Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 224: Fudge the Wronged

Minister of Magic Fudge?

Harry quickly put away his wand and pretended nothing had happened.

Young wizards are forbidden to use magic during the holidays. It’s okay to use magic secretly in a wizard family, but it’s another matter in front of the minister.

He didn't want to be caught by Fudge and get into trouble.

"Sebastian, I heard that Harry Potter is living in your house now?" Fudge's voice came from afar, "I'm here to visit him."

Looking for your own?

Harry looked at Fudge, who was walking towards him with Sebastian, with a puzzled look on his face.

What does the Minister of Magic want from a little wizard like me?

"Harry, I'm Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic," Fudge extended his right hand to Harry with a very kind look.

Harry quickly reached out his hand and shook Fudge's. "Hello, Minister Fudge, nice to meet you. What can I do for you?"

"I'm here to visit you on behalf of the Ministry of Magic. I thought you would stay at your aunt's house, but it's not very safe there right now."

Fudge said with a smile: "This place has top-level magical protection. You are safe living here. This is the most important thing right now."

It turned out to be the case.

Minister Fudge was worried that Sirius Black would go to his aunt's house and cause trouble for him.

Indeed, as a former friend of his parents, it was normal for that person to know where his aunt lived.

Now it seems that leaving my aunt's house was actually a good thing.

If that person can't find me, he probably won't attack my uncle and aunt.

"Harry, were you practicing spells just now?"

Fudge smiled and patted Harry's shoulder like an elder.

Done!

Or maybe the minister found out. I won’t be fired, right?

"I...I'm just exercising," Harry stammered.

"What a hard-working child! That's good. It's always good to work hard on practicing magic."

"Huh?" Harry asked blankly, "I thought you were going to punish me."

Harry regretted the moment he said it.

It seemed that Minister Fudge didn't mind, so why should I mention it more?

Who did you learn this fast-talking habit from...

"Punishment?" Fudge blinked in confusion.

"I mean..." Harry hesitated, "I violated the "Reasonable Restraint of Underage Wizards Act". Underage students are not allowed to use magic during the holidays."

"Hahahaha——" Fudge laughed heartily, "The Ministry of Magic will not punish you for such a small matter."

“Different situations have different treatments.”

"If it was a young wizard living in the Muggle world, he should have received a warning letter by now."

"After all, without the supervision of adult wizards, underage wizards using magic can easily lead to exposure in the wizarding world."

"But you live in Swan Manor now, and no one will care if you use magic here."

Hearing this, Harry felt relieved and took the opportunity to ask, "Minister, is there any news about Sirius Black?"

Fudge's smile faltered slightly.

"Well...we have no news about this madman for the time being."

"But don't worry, it's only a matter of time before we catch him."

"Of course, I hope you stay here until we catch him. You must understand our intentions, right?"

"Okay, you continue to practice your spells here while Sebastian and I go talk for a few minutes."

Fudge smiled, shook Harry's hand again, and followed Sebastian into the living room.

He sat on the sofa and said with a sigh: "Who would have thought that Black, as James' best man and Harry's godfather, would betray them and join the You-Know-Who."

"But nothing is impossible for this madman. He even didn't spare his friend Peter Pettigrew."

"I still remember the day we caught him. It was such a tragic scene."

"There were corpses all over the ground, Muggles wailing everywhere, and Black was standing there laughing."

"When I think about it now, I feel a chill in my neck."

"Sebastian," Fudge took a sip from his teacup, "I have something to say."

"You must keep an eye on Harry Potter and don't let him go out alone. Even if he goes to Diagon Alley, you must follow him."

"After all, no one can guarantee that the lunatic will not be crazy enough to attack in Diagon Alley."

"Don't worry," Sebastian smiled slightly, "Harry's safety is absolutely no problem."

"By the way, Minister, I heard that Black escaped from Azkaban the day after you went to inspect it."

Hearing this, Fudge's face turned as black as charcoal: "That's right, it's a disaster!"

"There are rumors about me everywhere now, and some unscrupulous tabloid reporters even speculated that I provided Blake with the opportunity to escape successfully."

"It's such an injustice!"

Fudge complained with a gloomy face: "We all know what a terrible place Azkaban is."

"But as a minister, I have to do my duty and conduct regular inspections."

"During the inspection, Blake actually wanted the Daily Prophet in my hand, saying that he wanted to do the crossword puzzle in it to kill time."

"I felt sorry for him, so I just threw the newspaper to him."

"Who knows what he read in the newspaper, and he escaped from prison that night."

"According to our subsequent investigation," Fudge's expression was full of helplessness, "the prisoners said that after I left, the madman kept yelling, 'He's in Hogwarts! He's in Hogwarts!'"

"Because of this, everyone said that there was something hidden in the newspaper I gave him, so he was able to escape from prison successfully."

"Do you think I am wronged?!"

Fudge was helpless.

Ever since Blake escaped from prison, his reputation has plummeted.

But Blake was so slippery that he could not be caught for a while.

Therefore, he urgently needed to do something to improve the situation.

There's nothing I can do. My subordinates are incompetent and haven't been able to help me improve my situation yet.

When Fudge was at his wit's end, he thought of the magical man Sebastian.

The press conference about wolfsbane potion and Norwegian ridgeback dragon really helped increase my reputation.

"Sebastian," Fudge looked at Sebastian, his eyes full of expectation, "Can you help me change my reputation?"

Hearing this, Sebastian raised his eyebrows imperceptibly.

Looking for help?

It seems that Fudge is very anxious.

Looking closely, Fudge did show signs of getting angry.

Sebastian pondered for a moment, then spoke to Fudge.

"The best thing to do is to catch Blake right away."

"If that doesn't work, you can make something out of Azkaban."
