Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 317: Prophecy, Consolation, and Queenie's Refuge

Travers broke into the Defense Against the Dark Arts class with his men and violently drove away all the students.

Dumbledore sat at his desk, surrounded by Aurors.

They were clearly powerless against Grindelwald, yet they had the guts to surround Dumbledore, who was a match for Grindelwald.

"Newt, Scamander is in Paris! And Prewett!" Travers confronted Dumbledore.

"Really?" Dumbledore smiled.

"Don't pretend, we know you sent them!" Travers raised his chin slightly.

"Well, if you were Newt's teacher, you would know that he is not an honest child.

And Prewett, how can I command them?" Dumbledore shrugged, looking innocent.

Travers threw a book, and Dumbledore hooked his finger and the book floated in front of him.

"Have you heard of the Tycho Dordonus prophecy?" Travers shook his windbreaker and turned away.

"I read it when I was a student." Dumbledore opened the book.

"The son was cruelly exiled, the daughter was heartbroken..." Travers wanted to continue speaking, but was interrupted by Dumbledore.

"Yes, I know." Dumbledore closed the book and looked at Leta Lestrange beside him with some concern.

"There are rumors about which Obscurial this prophecy refers to. They say Grindelwald..."

"Seeking a follower of high birth, I have heard rumours," Dumbledore interrupted for the second time.

"And wherever the Obscurial appears, Mr. Scamander always goes to protect him.

In addition, you appear to have established a small international liaison station."

Travers was a little annoyed at being interrupted twice by Dumbledore, so he directly brought up the topic.

But what he didn't know was that his reaction was actually predicted by the master of Legilimency - Dumbledore.

"Oh, no matter how long you spy on me and my friends, you will find nothing against you, Travers. My goal is the same as yours - to fight against Grindelwald."

Dumbledore sighed helplessly.

“But I want to warn you that your suppression and political violence will only push your potential supporters to the other side.

Grindelwald seeks the power of the prophecy, and you appear to be helping him."

"I have no interest in your warnings. Well, how should I put it? I don't like you." Travers said what was in his heart.

"Hehehe." Dumbledore was amused by this remark.

"But you are the only wizard who can fight against him at the moment. The purebloods are wavering in their attitude, and Prewett is ready to make a move.

Now I need you, Dumbledore, to fight him."

I don't know why Travers can make his request sound so firm, maybe it's his charm.

"I can't." Dumbledore, sitting at his desk, had lifeless eyes and shook his head weakly.

"Is that why?" Travers waved his wand, and the shadows of Dumbledore and Grindelwald when they were young were projected.

"I know that you were as close as brothers in the past." Travers looked at the dazed Dumbledore and smiled.

"More than a brother." Dumbledore had made that clear.

"Will you! fight! him!?" Travers gritted his teeth and pronounced every word very clearly.

"I can't do it." Dumbledore still shook his head.

"Well, now that you've chosen your side," Travers said with both hands shaking.

A silver object made by a goblin was clasped on Dumbledore's hands.

"From now on, I will know every spell you cast, I will have twice as many people watching you, and I will also forbid you from teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts."

Travers gasped, not sure if it was fear or anger.

"Rita, you'll have another half an hour, then we'll go to Paris." Travers said, and walked out of the office first.

Then the other Aurors followed, with Theseus being the last one to walk.

"Theseus, if Grindelwald calls a party, do not stop him.

Don't follow Travers' instructions and go to the scene, if you still believe me."

Dumbledore tried his best to remind Theseus, a wizard who had walked deeply on the spiritual path.

Dumbledore understood what Grindelwald wanted, to stir up the wizards' emotions to form a prophecy.

And Travers' violent confrontation is very likely to be the fuse for the prophecy to break out.

However, due to the Pact of Unspeakable, Dumbledore could not remind them directly and could only convey the information as obscurely as possible.

Theseus turned around and followed, secretly taking note of Dumbledore's reminder.

In a classroom at Hogwarts, Leta Lestrange is reminiscing about the past.

When I opened the desk, I still saw traces of the school bullying I had suffered.

There was a footstep behind her, and Leta Lestrange quickly covered her desk.

"Hello, Leta." Dumbledore wanted to greet him.

"Am I that kind of bad student?" Rita suddenly became curious about what answer she would get from this famous teacher.

"No, you are an extremely smart student." Dumbledore tried to fool him.

"I said bad, not stupid." As a Slytherin, Leta immediately heard the evasiveness in Dumbledore's words.

"I never thought you were bad." Dumbledore let out a little air from his nose and seemed to snort.

"Then you are the exception. Everyone thinks I am bad."

Rita immediately retorted, just as she had done in school.

"And they were right, I am indeed vicious."

"Rita, I think the rumors about your brother Corvus may make you..." Dumbledore tried to comfort her.

"No, you don't, unless your brother is dead too!"

"I lost my sister." Sadness surged in Dumbledore's eyes.

"Do you love her?" Leta was shocked by Dumbledore's sudden frankness.

"I don't love her enough."

Dumbledore exhaled, as if he saw himself putting down his wand when Grindelwald left.

"But, Leta, it's never too late to let go." Dumbledore could only give some experience as a person who had experienced it.

"Some people say that confession is a relief and can make you feel relieved."

There was hesitation in Rita's eyes, but she quickly hid it.

"Over the years, regrets have always been in my heart. Don't let them become your inner demons."

Seeing that his consolation was ineffective, Dumbledore had no choice but to leave it at that.

Paris, Champs-Elysées, Queenie has been bothering her owner for many days since she was picked up from the street.

She thought it was time for her to say goodbye to them.

Unfortunately, the person who walked in through the door was Gellert Grindelwald.

Queenie pulled out her wand and pointed it at him, "Just stand there, I know who you are!"

"Queenie, I'm not here to hurt you." Grindelwald seemed to have many people echoing his words in his throat.

Every word is so provocative.

"I hope you can walk with me to a world where you can love more freely..."

Grindelwald's voice slowly lengthened, Queenie gasped, and the wand in her hand was easily pressed down by Grindelwald.
