Li Xueyue woke up, feeling lost and confused. She blinked, her eyes filled with pure confusion. She looked around and sat up, wondering what was going on. She was confused.

"I was originally sleeping on the table, how did I end up sleeping on the bed?" She asked no one in particular.

Li Xueyue lifted the quilt and found that she had not changed her clothes, but she didn't care. She got out of bed and opened the door to the living room of her manor. She jumped up when she heard a slight "cooing" sound.

"Oh my god..." she trailed off. On her desk sat a golden cage and perched on a thick branch was a light grey dove.

Li Xueyue recognized the bird at a glance. She rushed forward and opened her lips in surprise.

“How did you get here?” Li Xueyue asked as she checked the bird cage to make sure it had food and water. In fact, the bird feeder was full of food, and there was a full water tank for the pets. A bathing station was also prepared.

"Well, I'm glad to see you again," she said as she stepped back from the cage. She didn't know what to do with the pigeon. It looked dirty compared to the cloud-white bird from a few days ago.

"I'll have the servants clean it up for you," she said.

Li Xueyue walked to the window and pushed it open. As expected, it was already night. The moon was hanging high in the sky and the stars were out.

"Well, it's late," she pointed out. She closed the window and walked toward the bedroom door.

"Princess." The guards outside bowed.

Li Xueyue nodded, looked around, and found that there was no servant around.

"What time is it now?" she asked.

"It is already midnight, Your Highness," a guard replied.

"How about we call a servant?" asked another guard.

Li Xueyue shook her head.

"No need," she said.

Li Xueyue didn't want to disturb the servants' rest. It wasn't their fault that she slept for so long. She felt very strange. This time, she didn't have a nightmare again. On the contrary, it was a happy dream.

She vaguely remembered a gentle caress on her face but decided that must have been her imagination.

Li Xueyue returned to her room. She had no specific plans in mind, but she decided it would be best not to disturb anyone. She closed the door behind her and walked towards the table.

"I should write a letter to my family," she decided on a whim.

After the carrier pigeon is thoroughly cleaned, Li Xueyue will send the letter.

The next morning, Li Xueyue hadn't slept a wink - she hadn't tried. She spent her time writing letters to every member of her family, including Li Minghua.

"Well, it seems like there are too many of them. You can't give them away." Li Xueyue looked at the bird thoughtfully.

This morning, the servants were surprised to see her get up so early, but they quickly got to work.

While Li Xueyue was having breakfast, the bird was taken out of her room and cleaned thoroughly. When she was done eating, it was returned to her. Yan Xi again complimented her appetite—thanked her for her progress.

"It's great that you can come back to me." Li Xueyue turned her head and whispered to the bird.

Yan Xi was combing her hair, and another maid was applying powder to her face. Not long after, the Crown Princess was dressed.

As Yu Zhen said, she was asked to wear lighter accessories and her clothes were no longer as heavy as before. She could move easily without straining her body.

"Your Highness, we are ready." Yan Xi stepped back and said softly. The maids praised their masterpiece.

Today, the princess wears richer colors, including purple and white. She is the epitome of beauty, just like wisteria, gentle and elegant.

"You surpass yourself as always." Li Xueyue said happily. She saw her reflection in the mirror. Every day, she dressed perfectly.

"Only the best for my princess." A lazy voice came from behind the screen.

Li Xueyue didn't need to look back to know who had entered her room without permission. Only he had this privilege.

"Excuse me for being blunt," Yu Zhen told the maids. They dispersed from the room as quickly as a flock of birds. The door closed behind them, and soon they were the only two left.

"People will think we're doing something fishy alone in the bedroom," Li Xueyue muttered as a hand slid across her. She was gently pulled against his chest.

"There aren't many people as ambiguous as you, Yangguang." Yu Zhen smiled thoughtfully. He bent down and kissed the top of her head.

"Did you sleep well, little hamster?" Yu Zhen asked as she played with the flowing ends of the silk ropes that tied her clothes.

