Hogwarts's Master of Mind
Chapter 370: Superb Acting, Return
Draco and Filch stood together outside the banquet hall for Horace's Christmas dinner.
"Are you ready?" Filch asked Malfoy.
"Even you are his subordinate? How come his hands have reached every corner of the school?" Draco teased.
"Boy!"
Filch grabbed Draco by the collar and narrowed his eyes at him.
"You'd better have some respect for that gentleman. I guess you don't want to know how many Squibs are waiting to be fired at those who are disrespectful to the gentleman."
After saying this, Filch loosened Draco's collar and instead held him by the back of his collar.
The two of them pushed the door open and rushed in.
Inside the banquet hall, everyone was talking, and the door suddenly opened, attracting everyone's attention.
"Let me go!" Draco struggled after being grabbed by the collar.
Harry noticed how sickly exhausted Draco looked, how dark circles and rims were extremely dark under his eyes.
"Professor Slughorn." Filch called Horace over with a brief greeting.
The reporter nearby wanted to take a photo, but was stopped by the quick-eyed and quick-handed Horace.
"I caught this boy wandering around the corridor outside and he claimed to be attending the party."
"Fine, I didn't accept the invitation, are you happy now?" Draco turned his head and replied to him.
"Forget it, since we are here, let's stay and attend the dinner together. After all, there are not many opportunities like this."
Horace raised his glass to cover up the matter gently.
After all, it's a holiday, so it's not a big deal to invite other people's children to stay and have some food and drinks.
Draco thanked Horace respectfully, and was captured by the St. Petersburg cult shortly afterwards.
Harry handed the glass to Aiden next to him and chased after him.
Aiden smiled and started talking to an editor from the Wizard Daily next to him.
"Mr. Prewett, the new issue of the newspaper has been printed. Regarding the content...are you sure you want to publish it like this?"
The editor in front of him should be called Kaios Kvir, he said respectfully.
Ever since the Daily Prophet was completely swallowed up by the Daily Witch, almost no one in the world knows where the headquarters of this newspaper that controls British public opinion is.
And today, if someone can recognize the identity of this editor, perhaps they can get a glimpse of the truth.
"Just follow the previous arrangement. Oh, and notify Arthursi. Let's start lurking.
If she doesn't show weakness to the enemy, how could she reveal her flaws?" Aiden picked up the wine glass and drank the wine in it.
After Harry chased out, he overheard the conversation between Draco and Snape in the corridor.
Learned about Draco's identity as a spy and knew that Snape had cast the Fidelius Charm.
He ran away quickly and disappeared into the darkness.
......
The day after the banquet was also the first day of the Christmas holiday.
On the train, Harry and Ron mentioned what they heard last night. Just as Ron was about to look at Aiden, Lavender outside the compartment knocked on the glass.
She drew a heart on it and told Ron with her lips that she missed him.
"Ron, you can't go on like this." Aiden sat next to Harry and glanced at Ron sharply.
"What, why, we two are very compatible." Ron shrugged.
"This is just a suggestion. It's up to you whether to listen to it or not. If you end up hurting that girl, don't blame me for not warning you." Aiden's eyes were serious.
"It's not me..." Ron muttered.
"Miss Brown really likes you, and you, don't try to deceive me. As the person who has gone the furthest in the spiritual path in the whole of England, your thoughts are transparent to me."
Aiden's words went straight to Ron's heart, breaking his last bit of stubbornness.
"I just...a little envious of Harry's popularity. When Lavender came to me, I accepted her without hesitation." Ron lowered his head.
"So, have you ever thought about spending the rest of your life with her? Miss Brown is willing to give everything for you." Aiden looked at him.
"Well, Aiden, I think it's not a good idea to pry into a lady's heart like this." Harry looked at Ron and wanted to help.
"There's no need to spy specifically, I can see the unconscious thoughts of wizards throughout the school every day, just like your sight cannot reject the appearance of others.
And you don't want to know what Miss Brown will do to you, my dear brother Ronnie, when she gives too much emotionally and then suddenly loses it."
Ron shuddered at the long-unseen address, and he didn't dare to look at Aiden's face.
"Okay, I'll make it clear to him."
Ron's muttering was drowned out by the whistling sound of the train, but Aiden heard it clearly and nodded in satisfaction.
This year's Christmas holiday is still spent at the Black mansion. With the Fidelius Charm, this place is safer than the Burrow.
"Sirius!" Harry immediately rushed over and gave him a hug.
"Sorry for making you worry." Sirius also hugged Harry tightly.
At night, everyone gathered at the Black mansion, and the twins showed off their prank props.
Mrs. Molly was still busy in the kitchen.
Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, Arthur, Harry and others were sitting in the living room.
"You said Voldemort chose Draco Malfoy to complete the task, and then Snape wanted to help him?" Lupin's voice was full of surprise.
"I know that sounds crazy," Harry interrupted Lupin.
Sirius curled his lips and agreed with his godson, "I knew that Snuffles couldn't be trusted."
"Sirius!" Lupin gave him a reproachful look. "Is it possible that Snape is just helping him under the guise of trying to find out his real plan?"
"Maybe he is right, Remus. The Unbreakable Test can cost a wizard's life." Tonks glanced at Lupin.
"In the final analysis, it is a question of whether we believe in Dumbledore. Dumbledore believes in Snape, so I believe him too." Lupin spread his hands and gestured.
"Dumbledore could be wrong." Harry glanced at Sirius.
"Yeah, the newspapers say he's a little senile." Sirius shook the Daily Prophet.
"You are blinded by hatred," Lupin rebuked harshly.
"Listen, Harry, people are dying every day in our fight against Voldemort. If we start to doubt each other, it will be the end of us."
Lupin sighed, stood up and walked out. Tonks looked at them apologetically and followed him.
Ginny came over and sat next to Harry. Arthur looked at Sirius, and they both stood up as if they had reached a consensus.
Before leaving, Sirius gave Harry a look that all men understood.
On the streets of London, black smoke was floating everywhere, and a figure wearing a platinum robe and with dragon horns stood on the bridge.
"Snap." The sound of a snap of fingers echoed throughout the city of London.
In the ocean of collective subconsciousness, a huge maze rose up, covering the whole of London.
If there are psychic wizards present, they will find themselves surrounded by a maze constructed by countless nightmares.
Then, all the black fog in the sky stopped, and black wizards fell from the sky like dumplings.
Seeing this, Aiden Apparated back to Number 12 Grimmauld Place with a satisfied look on his face.
