Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 146 Viktor Krum

In the center of the blood pool, a huge crystal ball emits a soft white light, which is out of tune with the gloomy and terrifying environment around it.

It rotates slowly, and there seems to be nebula-like light spots flowing inside, which is so beautiful that it takes your breath away.

Salina was attracted to it almost immediately, and a strong intuition told her: this thing is not simple.

"If only I could get it..." Salina muttered to herself, her eyes fixed on the crystal ball.

She walked around the blood pool several times, but found nothing except the pungent smell of blood.

"Let's give it a try!" Salina gritted her teeth and decided to take a risk.

She raised her wand and whispered, "Wingardium, Leviosa!"

The crystal ball trembled slightly, then slowly rose from the pool of blood and floated towards Salina.

Salina stared at it nervously, afraid that it would suddenly fall.

Just as the crystal ball was about to touch Salina's fingertips, the entire underground space began to vibrate violently, gravel continued to fall from the top of the head, and the liquid in the blood pool rolled violently.

"Oh no! It's going to collapse!" Salina screamed inwardly. Without thinking too much, she grabbed the crystal ball and chanted a spell: "Apparition!"

After a dizzying moment, Salina's body fell heavily to the ground.

Salina struggled to get up, but before she could see her surroundings clearly, she felt a sharp pain in her ankle.

"Damn! Did I sprain it?" Salina gasped in pain. She tried to move her ankle, and the piercing pain almost made her scream.

"Now it's bad enough. I can't leave even if I want to..." Salina said self-deprecatingly with a wry smile.

She looked around and found herself in a dense forest. Surrounded by towering trees, they almost blocked out all sunlight. Only a few faint rays of light shone through the gaps between the leaves, casting mottled shadows on the ground.

"Where is this? How did I get here?" Salina endured the pain and looked around, hoping to find some familiar signs.

Just then, a light sound of footsteps came from not far away, accompanied by the crackling sound of broken branches, as if something was approaching her.

Salina's heartbeat suddenly accelerated. She clenched her wand, stared vigilantly at the direction where the sound came from, and asked in a low voice: "Who is there?"

She was answered by an eerie silence.

Salina took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down.

She stepped back cautiously, chanting spells in a low voice, ready to respond to any emergency at any time.

Salina's heart beat faster and faster. She felt her palms full of cold sweat, and the fingers holding the wand began to tremble slightly.

At this moment, a cold hand suddenly covered her mouth from behind, and a low and hoarse voice sounded in her ear: "Shh! Don't make a sound..."

Salina's body tensed up instantly and she stopped moving stiffly.

Soon, the bushes shook violently, and a huge grizzly bear walked out.

It looked around vigilantly, its wet nose moving constantly, sniffing the remaining scent in the air, but in the end found nothing, so it turned around and disappeared into the dense bushes.

At this time, the person behind her released the hand that was covering her mouth, and Salina dared to take a deep breath, and her nervous mood calmed down a little.

She turned around carefully and saw the face of the person behind her.

He was a burly young man with neat short hair and delicate features, but there was a sinister look in his eyes that was inconsistent with his age.

He wore a brown fur short jacket, pants of the same color, and a pair of high boots.

"Who are you?" Salina asked in a low voice, "Why are you here?"

The boy looked at her silently for a few seconds. His deep black eyes were like a deep lake, making it impossible to see his emotions.

"Viktor Krum." The boy finally spoke. His voice was deep and magnetic, with a thick Slavic accent. "I am a student of Durmstrang."

Salina was stunned for a moment. Durmstrang?

"I came here to complete my weekly hunting mission," Krum added, as if seeing through Serena's doubts, "I didn't expect to meet you here."

"Hunting mission?" Salina couldn't help but frowned. Her eyes fell on the dagger on Krum's waist. The blade reflected a cold light in the dim light, making people feel a little palpitated for no reason.

"Don't worry." Krum seemed to have misunderstood Sharina's silence. He frowned slightly, with a barely perceptible explanation in his tone. "I won't hurt you. You don't look like a student of Durmstrang. Why are you here?"

"I... my name is Salina Swinburne, and I'm a Gryffindor student." Salina hesitated and said, "As for why I'm here, it's a long story..."

Krum looked at Salina's pale face and slightly trembling body, and slowly said, "Your ankle needs treatment."

"I can take you back to Durmstrang. The school infirmary there should have medicine to treat sprains." Krum squatted down in front of Salina. "You can't walk. I'll carry you."

……

Durmstrang School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is located deep in a majestic mountain range in Northern Europe. It is covered with ice and snow all year round and shrouded in clouds and mist, just like the palace where giants live in mythology and legends.

The castle is built of huge black rocks, and the outer walls are covered with ancient vines, exuding a vicissitudes and mysterious atmosphere.

The interior of the castle was brightly lit, and the towering dome was dotted with magical flames, illuminating the wide corridors.

Portraits of outstanding graduates of Durmstrang throughout the ages were hung on the walls. They wore different magic robes and stared at the students passing by with their bright eyes, as if telling the long history and glory of the school.

Salina lay on Krum's back and bumped along the way until they finally arrived at the school infirmary on the third floor of Durmstrang Castle.

Passing through the carved wooden door, a faint medicinal aroma mixed with the smell of disinfectant hits your nose.

The school infirmary was much more spacious and brighter than Salina had imagined. In the middle of the room stood several beds covered with snow-white sheets, and on the bedside tables were various potion bottles and medical instruments.

There were several tables near the windows, piled with parchment, quills and some strange-shaped herbs.

A gray-haired woman was sitting at the table, sorting herbs with her head down.

She was wearing a moon-white robe embroidered with silver magic runes, which made her look particularly solemn and mysterious.

Hearing the noise, she raised her head and looked at Krum and Serena who walked in through the lenses with her sharp blue eyes.

"Mr. Krum, are you hurt?" The woman put down the work in her hands, slowly stood up and asked, with some concern in her tone.

Krum shook his head, put Serena on the bed, and said, "It's her, Swinburne. She twisted her ankle."

The woman looked at Salina and obviously realized that she was not a student of Durmstrang.

But she didn't say anything. She just bent down to look at Salina's ankle, then stood up, took out the corresponding healing potion from the medicine cabinet next to her and began to treat Salina.

"Have a good sleep, and you'll be back to normal by tomorrow morning."
