Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Chapter 102: Conversation with Hagrid
So, Anriel found Hermione and told her about it. Hermione slapped her forehead, ran back to the Gryffindor common room, and took out a pile of large and small parchments.
Anriel packed these things and stuffed them into a non-existent box - Hermione had not yet learned the Traceless Extension Charm, let alone Anriel's incredible operation.
Ten minutes before five, Anriel, Luna and Hermione appeared in front of Hagrid's cabin.
He glanced at Luna, who was looking around as if she couldn't sit still, raised his eyebrows, walked up and knocked on the door.
"Who is it... Oh, you are here... Come in quickly..."
Hagrid opened the door, saw who it was and stepped aside.
"Good afternoon, Hagrid."
Anriel greeted him and glanced at Hagrid's hair, which was even wilder than usual:
"You look very ill—is that about Buckbeak?"
Hagrid took a deep breath, as if he wanted to say something, but in the end, he became deflated, put the hunting crossbow in his hand into the corner, and sat down on the sofa.
"It's a long shot... Buckbeak... Malfoy's relationship with the Department for the Control of Magical Creatures..."
Hagrid muttered to himself, and put his hands into his thick beard to support his face.
"Hagrid! Cheer up! If even you give up, then Buckbeak will really be hopeless!"
Hermione raised her voice a notch, trying to get Hagrid's attention.
"Well, she's right."
Luna whispered softly.
Hagrid looked up at the two girls who were trying to persuade him in their own way and nodded sadly.
Suddenly, he seemed to have thought of something:
"By the way, Hermione...I heard that you and Ron had a bad argument? Is that true?"
Hagrid paused and looked a little serious. Only at this moment did he look like an adult of the older generation.
"Well, that's what happened."
Hermione admitted readily.
Anriel raised her eyebrows - her current attitude of not caring at all and not caring at all about the relationship between Ron and Hermione was actually more detrimental to the relationship.
But let her be.
"Can you give me a brief account?" asked Hagrid.
"Okay." Hermione pondered for a few seconds, as if she was organizing her words.
"It was basically that my cat, Crookshanks, ate his mouse, Ben-Ben. I thought about apologizing to him, but he insisted that I send Crookshanks away - or throw him away - before he would accept my apology.
He thinks Crookshanks is a mad cat."
She shrugged.
"After trying three times, I've given up now."
Hagrid frowned.
"But, Hermione, you should understand... the meaning of a pet... whether it is for him or for you -"
He stood up and went into the back room, bringing out a suspicious brown oval plate of cereal.
Luna looked around at the plate of...cakes, and you could see an obvious desire in her: "How about I try it?"
Hermione had obviously experienced the "power" of this kind of cake, so she just picked up the teapot on the tray with the cakes and poured a cup for each of the four people present.
Anriel picked up the teacup and sniffed it. It should be barley tea.
He looked at Hagrid, but Hagrid was not looking at him.
Then... take a sip?
Anriel picked up the cup and took a sip.
Ok……
It's good, not barley.
“Sage, and dandelions.”
Unexpectedly, Luna took the teacup, smelled it, took a sip like Anriel, and then gave a recipe.
"Ah, these two are correct!"
Hagrid looked a little happier, but he just turned to Luna and glanced at her, then continued to say to Hermione:
"Although this may not be appropriate for me to say, the friendship between you should be more important than pets. It is much more important."
Hermione nodded in disbelief:
"Hagrid, you are right, but I have discovered one more thing."
"What is it?" Hagrid asked, confused.
“Friendship is a two-way process.”
Hermione said firmly.
"I can think that friendship is much more important than a mouse or a cat - I did think so before...
But he obviously doesn’t think so.”
Hermione's voice sounded cold.
"So his importance to me now is no longer as important as my cat."
Anriel listened quietly beside him, exhaling the steam that should have appeared after drinking a whole cup of hot tea - after all, he was a man-made person, so it didn't matter.
Luna's eyebrows curved, her eyes kept wandering over Anriel and Hermione's faces, and finally she sighed silently.
Hermione had already found a reason for Anriel's heresy, and then convinced herself:
Or maybe it could be called...
There are great scholars who will debate the scriptures for me.
If Ron's importance to Hermione is not as great as that of Crookshanks, then a question will arise:
No matter what, a person's value is greater than that of a cat.
But if we don’t consider it from the perspective of interests... then from the very beginning, humans are more important than mice or cats.
So this statement is sophistry from the beginning.
Luna vaguely guessed that Anriel had his own future to pursue, but she didn't know what position Hermione held in it.
I hope it's not an abandoned child...
Even though they both had completely different personalities, she still had a good impression of Hermione.
But if you are really unfortunate enough to be an "abandoned child"...
Luna moved closer to Anriel, squeezed into her boyfriend's arms, and sipped her tea in small sips.
Love you no matter what you do, no matter whether you are good or evil.
......
Seeing that Hagrid seemed to want to persuade her, Hermione spoke before he could:
"Okay Hagrid, I know the limits of my own affairs. The more important thing today is Buckbeak's matter."
"Uh... yeah... okay then."
All Hagrid could do was nod, and then take a few seconds to adjust to "feeling sad for Buckbeak" mode.
The conversation had progressed to this point, and Anriel had discovered:
The reason why Hagrid asked her to send Hermione here... was really for no other purpose.
He was overthinking...he imagined Hagrid to be too complicated (covering his face).
Anriel and Luna were of little help - this was a classic case file, not a Fantastic Beasts quiz.
So, Luna, who had some free time, set her sights on the plate of rock cakes...
It turns out that most humans, especially young humans, have this habit of not turning back until they hit a wall...
Luna raised her head and looked at Anriel with her big watery eyes. She didn't say anything, just watched.
Anriel rubbed his brows with a headache:
"Luna...you...oh, forget it, just try it if you want..."
Then Anriel's tone became serious:
"Don't bite too hard..."
No one could eat Hagrid's rock cake calmly except himself.
