Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 382: Funeral Invitation, Blessing Potion, and Finally Recovering Memory

On Friday, Harry received an invitation to Hagrid's funeral.

Harry was originally frightened by the letter. He thought it was a letter from Aiden asking him about his memory. However, he was relieved when he saw Hagrid's handwriting.

After Aragog was burned by Radda, Hagrid extended his life for four full years, but finally the old spider died.

Heartbroken Hagrid cried for a whole week before he thought of giving it a funeral.

Unfortunately, Harry was so immersed in acquiring his memories that he had no time to pay attention to this matter.

He sat in the Gryffindor common room in distress.

"Hey, man, you shouldn't be so distressed. Why don't you use the Felicis Potion?" Ron said casually as he looked at Harry in distress.

"Okay!" Harry also made up his mind.

Harry pulled a small bottle of Felicis Felix from his shirt pocket and, as Hermione and Ron watched, took a sip.

After taking the elixir, he became extremely excited and confident.

Then, a wonderful feeling surged into Harry's heart, as if countless people were whispering in his ears, telling him what he should do next.

"Oh, it seems I should attend Hagrid's funeral." Harry said abruptly.

"What?" Hermione frowned, "But Harry you should go to Horace."

"Yeah, we have a plan!" Ron came over.

"But I think we should go to Hagrid, believe me!" Harry ran out wearing his Invisibility Cloak.

As Harry passed the herb shed, he saw Slughorn.

He was asking Professor Sprout for herbs.

"Oh, you know Pomona, these are things I really needed when I was teaching third grade."

After hearing this, Professor Sprout gave him a large bundle and said, "Is that enough? If not, there's more."

"Oh, that's enough, that's enough."

Horace smiled with satisfaction, and Professor Sprout said goodbye to him and left.

Harry also took off the Invisibility Cloak under the guidance of the Felicis Felicis.

"Harry! Where are you going so late?" Horace was very angry. He was angry that Harry dared to run around when he was in danger.

"Oh, Professor, I received an invitation to Professor Hagrid's funeral. His good friend Aragog, the giant seven-eyed spider, died. I think I have to go and keep him company."

Harry made a sincere confession.

"Acromantula!" Horace's eyes flashed. "Are you really talking about a freshly dead acromantula that poses no danger at all?"

"Yeah! Hagrid has a whole forest of them." Harry nodded.

"Oh, then wait here for me, I'll go back and change my tie. This one is too fancy and not suitable for a funeral." Horace ran back in a hurry.

Hagrid's hut, behind the pumpkin patch, where Hagrid dug a big hole.

Ever since Aragog's death, his descendants have not allowed Hagrid to approach their base.

Harry walked over to Hagrid and patted the arm of the giant, whose eyes were red and swollen from crying.

Although Ron and Hermione did not come, Hagrid was comforted by Harry's presence.

"By the way, Hagrid, Professor Slughorn will be at the funeral too," said Harry.

"That's a relief, I think Aragog would have liked him," sobbed Hagrid.

"Maybe. I think Horace has so much meat on him that any giant man-eating spider would like him." A young man's voice came from behind the two of them.

"Aiden, sniff." Hagrid sniffed, "This joke is not funny."

"Haha, sorry." Aiden walked over, he was wearing a black suit.

"Oh, Aiden, what a coincidence."

Just then, Horace arrived at the scene, holding two or three bottles of wine in his hands.

Then, while Hagrid was crying, Horace secretly filled three pints of venom.

He then read a very beautiful eulogy to Aragog.

After the funeral, Horace suggested going to Hagrid's hut for a drink.

When Horace walked into Hagrid's hut, he was immediately stunned. He saw unicorn hairs worth ten galleons each made into dusters and hung on the wall.

The whole cabin was flickering with magical light, and countless rare materials were piled up randomly in the cabin.

"Merlin's beard!" Horace exclaimed, and then immediately became respectful towards Hagrid.

In the hut at night, two adult wizards drank and sang "Hero Oddo"

Under the influence of alcohol, Hagrid talked to Horace about his experience in raising animals.

"Ya Ya was just a puppy, just hatched, not even as big as my finger, and now it has grown this big."

As he spoke, Hagrid threw a steak to Fang.

"Oh, it's very touching. I also had a goldfish, but when I left one afternoon, it disappeared. It was gone."

Horace raised his glass and Harry quietly filled it with a refilling charm.

"Let's go!" Hagrid and Horace clinked their glasses and drank their wine, then Hagrid leaned against the wall and fell asleep.

Then, the house was plunged into the scene of Horace and Harry staring at each other again.

Aiden uses his abilities to reduce his presence.

"The goldfish was given to me by one of my students. One afternoon in spring, I found a small water tank on the desk in my office.

It was filled with a little bit of water, with petals floating on it, and then I watched it sink little by little.”

Horace seemed to have thought of something, and his pupils became moist in the light of the fire.

"The petal sank to the bottom of the water and turned into a goldfish. What a great magic. And it was a lily petal. Yes, your mother gave it to me."

Horace looked straight at Harry.

"And on that day, when I went downstairs, the water tank was empty... I know why you came here, but I can't help you. It will destroy myself."

After hearing this, Harry followed the instructions of the Felicis and confided his inner thoughts to Horace.

"Do you know how I survived that night? Because of her, because she sacrificed herself, because she refused to stand by and do nothing, because her love was more powerful than Voldemort's."

There was a golden light emerging in Harry's pupils, and the burning gaze forced Horace to lower his eyes.

"Don't mention his child."

"I'm not afraid of her, Professor! I know I am the Chosen One, and I will fight her, but I need what you gave her in your office. Be brave, Professor!"

Harry's words, along with his magic, penetrated deep into Horace's heart.

"Be as brave as my mother, otherwise you will dishonor her, or her sacrifice will be in vain, or that little water tank will be empty forever."

Horace's eyes shrank. He hesitated for a long time, and finally took out his wand with determination.

"When you watch this memory, don't think I'm a bad person, because I didn't know what kind of person he was at the time!"

Horace pulled out the memory with trembling hands and put it into a small test tube.
