Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 352: Advanced Potions Class

"I suspect she cut me off simply to touch my horns."

Aiden led Hermione's two older sons to the Potions classroom.

"It's class time now, why are you still hanging around outside?" Harry asked puzzled.

"The Sunlight Langan powder used in class has run out, and Professor Horace asked me to go get some from Professor Sprout."

Aiden took out the cord buckle of a cloth bag from his pocket, which he had cast a traceless extension spell on, and showed it to the two of them.

Quickly arriving at the Potions classroom, Horace was already inside starting his lesson.

“Attention to detail during the preparation phase is a prerequisite for all planning.”

Knock knock! A knock on the door interrupted Horace's lecture.

"Oh, Mr. Prewett, did you get the Sunlight Langan powder back?" Horace turned around and saw Harry and Ron.

"Well, Mr. Potter, I knew you would throw yourself into the arms of potions. You even brought your friends with you. But it doesn't matter. Your friends are my friends."

Horace waved his hand and opened the back door for Harry and Ron.

"Thank you, professor, but we don't seem to have textbooks." Harry was still somewhat resistant to the Potions class.

"It doesn't matter. There are plenty of textbooks in this classroom. Just look around." Horace pointed to the bookcase next to him.

The two ran to the side to look for their textbooks while Aiden pulled the sack out of his pocket and placed it on the table.

"Well, you actually cast a traceless extension spell in your pocket. That's a good idea. Perhaps we can find some time to discuss it together later." Horace praised.

"My pleasure." Aiden said politely and hid behind Ethan and Edmund.

"What took you so long?" Ethan leaned over and whispered.

"I met Professor McGonagall on the way. She asked me to bring these two idle guys to class."

Aiden nodded at Ron and Harry who were fighting over textbooks near the bookcase.

"It seems that Professor McGonagall is also partial."

Edmund said as he handed Aiden the notes he had just taken.

"It's just that the rules allow it. After all, it was Professor Horace himself who agreed to allow students with grades other than O to take the Advanced Potions class. And he's a Slytherin."

Aiden pushed his notes back and pulled out his textbook.

"No, I'm quite familiar with these potions."

At the same time, his mind began to recall the days when he was confined under Professor Snape.

Unfortunately, he could no longer use the excuse that the potion was not brewed well as an excuse to put Aiden in detention. (Snape in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class: A-sneeze~)

"Okay, now that you're all here, who can tell me what potions these are?"

Horace placed a row of potions on the assembled desks, from right to left they were Veritaserum, Polyjuice Potion, Felixir, and Love Potion...

Hermione raised her hand decisively and answered several potions one by one.

Horace remembered the girl in front of him because he smelled an investment target.

"Good job....uh." Horace paused.

"Granger, sir, my name is Granger."

"Oh, well done, Miss Granger, five points to Gryffindor."

Horace gave her extra points without hesitation, which made Hermione a little uncomfortable.

“Well then, let’s start today’s practical course – Water of Life and Death.

The production method is in the book. I will reward these potions to students who are good at potion making."

Horace pointed to the boiling crucible on the table, then asked the students to go to their own crucibles and distributed the materials to them.

Aiden took out the ingredients and threw them in like dumplings. Years of brewing serial potions have allowed him to develop this rough method.

He was able to separate the specific medicinal properties through micro-manipulation of magic. If it wasn't for the purpose of not looking too weird, he wouldn't even bother to light the fire.

"Mr. Prewett, you can't do that or it will explode!"

Horace, the professor of Potions, widened his eyes when he saw Aiden's evil behavior.

However, the explosion he expected did not occur, and instead the materials immediately decomposed when they came into contact with the liquid in the crucible.

The medicinal properties were perfectly separated under Aiden's magical control, and the parts that needed to be matched were also perfectly integrated by him.

Soon, a pot of life and death water was boiled.

"Incredible, what kind of method is this?" Horace became interested.

"Professor, this is the usage of the Transfiguration Spell that Professor McGonagall and his colleagues published on Transfiguration Today.

The uses of Transfiguration itself are extremely wide-ranging, and the Transfiguration spell involves changes in the nature of things.

The stripping of the medicinal properties of ingredients in potions is actually similar to this spell."

Aiden pointed his index finger at the potion, and the liquid inside flew up, actually disintegrating in the air and transforming back to its original herbal appearance.

"Incredible, but wouldn't this violate Gamp's Law of Transfiguration?" Horace was a little curious.

"No, professor. After all, it is only extracting the original properties of the substance, not involving conversion."

Aiden explained.

"Well, well done. As the first student to complete the potion, you will receive the reward for the fastest refining - the infatuation potion. Speaking of which, this thing is a bit dangerous, so please use it with caution."

Horace handed the love water to Aiden, and Ethan next to him came over and nudged him.

"Who are you going to use this thing on?" Ethan smiled evilly.

"To you." Aiden gave him a vicious look, and then...

Ethan had boiled his water of life and death into a paste because he wasn't paying attention to the flames.

"Damn it!" He quickly ran back to make amends.

Draco on the side wanted to talk to Horace, "Hello, sir, I am the heir of the Malfoy family. I heard from the elders in my family that you seem to be an old friend of my grandfather."

As an old Slytherin, Horace immediately saw through Draco's behavior of flirting with him, and combined it with the news that the Malfoy family had lost power some time ago.

"I know him. I was sad to hear that he died, but it was to be expected. He was so old and still got dragon pox..."

Horace had little interest in Draco, so he just said a few words and left.

After a lot of trouble, the get out of class was over and Horace began to select the best performance awards.

Since Aiden had already taken the gift, Horace didn't count him.

After walking around, Horas was attracted by the strong smell of life and death water.

Following the smell, he came to Harry's cauldron.

Throw in a test mandrake blade and watch it burn in the waters of death and life.

"Merlin's beard, I bet that just one drop of this pot of life and death water would make the whole class pass out."

Horace took out the Felicis Felicis with satisfaction and asked Harry to stand next to him.

"Come, let me fulfill my promise and give you the Felicis as a prize."

Harry reached out to take the Felicia Felix, but Horace pulled his hand back.

"Make good use of it," Horace instructed.

Harry smiled at him and Horace stuffed the potion into his pocket with satisfaction.
