sunday, December 5th, was exceptionally bad.

The cold wind howled, lashing every corner of Hogwarts like a whip. The trees were swaying wildly and making whimpering sounds, as if they would be uprooted at any time.

The dark clouds in the sky were blown all over the place by the wind, and dense raindrops fell on the ground like a bucket. The rain was so heavy that it was almost impossible to see the scenery a few steps away.

Raindrops hit the soil of the Quidditch field, splashing mud. The sound of wind mixed with the sound of rain washing made the whole field full of oppression.

However, no matter how bad the weather was, it could not extinguish the young wizards' enthusiasm for Quidditch.

After breakfast, the little wizards put on raincoats and took wizard telescopes and walked towards the Quidditch field in the freezing rain. No one backed down because of the bad weather.

Today is the first game against Durmstrang this school year. Everyone is very enthusiastic and looking forward to the school team members defeating the opponent and avenging the previous defeat.

When Hermione and Ron arrived at the spectator stands, they were filled with young wizards in Hogwarts uniforms.

The audience stands were covered by the alchemical props arranged by Sebastian. It was warm as spring and no one could feel the biting cold wind outside.

The heavy rain was also blocked by the transparent magic barrier. Everyone sat comfortably in their seats, happily discussing the upcoming game.

"Hermione, sit here!" Ron shouted, running quickly to the seats reserved for them by Neville and Seamus. "Luckily Neville and the others saved seats for us, that's really thoughtful."

"I have to say, in this kind of horrible weather, it's really a pleasure to watch the game in the stands. It's just hard for Harry and the others."

Hermione greeted Neville and the others, then sat in the stands with a smile on her face, listening to the conversations and laughter around her. She looked extremely relaxed.

Since she listened to Sebastian's advice, she has ensured that she gets enough sleep every day and her overall condition has improved a lot.

In addition, she passed the interviews for Muggle Studies, History of Magic, and Astronomy, which greatly reduced her study pressure.

She even went straight back into her normal routine on Thursday and Friday of this past week.

Compared to before, her complexion has regained its rosy color, the dark circles under her eyes have disappeared without a trace, her messy hair has become smooth, and she looks energetic, no longer tired and depressed like before.

Even Ron, a carefree guy, noticed the change in Hermione.

He glanced at the energetic Hermione and couldn't help but said casually: "Hermione, I found that you are in better spirits recently, and you are not as busy as before. You are different after passing the exam!"

Hearing Ron's question, Hermione pursed her lips and smiled: "Passing the exam is a good medicine to relieve stress. Besides, the atmosphere of the stadium is very relaxing."

She looked around the stadium and said with a little concern: "However, the weather today is not very good. I wonder if it will affect Harry and the others' performance?"

"Don't worry!" Ron waved his hand nonchalantly and said confidently, "This little bit of wind and rain is nothing."

"Don't forget our training maniac Wood. As the vice-captain, he has already trained Harry and the others for this kind of weather. There will be absolutely no problem."

In the locker room, the players had already changed into handsome black uniforms, put on waterproof glasses, and listened to vice-captain Wood's pre-match speech.

"We have a full set of windproof and waterproof gear, so the bad weather outside has no effect on us at all."

"Look at the flying brooms in your hands. These are the Firebolts that Professor Swan specially equipped for the school team this year."

"We must win and must not let the professor down."

Wood yelled loudly, and his words were a little incoherent due to nervousness. He really wanted to win.

"Our opponent, Viktor Krum, was selected for the Bulgarian national team this year, which means he has become one of the world's top seekers."

"Oliver, relax a little," Fred laughed to ease the tension before the game. "Based on the match between Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, except for Krum, Durmstrang's new players are really not good enough."

"Right," George agreed, "They were able to lose to Beauxbatons even with Krum, so it would be a piece of cake for us to beat Durmstrang."

Hearing the twins' words, Wood frowned: "We can't take it lightly, we have to win no matter what!"

His eyes fell on Harry and he said solemnly, "Harry, the task of keeping an eye on Krum is now on you. Marcus and Roger will do their best to cooperate with you to knock him down from the sky."

Marcus patted Wood on the shoulder, walked forward and shouted.

“This year’s trophy must be ours.”

"Let's go! With all of Europe as witnesses, let's go and crush Durmstrang together."

"Smash Durmstrang xN!" The players left the locker room with high morale and flew out of the corridor on their brooms.

The noisy sound came over us, and enthusiastic shouts broke out from the surrounding stands.

Countless colorful flags fluttered in the air, and the little wizards were waving flags with the Hogwarts emblem on them, or holding banners that read "Hogwarts Must Win!"

They followed the cheerleading team and shouted slogans in unison, cheering hard for the Hogwarts players.

"Go Hogwarts!"

"Hogwarts will win!"

"Diggory, the most handsome chaser!"

"Wood, the most handsome goalkeeper!"

"Marcus, the most accurate hitter!"

......

"The Hogwarts team is on the field," the professional commentary voice sounded, "Potter, Diggory, Davis, the Weasley brothers, Flint and Wood."

"It is generally agreed among Hogwarts students that this is their best team and the Hogwarts dream team."

"The Durmstrang team also took the field under the leadership of Captain Krum. Although they have a lot of new players, they are still a team that should not be underestimated."

"After all, with the talented Seeker Krum here, no one can relax or be careless."

Hearing the narrator's voice, Harry couldn't help but tighten his grip on the Firebolt and swallowed secretly.

If we were to ask who is under the most pressure in the entire arena, it would definitely be him.

Although he had great flying skills, he had no confidence that he could catch the Snitch before Krum.

Harry could only hope to keep Krum busy and let his teammates narrow the gap to fifty points or more before the other team caught the Golden Snitch.

He stared at Krum intently, and after hearing the referee's whistle, he quickly controlled the Firebolt and rushed towards Krum with all his strength.

"Krum, here I come!"
