"I have a plan, Gofat." Gerlin's voice was low and firm. He took a few steps back to better organize his thoughts. "We must use informal wizards to enter the realm of formal wizards. Specifically, it is that vortex."

"I heard that the heart of the ancient tree on the top of the mountain contains powerful magical energy that can enhance the effect of the amulet. We can go there to get it."

Guofat nodded. Although he still had doubts in his heart, seeing Gerling's enthusiasm made him feel enthusiastic. "Then let's go, but we must be cautious in this operation and never reveal our identity."

"Of course." Gerlin smiled slightly, with a sly look in his eyes. "I will conceal my identity without a trace."
