The most powerful wizard in the magic world

Chapter 321 The real intention

"Where is this?" Gerlin muttered to himself, looking at a small tower covered by thick vines. It looked dilapidated, but it emitted a strange light. He felt a strong call, as if some power was guiding him.

He slowly approached the small tower, and when he touched the brick wall, he felt a little warmth instead of cold. "Could it really be some kind of ruins?" He was startled, and remembered the lost magic barriers in the legend.

"Gerlin!" A crisp voice embellished the silence and interrupted his thoughts. He turned around and saw Kelly running towards him with excitement on her face, her coat soaked by the rain and looking heavy.

"Kelly, why are you here?" Gerling was stunned, and a trace of uneasiness flashed through his heart. He didn't want her to take risks, but he couldn't stop her impulse.

"I was worried that you might be in danger when I heard you were going out!" Kelly panted, with a determined light in her eyes. "This place looks special, let's explore it together!"

"I don't want you to take risks," Gellin frowned, with a hint of reproach in his tone, but he couldn't hide the joy in his heart. "It could be dangerous here."

"Gerlin." Kelly shook her head with a smile, "You know I love adventure the most. And you will need my help."

Gerlin knew at this moment that her determination was unshakable, so he sighed and gave in slightly. "Okay, but remember to stay alert at all times."

The two stood side by side in front of the small tower. The air was filled with the scent of moist grass and trees. The surroundings were completely silent, as if waiting for their next move. Gellin mustered up his courage and reached out to push open the old moss-covered wooden door. The door made a dull creaking sound, as if resisting their entry.

When the door was finally opened, it was dark inside, with only a faint light coming through the broken window. It was a mysterious blue light, forming a beautiful but strange glow.

"Look! What is that?" Kelly's voice was trembling and she was very excited.

"I don't know either, but we have to be careful." Gerlin walked in front, trying to suppress his anxiety. The moment they walked into the small tower, the air around them seemed to become more solemn.

"This tower looks like a magic circle." Kelly pointed at the fine lines on the ground, with a hint of interest in her eyes. "Have you ever seen runes like this?"

"I've read about it in ancient books, but never seen it in person." Gerling lowered his head and carefully observed the complex lines, trying to recall the relevant knowledge in his mind.

As they went deeper, the environment of the small tower slowly regained a bit of vitality, and the walls emerged with flowing patterns of light, as if vaguely telling some ancient story. "Look!" Kelly exclaimed, "The patterns are moving!"

Gerlin looked at the patterns, his tone solemn, "This looks like some kind of magical record, perhaps a warning, or... a call." He realized that they might have disturbed some ancient power.

"What should we do?" Kelly began to feel uneasy, holding Garlin's arm tightly. "I have a bad feeling."

"Don't worry," Garlin responded calmly, trying to make his voice sound casual. "We will continue to explore, but we must be very careful."

They continued walking until they came to a relatively open space, in the center of which stood an old stone pillar, covered with strange characters. These characters seemed to be flickering, sometimes showing clear characters, and sometimes blurred, as if they were metaphors for some mystery.

"What...what language is this?" Kelly asked puzzledly, her eyes wandering over the stone pillars.

"This may be a relic left by an ancient magician." Gerlin pondered carefully, and a firm belief emerged in his heart. "Perhaps we can understand the secrets of this place by deciphering these words."

"Can you understand it?" Kelly was eager to try, her eyes full of anticipation.

"I'm not sure, but I can try." Gerlin slowly approached the stone pillar and carefully observed the ancient symbols. He silently recited the spells he had read before, hoping to stimulate the magic hidden in these words.

As he half-knelt down and lightly touched the words with his fingertips, the sudden vibration made Kelly scream. The entire small tower began to shake, and the air around it became hot, as if some power was awakening.

"Quick, retreat!" Gerlin pulled Kelly hard, and the two of them retreated quickly. At this moment, the stone pillar emitted a dazzling light, and the surrounding patterns twisted like a whirlwind.

"We have to get out of here!" Kelly's voice was particularly sharp in fear and was quickly drowned out by the sudden change.

"There should still be time, let's find the exit first." Gellin pressed Kelly's shoulders hard, trying to keep her calm. Facing all this, he felt uneasy, but also a little curious.

However, just as they were trying to find an exit, the light from within the tower suddenly rushed towards them, forming a huge vortex that seemed to swallow them up.

"Don't panic!" Gerling's voice was deep and powerful. He prayed in his heart whether the spell in his hand would bring about a miracle. They had to believe in their intuition and the power between each other.

"I can help you!" Kelly suddenly shouted, her face flushed with a burning conviction. She grabbed Gelling's hand, as if he felt a strange source of power.

"Okay!" Gerlin's heart was shocked. They worked together and stood in the center of the vortex.

As the energy in their bodies gathered, they clasped their hands together, and the light before them completely enveloped them. Gerlin closed his eyes and silently recited the spell he had memorized long ago, hoping to calm the magical storm before him.

"Gerlin, don't let me go!" Kelly also responded vigorously on the other side, and firm beliefs blended at this moment.

As the spell gradually soared, the light began to slowly weaken, and the vortex gradually calmed down. Ancient pictures flashed in Gerlin's mind, and he seemed to understand the true purpose of this tower.

At that moment, they realized that they were not just explorers, but participants in all this story. Mysterious power gathered in their hearts, as if the entire magic world trusted them.