Li Xueyue nodded. "Did you?"

"Sadly no."

Li Xueyue raised her head slightly and glanced at him. She turned around in his arms, wanting to take a good look at him.

"Why not?" she asked worriedly. Subconsciously, her hands went to his face.

Li Xueyue was a little surprised when he rested his cheek on her hand. She was worried that he would also have irregular nightmares. She didn't want him to experience the same troubles as her.

"Because I sleep alone."

Li Xueyue's cheeks burned as she heard his words. This pervert. She pulled her hand back, but he grabbed her wrist and held it in place. She looked up and glared at him. He smiled down at her.

"What?" he asked.

"You can't..." Li Xueyue trailed off. This was another trap. This time she refused to fall into it again.

She saw the excitement in his eyes. He was going to play another prank on her. This prank was too hard to ignore.

"Oh, never mind," she huffed, putting her hands back on his face. Without warning, she pulled at his skin, only to become irritated.

"Why doesn't your face stretch?" she complained, annoyed at his perfection. She envied his chiseled features. How could he be so handsome so early in the morning?

"Because I don't stuff food in my cheeks, unlike a certain hamster here." Yu Zhen said with a smile. He took her hand that was resting on her cheek and brought it to his lips.

"Did you eat a lot today?" he whispered into her fingertips.

"Do not."

Yu Zhen paused in the kiss. His lips curved downwards, his face disapproving. "Why not?" he asked. "Is the food not to your liking?"

Li Xueyue opened her mouth, but was interrupted by him.

"Should I ask the cooks to prepare something bland? Or should they be executed for their incompetence?"

Li Xueyue stared at him blankly. She almost scolded him. He couldn’t run around killing people! Was that why everyone around him looked nervous? But she didn’t want to turn him back to his old self.

"I was just teasing you." Li Xueyue muttered.

"You're terrible." Yu Zhen said expressionlessly.

Li Xueyue raised her eyebrows. Is this a challenge?

"What?" He smiled when he saw the passionate glint in her eyes.

Li Xueyue raised her hands and brought his face close to hers, startling him. She was delighted to see his open lips and focused eyes. His attention was focused only on her, not on anyone else.

She stood on her tiptoes and tilted her face up. She could see the fire starting to ignite on its own. And all she did was pretend to kiss him. Her lips touched the corner of his mouth playfully.

"Sunshine," he called impatiently, his hands on her waist. He squeezed out the money in revenge, but she continued to test his patience.

Li Xueyue kissed the other corner of his mouth, enjoying the feeling of his fingers digging deeper into her waist. She continued downward until her teeth teasingly brushed his chin, then slowly worked their way down his neck.

She sucked and kissed the same way he did to her. Her fingers slid down the other side of his neck, the movements deliberately slow and light. She felt his skin warming beneath her fingertips as he grunted for more.

Then, Li Xueyue found the spot. He breathed hard and grabbed the back of her neck without warning. Her eyes widened as he pulled her up, and his lips pressed hard against hers. But she quickly turned her head away, and he kissed her cheek instead.

"Li Xueyue." he warned.

Li Xueyue chuckled. She pushed him away from her.

"That reminds me," she said suddenly. "I haven't seen my horse for a while. Goodbye!"

She waved her finger and rushed to the door. Li Xueyue looked back and saw him standing there, confused and puzzled. When he finally realized what was happening, his head immediately turned in her direction.

But it was too late. She flung the door open and was only one step away from leaving the room.

“You bastard, get back here!” Yu Zhen roared and rushed to the door, but she slammed it shut and ran out into the corridor.

Yu Zhen flung open the door, and bursts of giggles came from the corridor. He rubbed his chest and felt a little itchy in his heart. That voice was so cute, laughing at him from a distance.

Yu Zhen was helpless and could only watch her run away. He narrowed his eyes and watched the purple whirlwind disappear in the corridor.
