Chiyoko didn't want to delay any longer, "Let's get out of here and find Ai. Prison is not a good place to stay."

"Indeed." Conan was aroused by his words and wished he could summon Haibara Ai immediately so that they could form a community with a shared destiny.

Hanging on the cross were beautiful young girls, their hands bound at either end of the cross, imitating their Son of God.

"My hair is naturally curly!" the girl was speechless.

"Look at her white robe. She must have put it on with the intention of defiling the great Virgin Mary!"

"This is a lab coat!" the girl rolled her eyes.

"This is called natural beauty!" the girl said disdainfully.

The crowd was noisy, and everyone was talking to each other, almost calling her a devil who didn't deserve to live.

"Then Miss Einstein, at this sacred moment, I still want to ask you a question on behalf of the great and pure Virgin Mary." The old Pope, whose white robe was somewhat yellowed, came to the cross with a torch in his hand and muttered to himself, looking at her with a compassionate expression.

"Are you willing to give up the darkness and embrace the light?"

"The great Virgin Mary will forgive the lost lambs and lead you to the right path."

The girl raised her head, revealing her smooth and delicate white neck, and looked down at everyone with proud eyes.

"A bunch of idiots."

She seldom swears unless she can't help it.

The old Pope shook his head regretfully, gestured a few times in front of his chest, then closed his eyes and dropped the torch.

Flames rose from the firewood, and the addition of strong liquor helped it burn quickly.

"Who stepped on my head?"

"Ouch!"

"That damn witch must have used some magic!"

The crowd became noisy again, and a black shadow "flew" over their heads and quickly approached the cross.

The girl smiled, her eyes curved into crescents, no longer caring about the blazing fire.

With almost no effort, the black shadow rescued the girl from the cross, held her in his arms, exerted force on his feet, and soared into the sky again, tapping the old Pope's bald head for leverage.

"It was the devil she summoned by witchcraft!"

"Great Mother, please show up and capture this damn witch!"

"Save the child!"

The crowd was in chaos.

However, the two culprits who caused the commotion did not focus their attention on them.

"What is this?" Haibara Ai curiously lifted the black cloth on Chiyoko's body and saw the thin prison uniform inside that could not cover her entire body. She quickly let go of her hand and her face turned red.

"Uh...a rag I picked up from the roadside." Chiyoko said awkwardly.

"Ugh." A look of disgust appeared on Huibara Ai's face.

Not wanting to embarrass herself in front of her, Chiyoko just wanted to run away quickly and change into some nice clothes.

"See you again, Holy Mother!"

He kicked the old Pope on the head again, then carried Haibara Ai away from the execution scene above the crowd.
