Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Chapter 74 Sirius Black
Anriel came to Hogsmeade again.
But this time he knew that he would not gain nothing.
His eyes swept over the stray dogs in the village.
It was an enormous black dog, as big as a wolf...
No, not this one... There is no intelligence in its eyes that belongs to humans...
Not this one...which one?
Anriel cast his eyes towards a big black dog that was taller than the trash can. At this moment, the dog was standing on its two hind legs, with its head and entire upper body stuck into the trash can, searching for something.
After a while, the black dog seemed to sense something and retracted its head from the trash can.
He had...a copy of the Daily Prophet in his mouth.
A dog won't read a newspaper for no reason.
Especially since this place is at the very edge of Hogsmeade, no one usually comes here.
Anriel was sure that this was it.
"cough."
He coughed lightly, and the black dog showed a vigilant look, and immediately threw away the newspaper in its mouth... I mean, after spitting it out, it bared its sharp canine teeth at Anriel threateningly -
I have to say, it is very lifelike.
I'm a zoologist and he's a real dog.
Sirius successfully disguised himself as a dangerous but normal stray dog. No one would be suspicious of such a dog except that he was caught rummaging through newspapers in a trash can.
Anriel looked around and confirmed that no one was around and said seriously:
"Well, Mr. Black, I think you need to brush up on the history of Hogwarts in recent years—
Especially the part about me.
Come with me now, and let's go talk to Dumbledore."
Anriel seemed to be dissatisfied with Sirius's behavior of being unmoved and still looking for an opportunity to escape, so he added the last sentence:
"Stop pretending. You have to know that if I want to use force to take you back, the effect will be the same."
And what about Sirius?
To be honest, he is very panicked now.
There is no such ridiculous plot as "Anriel talks to himself in front of a big black dog, and half a day later he finds out that it is really just a dog."
The black dog rummaging through the trash can for newspapers was indeed Sirius.
He didn't know what was wrong with him?
"Hurry up - there are no Dementors here so far."
Anriel kindly reminded Sirius what the biggest trouble he was facing now was.
Sirius hesitated for a moment, but finally took a step towards Anriel.
Anriel nodded in satisfaction, stood up, turned and walked towards the castle, with a big black dog wagging its tail following behind him.
In the end, impulse overwhelmed caution, and anger suppressed reason.
He had been forced to wait for twelve years.
He no longer wanted to let that dirty rat go.
Feeling the life behind him catching up, Anriel walked in front without turning his head to look at him, only showing a smile that Sirius could not see.
Anriel has not fully mastered the Resurrection Stone. If he had fully mastered it, he would be able to judge whether it was Sirius himself by "whether the soul hidden in the dog's body was a human soul or a dog's soul."
He doesn't have this ability now, he can only tell that there is a living creature following him.
Soon, he took advantage of the fact that no one was around and sent Sirius to Hogwarts from a corner where no one was paying attention.
Just think of it as a dog hole.
Most people haven't had enough fun in Hogsmeade yet... they can't be back so early.
The two of them walked slowly up the stairs to the principal's office. Of course, just in case -
For example, people like Snape and Lupe have seen Sirius transform into an animal.
Sirius was now wearing an Invisibility Charm cast by Anriel himself, and its effect was no less than that of the Invisibility Cloak belonging to the Potter family.
"Pile of cockroaches."
Classic quotes are reproduced, and the right of interpretation belongs to Dumbledore.
There was no one in the room except an old man with a white beard.
Sirius opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
Of course he couldn't utter a word, not because he was filled with mixed emotions after seeing his old principal.
Rather, Anriel cast an absolute silence spell on him to prevent him from making any noise when walking and being discovered...
"Sir, I have some news. I'm not sure if it's good or bad... but it's definitely explosive."
Anriel said with a smile on his face.
After hearing this, Dumbledore had an inexplicable ominous premonition in his heart, so he immediately put down his quill and paused the work at hand:
"Say it, kid."
"I found Sirius Black."
"What?" "What!"
A questioning tone and a shocked tone sounded at the same time.
The former came from Albus Dumbledore, and he regained his composure the next second.
The latter, Phineas Black from the wall…started chattering the next second.
"Okay, Mr. Phineas, please stop for a moment..."
Anriel spread his hands helplessly.
Dumbledore took the opportunity to ask:
"So where did you find him? Where is he now?"
Anriel pretended to think about it.
A sly smile appeared on his face:
"here."
......
The air seemed to freeze at this moment.
Phineas's stream of disparaging remarks about Sirius stopped with a snap, like a pinched hose.
Then there was a loud bang with an unbelievable tone.
"What? Here?!"
Anriel didn't respond and threw his wand back.
Of course, I didn’t sell it.
A skinny man with disheveled hair and skin like dirty paper stuck to his muscles - Sirius Black - appeared in the house.
The twelve years he had spent in Azkaban had already left him somewhat malnourished, and if he stayed there for too long, there was no guarantee he would develop some kind of mental illness.
The subsequent difficult escape, sleeping in the open air, and having no fixed place to live...all these things made Sirius look like neither human nor ghost now.
Apart from being alive and breathing, he was barely human...
Oh, and those dark eyes.
Being in Azkaban for so long had given him a certain trait.
His thoughts are now deeper than his actions, and his actions are crazier than his thoughts.
Translated into human language, it roughly means that his mental condition is now precarious.
It was this Sirius Black who suddenly appeared in the house.
He made a hoarse sound, like a throat clearing.
As if he finally realized that he could speak, he laughed awkwardly a few times.
"Professor…Professor Dumbledore."
The scene in the headmaster's office seemed to have some stimulating effect on this former Hogwarts student.
The first words he spoke to Dumbledore were "Professor".
It seems that his mind has not been completely distorted by hatred.
Dumbledore only glanced at Sirius and then turned back to Anriel.
He knew too well what kind of person this child of his was.
Just like Gellert back then.
